    Most Dutch Junk Silver that goes around or a bit over spot, are the silver coins (or tokens) from around 1950 and upwards. WW2 and earlier mostly will go with a numismatic worth. That Victoria coin is a nice one buddy, sweet 👍 ! Ghehehe... yup... the coins are minted in The Netherlands and not Holland. I'm from Holland province so I can always say : I'm both from The Netherlands and Holland :) You also have a great day and once again a well done show with research & effort put into it 👍!

      For us in Germany the Netherlands and Holland are the same.😄😉
      Even your football anthem is Hup Holland Hup and not Hup Nederland Hup.

      Once again, thanks for stopping by buddy. Good point on the age. I think a lot of coins gain some level of numismatik collectability just due to their age. It's going to start to be harder to get these coins at spot as the year's go by.

      @@andreg3912 Hahaha... You're so totally right about the football anthem 😂 And everybody wears Orange as in the German Nassau line 😃 To make matters more complicated : I live in Holland province in The Netherlands, but the "Hollanders" conquered this specific area in what's now Holland 800 years ago... so we have been under occupation for 8 centuries now by Holland 😃 One day.... one day... we will be free again, and maybe re-create Great Frisia again ! Stretching from Belgium, Netherlands, Northern Germany and parts of Denmark 😂

      @@Stacker-vr7je Sure is going to be harder. Most dealers already won't sell at spot. Even the "modern" silver Guldens etc.. are already 50+ years old. Mostly private persons will sell at spot or under. Today bought three Ten Guldens from the late 90's under spot :)

    I don't stack any .999 bullion silver since it can and has been faked, whereas junk silver coins from various governments are not likely to be faked. In a potential bartering situation, I think junk silver is the way to go for safety and acceptance, since it's already real circulated money.

      @H
      I understand what you are saying, but I only stack U.S. junk, and only recently added a little Canadian. I don't plan on accumulating junk from any other countries. I appreciate your comment though!

    For us down here in NZ you would be shocked to learn the cost of junk silver here versus the cost of Fine silver is so close it's just better for us to get the .999
    Do you have any hand poured silver? I'm planning on starting to pour my own "Silver Art" as I like to call it.
    Great video my friend.

      Understandable not to stack it if the premiums are so high.
      Umm funny you should ask about poured silver art. Keep an eye out for my vid later 😉

    For me junk silver is the best option to get silver near to spot and I like the different coins you can get. I'm still waiting for an answer regarding our trade if you are still interested.

    Excellent video! Yes junk silver is worth picking up although i personally don't have much of it. In the u.s. it is LEGAL to melt u.s. junk silver. There is no way to know how much junk silver is actually left because of this. In theory the price of junk silver should rise due to it's possible scarcity in the future.

    • @Stacker-vr7je
      @Stacker-vr7je  4 года назад +1

      That's absolutely true. The more that get melted down, the rarer the coins become. Who knows, in 50 years Kennedy 1/2s might be super collectable!
