Great video. Outstanding playing showcasing your guitar skills and the capabilities of the amp. I love it when your son shows up as a "special guest" at the end. Nicely done!
Man what was that last patch you were on when your son walked in? That was freakin' killer! If it's your original you need to post the recipe :-) !!!! BTW, your playing is phenomenal!
Nope. After a whole lot more research I ended up buying a VHT Special 6 Ultra, which I absolutely love. I have also tried a couple more of the Mustang III's since then, and it only makes me love my VHT all the more.
@geokermarrec59 i dont know if i'd do all that, but for the price its a great little amp. i pretty much just use it for home practice or real small shows where my larger setup would be overkill.
Yup, Fender makes a lot of us hungry! :o) Have you had any of the 'fizz' problems with the Mustang III? There a lot of comments about it all over the net, but I guess not everyone experiences it. I am looking at purchasing one soon.
awesome playing! I got a question about the amp. Does it have a static buzz when you turn the volume above 5? Mine has one and its kind of bothersome. Even on clean settings I can hear it.
Hearing your demo, i'm wondering if i'd rather sell all my expensive valves amps, stompoxes, effects pedals .................... and buy that Mustang III ....................... Gonna test it at my retailer's shop.
Isn't this amp not too big for just practicing at home and not getting in trouble with your neighbours? Want to buy one myself but not sure which one to buy. The Mustang II or the III?
Hi John, amazing playing. Some of the best I've heard in a while, well done.
appreciate it

That is some sweet playing :D much better than every other review were there's an old man playing over distorted scales all the time... Great job!
Cool playing style! Thanks for this demo. I'll get my Mustang III tomorrow :-))
Great playing mate, very wide variety of styles in your hands.Cheers.

God damn boy that opening is fucking bringing the heat!

Wow! I need to go practise or burn my guitar! That was amazing playing mate!!!!

I own this amp and love it. All the guys at the local guitar store own one too.

The mim is a good, honest Tele, and the stock gear is fine, I see no need to change anything on mine.
John, I'm begging you. Please share the patch you were on at the end when your son walked in. It was freak glorious :-)
I heard awhile back they had a patch or driver or something for the amp that fixed it, and only a very small portion of the amps had the problem.

Nice chops......Are you still liking the mustang III?...i'm thinking of purchasing one but i heard they don't have much bottom end.

nah, that sounds like an issue with your pickups or wiring in your home.
realy cool music, awsome amp, nice kid...

2:14 what song is that? Or is it improv?
@Gamescare
just jammin, thanks for subscribing!
Did you end up getting one of these? Have you experienced the problem?
can you switch clean/ distorsion just using the 2 button pedal ?
yes. i almost bought 4 button...
Is this amp fairly difficult to learn to use as far as finding tones you want?
eh. not really once you get accustomed to the various amp models and what they do etc
Oh right, Im in desperate need for around 100w and swaying towards a Marshall MG101 because of the price
haha nah we were home alone : ) at one point i was soley a musician for a living so she knows the more i play the more money it brings haha
DISTORTION...DISTORTION ..........
Very likely your wife sent your son in to get you back to more useful things (in her opinion) than playing your guitar. That's what mine does to me.
