Great video. Here is a tip about how to lose the gamey taste. The gamey taste is due to oxidants in the lamb. Coat the lamb with French's mustard before adding the herbs and spices. I assure you that the meat will not taste of mustard but there will be no gamey taste. Again, great and very enjoyable video.
Hey Rus, where did you source your lamb. Costco always has it and was wondering if it's a good choice. I believe it's imported, but not sure. Australian maybe, not sure?
@@SnSGrills I'll have to try it out. I got the same SNS Kamado and love it. Using the rotisserie attachment tomorrow for a Peruvian chicken I have soaking in a brine. Steven Raichlen's recipe from BBQ bible is the one to use.
Great video, brother! I remember doing the lamb Lolly pops last year and they were amazing. No game flavor when you use that herby rub and sear it that way. I thought it was just as good as any ribeye I’d ever had. Cheers 🍻
Looks delicious mate, nice video! Funny though - I have seen a few American lamb recipes now where the meat has been described as 'gamey' lol. We eat a ton of lamb here in Australia and it's not a description I've ever heard used for lamb before - it just tastes, well, like lamb!
Lamb is always good to be marinades with salt first , then Rosemary and thyme for about four Hours at least. However, thank you for sharing it how to grill
That's typically true when using a "rub" if the rub doesn't already contain salt, but when using fresh herbs as I did here, I always salt on top of the herbs to season them as well. Trust me, the salt makes its way through, and these were perfectly seasoned. So good!!
Great video really good one. Did you just say Hhhherbs 😊 and not eeeerbs … I always pronounce it as Herbs with an “h” in it and get picked up by my fellas lol !!
This looks great but I'll confess, the idea of eating lamb just doesn't sit well with me - hahaha! Someday, I'll get adventurous and try it out. In the meantime, I'll just watch this delicious video!
Haha.. Yeah some people have a harder time with lamb because they are always depicted as being so cute haha. We hope you give it a try some day - you will be in for a great feast!
I'd never grill lamb without letting it marinade for at least 24 hours. I've got a rack in the fridge right now soaking up a marinade mixture of a bottle of State Fair's Spiedies and a bottle of Garlcioius, and a small bottle of Dr Pepper soda.

Lamb is my favorite meat on the grill.

Thanks Jabin! In hindsight I wish I would have done two racks! So good!
Two racks would have been a great idea! More meat = more fun right! haha

Thank You 🔥
Hey Rus, where did you source your lamb. Costco always has it and was wondering if it's a good choice. I believe it's imported, but not sure. Australian maybe, not sure?
You are correct, a lot of Lamb is imported from Australia! Costco is a great spot to pick it up from year round.

I purchased this rack and a leg of lamb from Wild Fork. It's Australian grass fed lamb
Great info! Thx
You’re welcome 🔥
What is the chimney starter you have there???

Those lamb lollipops you did were incredible! both options are a must try!

This guy needs to try Jones soda

The problem with rack of lamb is I can eat four racks.
LOL
That’s a great problem to have🔥

Thanks for watching!
What's with the black gloves?
They essentially help make filming easier. Keeps you from having to wash your hands every time you have to adjust settings on cameras.

Aaawww.... it thinks I'm talking shit.
Believe me, you'd know if I was.
Have a nice day, kid.
@@DarthestWiffiestyou marinade with dr Pepper. Your opinion is invalid.

The marinade isn't only Dr Pepper, genius.
I want to watch the linked video not a bunch of pro bono adverts!
Great vid, but recipe doesn't have marinade prep. Looks like a chuck roast prep. Need to fix that old friend.
The food looks delicious, but do you think it’s a very good idea to be wearing latex gloves in your oils and fire?
lemon zest and juice on lamb?! blasphemy!
👍🏻
