We the people of the area surrounding Fort Benning, GA. loudly protest often, to no avail. SOA "transitioned" into Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation (WHINSEC) in 2001. Many, including myself, view that as little more than a public relations stunt. It remains at Fort Benning & continues training & exporting death squads & guerrillas-for-hire.
Similarly, one could rename poisons "health products;" the toxicity & death remains.
We still protest SOA/WHINSEC; one does what one can to affect change.

Yes, he lied. The reason for no impeachment? Simple. President George H.W.Bush pulled an Executive Order making sure he would not be impeached as Gerald Ford did for Nixon. Do the homework. I always have!

What the hell are you even talking about? Alcohol abuse causes more deaths and is more harmful than marijuana. Deaths caused by marijuana = 0. Look it up and google. We are spending millions of dollars to enforce marijuana being illegal and being are going to jail possession. This is stupid, if we make it legal and treat it like wine, the drug dealers would be off the streets, it could spending on our huge debt, and the government would actually make money. More violence comes from prohibition.

The Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) was created in 1961 as a response to the brutal government of Nicaragua's dictatorial Samoza family. The organization was founded as a student movement to topple the Somoza dictatorship but it gained little traction. But popular sentiment shifted against the Somozas after the Managua Earthquake that killed 5,000 people and leveled much of the capital city in 1972

It’s too late now, but if Trump had done a “mea culpa” speech shortly after taking office, he would have been forgiven by most of his supporters, and the press would have been disarmed. He could have released enough facts to make it seem like he was letting everyone in on his secrets, and also seemed like he was being presidential.

Sure. Since President Reagan left the White House in 1989, the U. S. has stumbled, so it is wise to ponder why Reagan did so well. Was it natural intelligence or careful political training? Not really-and that fact both galls and baffles his critics. Reagan had three parts to his genius. First, he was a visionary; he believed that people wanted freedom and would do well when more of it was given to them. Whether he was undermining the Soviets, challenging an unlawful union, or deregulating oil

(From CBS of all places) ...all the problems facing the United States right now, none are more important than health care.
President Obama says rising costs are driving huge federal budget deficits that imperil our future, and that there is enough waste and fraud in the system to pay for health care reform if it was eliminated.

Many critics of reducing taxes claim that the Reagan tax cuts drained the U.S. Treasury. The reality is that federal revenues increased significantly between 1980 and 1990:
Total federal revenues doubled from just over $517 billion in 1980 to more than $1 trillion in 1990. In constant inflation-adjusted dollars, this was a 28 percent increase in revenue.
As a percentage of the gross domestic product (GDP), federal revenues declined only slightly from 18.9 percent in 1980 to 18 percent in 1990.
