In general, it's a bad idea to deal with a pet passing away by replacing them. In this couple's case, they were expecting a similar dog, but the new pet isn't going to be the same as the old one.
Yeah, I lost my beagleish girl 8 months ago. I haven't gotten a new one yet. I was tempted to go out right away and get one, but realized I needed to grieve first.
@@percysownersame happened with my beagle and chihuahua, so far I’ve just stuck to cats since they also aren’t ready for another (especially untrained) dog.
"Oh, your best friend died? Let's just get you a new one!" Was my first thought. Bless him, his heart was in the right place. Our family will always have another dog (we can't manage more than 2 at once), but there just has to be time to grieve for both you and your other pets.

When Rick asked "Thats your serious opinion?" I was too shocked to be mad. The audacity! Yes, thats the opinion of an EXPERT!

As a dogtrainer myself ... latest state of science is, that it is usually no problem, when the dog sleeps with you in the bed or sits with you on the sofa, BUT: it has to leave, if you wish to, and of course the growling is absolutely not okay! But this family got so many other issues going on, that's only the peak of the iceberg. In this family there are no kind of leadership, routine or any kind of rules. Please, if you struggle with your dog (or the dog struggles with you ;) ) - take a few bucks and contact the dogtrainer in your area. Yes, it costs a bit, but it is so much worth it for you and your family. 👍 But ... 15 minutes of walk? 15 minutes? ... 😓😓😓 These dogs need at least 2 hours of walk on a daily basis (two times one hour at least!). Maybe, when they are old, the walks could be much shorter. And no dog - NO dog - should be home alone for 8 hours! That is much too long! A good solution could be a dog daycare.

Surely it's common sence to nip things in the bud as a pup even more so with this size dog surely if u don't put things in place u no fine well how it will end its bad enuf having a little dog untrained and take over but this size like having a wild horse in the house hahaha

It doesn't matter how it performs, this show is a decade or so old. It's reruns they put on the internet for a new audience for no cost. And at the time, it was one of Animal Planet's best shows honestly.
