This video shows invasive herping(reptile catching) in South Florida. Iguana Solutions is a wildlife removal company specializing in iguana removal in Broward County. We often catch and see many of the other invasive species that are taking over Florida.
Florida is the invasive species capital of the WORLD...with over 50 established reptiles and amphibians alone. Remember, a species in invasive only if it is not from that environment AND causes damage/harm to the environment/species native to that environment.
This video shows invasive agamas, green iguanas, brown basilisks, spiny-tailed iguanas, Myna birds and more!
Thanks for watching!

Run Jess Run. See Jess Run. That's one way to do it! And it is hard to believe there are so many invasive critters taking over our State. Mike in sunny Florida
Awesome video. Keep them coming!
At the end there were some guys in the office saying, "Oh look, there is a native underwearimus protrudious sneaking around outside the window again!"
Look forward to these videos very week.
I can't believe all the little ones you got with the glue traps.
We have those red headed lizards all over in PSL. I was freaking out when you were holding that snake. Yuk Yuk LoL
Lots of variety in this vid.
This was a great video with all the different species and the Myna Bird. Fast running there, time for Jermaine to make an appearance. Great team
Fantastic video. So informative. Great photography by Jermaine. And great info by agile and funny Jessica. Great way to finish my wknd in So Cal. Stay safe.
Your sweet wife is awesome ! she makes the "Crocodile Hunter" RIP look like an amateur ! Jess is Godzilla
24:11 so... this is how a cougar looks like!
It’s like having a nature lesson on a specialist subject 👍
Grreat video as always. I watched the other video as well. Lots of great Airgun content in that one. Ya'll take care of yourselves. Looking forward to the next video already.
Thanks Rhoni n Jeff! We hope to have a sniper video out in the next couple days
Interesting different species. Nice to see alternative catch methods too. All by hand. Who knew. Thanks for sharing
Great video, thanks!!
REDHEADS ARE USUALLY GOOD LOOKIN, LOL
GREAT WORK!@! Those dang things are a menace to native animals. More power to you,
Someone else mentioned this, but I'll reiterate: you really need to trademark the phrase, "Got you iguana!"
❤❤🦎❤❤
Well done that was fabulous love your work keep it up that was a work out today cheers
Great video, I appreciate your unique ability to speak to the flora and fauna you encounter, and your newly seen cheetah like skills in running down a four-legged animal. ROAR!
Lol Thanks😋
Can't imagine taking a dump at the toilet when an iguana swims up the other end.
Awesome snake, glad to see more posts.
Really interesting post. Roughly how many iguanas do you catch in a year.
Jess, why don't they bite you ? hardly ever see you get bit ! ??? please tell! best channel on YT
You're an amazing incredible lady , I know that your husband and son are so proud of you , mom and wife ,
WooooooooooW!!! Was that a bouquet of Iguana Flower Buds!!! Nice Green Color... Do they have reds tongues to off set the green!!! Run Jessica Run!!! See you do know a lot about lizards... Herpetologist... Amateur lean towards Pro!!!! Go Jessica Go!!! "She's Gotchu Iguana!!!!"
Awesome Jessica you are my favorite
Wow! How things change in over 30 years in South Florida. I lived in Cooper City from 1976 to 1984 when I graduated from Cooper City High School. If I recall, the Iguana population explosion is to blame on the removal of the old zoo in Miami down on the beach. They never removed the iguanas from the original exhibit. They just removed the fencing and let the iguanas roam free.
Well, I guess that if you can deliver the iguanas to people who eat them, it saves on disposal costs. (and better for the environment as well).
wow, This is like a mouse trap in what Austaralia, this is crazy
Jessica is smart as well as talented 😍😍😍
Awww thanx🤗
Fun video. There are loads of agammas down in the upper keys. They have beautiful rainbow colored tails (I'd add a pic but don't know how to do this). Not sure how you caught them, we had trouble just getting close enough for pictures. They are fast! I reported them on EDDMaps if you wan't the location and pictures.
Oh good job reporting them on Eadds! I have seen them there too...at burger king and at a large farmers market
@@iguanaSnipers Very cool. I love looking for invasives (fish, too!). I have over a dozzen reports published on Eadds. Next on my list are chameleons! Looking hard for those at the moment. PLease keep the videos coming!
Wow! Impressive glue trap results!!
👍👍👍👊😎
Man I hope that seat geek ad gets taken down soon. Such a creepy and rather disturbing ad. Sorry Jessica just had to say it. Man that first catch was massive.
