Now I have played many tycoon games from game dev tycoon to indie tycoon games like prison architect! With this great experience I can confirm that openttd is the best tycoon game!

Or in terms of trains, look for coal mines close enough to power stations, so that you can have a single spread-station both able to load and unload coal. And look for a similar spot somewhere on your map. That way, you can have trains loading at spread-station A, unload at spread-station B, then load up from there, and back to A, so your trains are always carrying cargo back and forth. :)
Works with any industry, coal is just good payoff.

You may notice this one evolve into Oh Boy Oh Buoy at 20:25. Finally, at 14:24 we have the Queen's Rear Passage, a place I would dearly love to visit myself.

Very good use of the Rollercoaster Tycoon engine, even though it's a different game, the UI and isometric view etc just makes me see RT. I do know it's by the same developer, but it's still all I can see.
i love when spiff breaks a game, all the games he breaks are his favorite of all times.

The other day I was looking at old Jschlatt videos and I saw Spiff had commented on a video of his on this same very game 3 years ago. Just sharing.
The funny thing is because he was rather tiddly from all the chrissy booze he made quite a few boo boos, like forgetting to make tram lines more than one way. Oh and forgetting all of south west London, which admittedly is probably rather easy to do.

This reminds me of a Workers and Resources Soviet Union exploit which I have no idea if it still works, not played the game in ages.
Basically you can keep people working 100% of the time, so your industries have 100% effiency, and you can skimp on public services because people are always at work.
Set up two bus stops by a single industry, tell half to goto work, and half to goto the other bus stop. Park a bus in each full time, and voila, eternal holding pen where people will walk between the buses indefinetly until they work. They can be in this holding pen for days and not teleport home.
Again, no idea if this still works, if it has been patched that is rather sad. It was a perfect method of staffing two to three industries in the same spot, by sending hundreds of people to a pair of bus stops that service the buildings.

on some servers i have seen train lines over the map from one end to the other for 500k per drop. coming in droves... but i guess on a small map like the one they played on 99k is quite a sum. just join the fullest servers to see what they create. its astonishing
@@nonzensy1554 also consider it was during the STARTING phase of the game... Long and high-value train lines and ship routes are common in this game, but not right off the bat. :-)

I mean, you can still work through it with enough attempts, but still, it's not really a one shot at that point.
The real spell that can kill tarasques is contagion slimy doom:
every time it takes damage, its stunned which is one of the only conditions that it is not immune to
it’s touch so it doesn’t instantly reflect
it would need to use all three of its legendary resistances to succeed
Its also a 5th level spell

@@thespiffingbrit I saw people reporting an even easier method where you loot some main char in one of the missions, save, load, repeat ez bzy 40k+ every 30s.
@@thespiffingbrit there is a exploit with a epic grenade mode you can craft. 1 common and 1 uncommon crafting components needed. 1 grenade is 264 eddies worth. It gets you around 600-700 thousand eddies an hour.
Cans are just the way to go when you are a low level char.

Gotta admit, I always figured Spif's videos involved a bit of after action narration, there's no way someone just talks like this while recording a game. I watched the 3 hour recording of the stream. And he really just talks the entire time except when listening to other people. It's quite impressive honestly.

In openTTD you dont even need to build trams. You can just link bus stops all over town with the docks or train stations using CTRL when placed. its a broken AF feature to funnel an entire city population into a single station on the outskirts of the city.
You instantly break any game using this..
You can tell you're dealing with an exploiter when their graph alternates between 10-100x times more than any other player and absolute 0 several times over
