- Right here right now! I still have the original cd and this is the first time Sammy came to Atlanta since he left VH in the mid 90s. Seeing him live with Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani together was a pure treat! Sammy is 76, but he sounded great!

The Right Now solo is one of my all time favorites from VH. Alsmost feel like Joe needs to boost his mids in the mix a bit. Regardless he did a great job.
Going to see these guys 8/2 in Michigan. Cannot fucking wait!!!!!!
This will probably be the last time see anything Van Halen. I saw the reunion first time around with Roth. Greenville show was good , but audio was terrible at phillips arena. Not having Michael Anthony was noticeable.

This is great but all it really does is make me miss Eddie...

I can't stand Joe S. Can't stand how he plays guitar. Can't stnsd the way he moves around the stage on his tip toes. Can't stand how he always looks like he just had chemotherapy.

People never shut up about how good Sammy sounds. He sounds ok, I guess, but wow it's crazy how much all the morons exaggerate his vocal skills these days!
They compare him to other singers in their mid 70’s with 50 years of being in the business. Probably a lot of people are comparing him now to David Lee Roths most recent shows with Van Halen. I’m sure you yourself are a much better singer than both of them

No where near as good as Glenn Hughes...but he is a freak of nature. The vocals are definitely the weak area but fair play for him to going out and keeping the songs alive

He sounds horrible and they even tuned down from the record.
I love Satriani’s solo stuff, but this just isn’t working. He has no charisma and his tone and sound are very bland. I guess it’s like someone trying to follow Hendrix. Eddie was just unmatched.
We are probably looking for EVH on stage and we fans are merciless when it comes to our favorite tracks. :) Am i right?