Seat geek ad? Hmm i wonder if i have any control over what is shown
Can't wait....
No airguns in IguanAdventures
Wow great job 🦎🦎🦎👍🏻😎
Great job I suppose having good weather all year round has its downfall here in UK winters would kill a lot off
Yes! We rely on cold winters to kill back mosquito populations, invasive plants, and more. Some plant seeds require a freeze to germinate...when we had a freeze here 2 years ago, about 10-20% of the iguanas i found frozen died
Great job running them down.. keep up the great work.. the only thing I miss is you putting them to sleep.. 🪦🪦
FWIW, I sometimes use glue traps for mice. When I humanely put them down I conk them on the head with a small hammer.
Ready for it .!!!! , Run Jessica Run don't you let them get away from you girl. That two tail was awesome 😎 cool !!!!! Jessica another great video keep'em coming and keep'em in your crosshairs + or catch Pole or running them down ....
Thanks so much Terry!
@@iguanaSnipers You both are welcome so much
You rock
I love the glue trap method for the babies , so effective!
The heck, you're like the Iguana whisperer, lol that is awesome! Never seen this trapping side of iguana pestation. Where I live in northern California I do feral Hog, Crow, and feral pigeon eradication. If not the hogs will destroy the land, pigeons bring disease to livestock, and the crow's shock kill calves and lambs as they're coming out of the mother's womb by poking their eyes out and eating them alive through the umbilical cord. So during the breeding season, I shoot all the crows with my FX Impact .22. If you're ever in Northern California hit me up, A crack shot like you would have a blast. Another awesome video.
Hehehe, There would have to be some big , very sticky glue boards to cath those hogs with!! In Texas we use cage traps and .308 caliber Rugers with silencers at least for the hogs! For the crows, back when they migrated over our farm, 12 ga. 1100 Remington did the job quite well!! The crows quit migrating there and now its just pigs. 300 head a year is the last count we took.
No need for a gym membership, just chase iguana with Jessica
Not many professional athletes can run like that well done
Thanks! Sorry i missed you in chat! 4 am - glad we caught you!
I live in the sw Missouri mountains, I have ran outta ferril critters.
Gun lays silent.
Wow Jessica you can run!! Were you on the track team in high school? That last lizard with the blue tail I've seen in Aruba.
Ameiva, from South America
It's weird that there's a Denny's next right next door
exercise day for everyone well done
maybe the green spiny tail is a hybrid
That is crazy
Jessica where you in high school track. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂great catch. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
No im terrible in sports😅
@@iguanaSnipers You are EPIC in catching iguana. You rock ❤️🙏👍❤️🙏👍
Thanks so much! I really appreciate you wat hing and commenting!
I heard on the news that they are going to make iguana catching a new Olympic sport starting 2024.
Jessica, Would the iguana skins be any good to make belts/ wallets /shoes out of ?
Like a big cat , you need to close the distance , and then pounce .. 😅
Wow, I would never have been able to chase down one of these , they CAN run a good distance and fast
Lizards, no problem .. BUT snakes and I’m OUT !! 😂
Wow you sure can easily handle these things , most lizards I hold are trying to run away or bite me 😁
You look funny chasing those iguanas they're fast aren't they
Didn't think Cumberland Farms were in south Florida.
AAA is Trinidad I now hear ..dam right wish all them iguanas was in Trinidad and Tobago we almost run out
We have many trini friends👍😁😁😁
there was a batch of mynabirds in hawiiin the fifties
Spiny Tail...Come out to play -aye.
Right? I just wanna give her a hug...like Elvira🤗
Nice curry GREEN Iguana. I am from Suriname.
Holy cow that is alot of juvinile iguanas. How often and how many is usual for green iguana?
Each large adult female usually lays from 35-60 eggs from what I have seen. And they often times have 50+
Where does the basilisk come from
Jess, would you please show us how you rigged your catchpole?
Thanks!
It is on my instagram but i will try to do it agian on the next video for you!
@@iguanaSnipers
Thank you, Miss Charming : )
You got a gas station ⛽ iguana lol 😆
Yeah he was watching me pump gas...and i was like....i bet i could catch you....gotchu
Go Jermaine!!
So is this more work and Hey, Job Security !
Did anyone else notice the basketball at 5:16 ?
