- Join me for a weekend adventure as Stanley and I travel to Snoqualmie Pass in search of river side camping! The weather turned out to be non-ideal as heavy rain and patches of snow changed some initial plans, though as the weekend continued views of the Cascade Mountains certainly did not disappoint!

Thank you! Truly love the Pacific Northwest landscapes almost any time of year. Feel like I've barley scratched the surface on all there is to showcase though with higher elevation trails opening up from snow it should be a great summer to explore!

Absolutely love your little traveling Buddy. Just be aware in case of airbag deployment (heaven forbid) that has proven fatal for many dogs.
You definitely make a good point, we've actually moved his little bed in the back. Helps me with filming stuff but I think he enjoys having the whole backseat to himself anyway... 😉 👍

Nice! I need to make it down toward Snoqualmie Pass more. Being Whidbey Island based I, typically go around Baker Lake or South Skagit Highway areas.

Love your vids, keep it up but I have a few questions. What dash mount do you use? Why don't you carry when in the back country?
Dash mount is by Expedition Essentials. As far as carrying, just because it's not on camera doesn't mean it may or may not be there.
What a beautiful area, can you share the name of the river you camped by?
I'm planning a little trip next weekend up into the same area , just a one night but will be there early in the morning and leave the following afternoon . It's a couple hours from where I live so not a huge gas bill upcoming , these days I feel like staying close to home .
Right on! There are usually plenty of great opportunities to explore close to home, especially considering the gas prices...

Is that Lone Rock at Lake Powell where you got stuck in the mud? If it is, i got stuck in the same spot about a month ago. I was all by myself and had to call for recovery. It was an expensive experience lol

Great video! I notice you’ve got a C4 front bumper. I was thinking of doing a similar front bumper on my 4Runner. Do you ever have issues not running a front license plate here in Washington?
Thank you! I personally have not run into any issues with the bumper/ front license plate. You can always put it on the dash as an alternative 😉 👍
How does the ARB awning light get powered up??
Through a portable power station, I personally use a Bluetti EB55 unit.
What kind or cook stove is that ?
The Camp Chef 2-burner stove 👍
You need to do more driving and exploring and spend less time videoing camping and cooking!
Well, as I mentioned in the video there was a reason why this trip was a bit more relaxed. Though you have to remember I only have 48 hours to get out and "explore" while filming. I unfortunately do not have the luxury of venturing around full time.