Jessica do you keep any of the baby iguanas and fatten them up for people or are they just put to sleep nicely just interested thanks
No i would need many cages and it would take years
Does Arizona Airguns have sales often? They had a good starter rifle on sale a couple weeks ago. Missed out.
Call and speak to them. It is a small crew...tell em what you are looking to spend. Sometimes they have a refurbished gun to get started in the hobby
@@iguanaSnipers I`ll do that. Thanks.
She is a biologist, No, or at least a 4 yr degree in biology?
Bouquet of iguanas
This is more interesting than the Sniper ones.
So glad you enjoy the adventure side!!!!💜🦎💜
dont kill those special ones like the spiny tail ,ameiva etc. maybe sell to other states
Always so much more fun to watch Jessica catch, shoot, chase, or show off her Iguanas. The other guy making videos is making too much hype, missing more than he's hitting, and becoming too full of himself to enjoy.
If they can get through the sewer and up the toilet how do they survive the methane gas?
They dont come up the sewer- they come down the soil vent from the roof, then can only escape by swimming through the pipe and up the toilet....😏keep the lids closed Floridians
Enough fun and games. You take the camera and let Jermaine hoof it after a few of them. Then you can ask him if he is winded. That man needs to earn his keep. Cut back on his food and let him thin out and become the Iguana Sprinter. That title would make a cool shirt with a picture of him in foot pursuit.
Jermaine used to run track, probably why he caught it...but now he is kind enough to film me❤😋❤
@@iguanaSnipers Remember the line from Guardians of the Galaxy; " Awake for the pay, asleep for the work." I'm keeping my eye on him. Love the videos.
The myna birds are a curse, breed like crazy, aggressive to natives, nest in roofs, terrible problem in Australia now where they are known as Indian mynas (flying rats) ,good post Jessica and Jermaine !
wow corn snake ? so you turn this over them and they can track?
?are you asking about Eadds?
@@iguanaSnipers sorry. drunk but think this was the trap, sticky ?
#GotchuGuana
Come carnival after the coronavirus and you will enjoy yourself.make a vid about it tooooooo
😊😊😊😊😊
Ya, Great Job, I Think you are on to something, like Mouse Traps, Shooting is fun, this may go mass trapping ?
what an amazing interesting video,i would have a fun time catching all those different reptiles
Smoker's cough?
You are soooooooooo funny. Lol. I much prefer it when you put a hole in their head!!!
You need a good terrior. Jack Russell, rat or a jagd. Your life would be a whole lot easier. My Jack Russell/ chihuahua mix corners and drags raccoons back to me alive unless I let her kill them. A mini poodle would retrieve and maybe bring them back to you alive.
My chihuahuas love to hunt mice, but one time a bearded dragon got inside my place. My dogs were trying to chase down that lizard for days, but it escaped out the window.
I guess the agama are also invasive, needing to be controlled too?
Jessica, that’s some fast running. If we ever choose up teams, I’d want you on my team!
Lol Im actually not that fast but yes the agamas are invasive. It was also sent for dissection
Two names for that kind of snake the red rat snake and the corn snake same snake
no airguns! to bad....... :-(
Not in IguanAdventures
What happens to all the iguanas
They are put down sadly
@@iguanaSnipers thank you for letting me know can’t wait to see your next video
The gas station iguana was really pretty
I think this in any climate, why do people put vegetation next to their house, in mid regions, this invites wood boring insects, in my wife's land of Thailand they put in pipes under the slabs of concrete to inject insecticide to them. it is silly in ANY climate to put any vegetation near the dwelling, just not proper.
You're beautiful and I'm pretty impressed how you ran that iguana down
Don’t be sexist and she runs like a girl.
I heard the legs are good too honey iguana
thumbs for Miss Jessica RUNNING down the iguanas ! 13:22.. Miss Jessica should have been in her bikini lol .
Come on, go to the local gym/HS track and do 2, 3, 4 laps build your endurance and after a 4 or 5 weeks do some sprints, come on girl you are faster than that 😂😂😎
Serious. You are a fit, ok. person, so build up I dare you, buy a pair of Asics and go to a good track, exercise and learn to do laps.
just do a half, then a whole, before a few laps then RUN
Lol never! I hate running
They're stuck on the glue board, why remove them, just pith them and toss the board in the trash.
Chased them down like a free safety!
Why no air guns? To dispose of them put them in a large cooler and plumb in some CO2 gas from a cartridge.
Gas Station Iguana,,,,,IgotuIguana,,,,beautiful snake
