I think Bill’s hilarious, but I appreciate his being so open about his anxiety. I suffer with it and people don’t realize that it’s more than being nervous. It’s immobilizing and affects your life to the point you become dysfunctional.
Exactly. It's not just feeling nervous. It's like the feeling of having a heart attack or being about to pass out.
My anxiety stopped me from going in to school. I haven’t been in for 3 weeks now. I can’t ride any forms of public transport and I can’t even go into a shopping mall without being on the verge of a panic attack. I can’t go on a walk and I can’t sit in a car for longer than 30 minutes. It’s stopped me from seeing my friends and doing things that I love and want to do. It’s absolutely terrible and the fact that people make it seem as if it isn’t anything really ticks me off. I wish I didn’t have to deal with it
SamFitz - It’s tough. There are those of us who know. Hopefully, you’re getting the support you need, even if it’s in the form of tele-health.
he's truly the cutest thing in history
I adore Bill Hader. There is no one like him.
I know. Even when he is he can make trash like Jim sound normal for a few.
when he said “when you’re in a bad relationship...” bill’s nervous laugh omfg
Oeh tell me more I'm curious!
@@grassrootsfilm He got a divorce last year
When did he say that?
Maggie Anne 2:48
Moet et Chandon oh shit 😅
Funny because he voiced Fear from Inside Out and Pennywise feeds off of fear
The Skeleton Twins is a great film! I implore everyone to watch it. Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig are fantastic together.
The lip sync part is my fac
Fav*
That was a great interview. The hosts added to the Hader's stories without talking over him. Very fun to watch.
IT 2: "It's"
Jim and Sam: but don't think you (loaded question)??
Bill: nooo...
also bill: y-yeah- no yeah no haha no yeah
Bill Nader speaking voice is so normal. But he he drops down into these bass noises that are incredible
Hader is a good guy and mega talented
He seems so nice and humble, friendly. He’s mega talented for sure as well.
Fleabag is one of the best shows ive seen in the last 5 years.
Okay but bill losing it at the where’s Rodney story has me dying
Bill Hader today is my favorite actor. He is insanely talented and so funny. On SNL he kills. I also LOVE Barry. He is just so talented. He is an amazing talent.
What's up with dat! What's up wit dat! What's up, what-is-uuUUUuppppp..... what is up with thaaaAaaaa-a-at
Bill is a master-class-comedian. In Germany not many people know him. I hope this might change with his appearance in IT Chapter 2 which alone is Oscar-worthy on so many levels...
I kinda feel sorry for Bill, because ever since he mentioned he got anxious on SNL, that's what EVERY interviewer asks him about nowadays. Like fuck, he hasn't even been on SNL for half a decade.
I'm sure it must be awkward and that's one of the reasons no one really wants to talk about mental disorders because you don't feel like talking about your trauma and pain ALL. THE. TIME. But he understands how sharing his experience can help other people feel less alienated. He is a champ.
Hes handsome, damn
A review I found online of Josh Brolin's SNL appearance from 2008:
"Fall Foliage: The pain, the pain… Just make it stop…
"
I need to see that sketch !!!
I love this guy, I’ll watch anything he’s pretty much in. He’s one of those actors you love to see in movies and shows, when he pops up in stuff. Seems pretty humble and down to earth. He’s such a funny guy too. Would love to shake his hand, seems pretty nice
YES!!! Atlanta and Fleabag are GREAT, but don't you sell Barry short, bruh!
hahahahahahahaah this interview is the same as the last one ! jesus boys thought you reposted it for a second
So happy to hear that Bill loves Fleabag that much. He's just the best.
My anxiety made me wanna pull that mic down like Jim's so bad...
I thought I was going crazy when I first listened but then I read the comments in here. Bill literally told the same stories from his last interview.
It's not his fault though, If they ask the same questions what is he supposed to do?
@@mayaenglish5424 Lie. If I was a celebrity I would make shit up left, right and centre. See what I could get away with.
@@brassholio lol, maybe, That might not work out so well in the long run for you though. Good luck.
Great comedian & actor! Love his work!
I have been a huge fan of Bill Hader since he first started on SNL. I’m so glad he is finally getting the recognition he deserves. He is one of the funniest and most talented actors to come from SNL in a long time. He seems so humble and complimentary of other actors. When he left SNL, I stopped watching.
Feel like he wore this shirt in like threethousand interviews😂👌 Not mad about it tho...🥰
I love how down to earth he is
Is has little mini keanu vibes
Norton gutter douche makes me feel human...wait, wtf?
26:13 Sam takes Bill’s advice on doing bits that bomb
I really like how he appeciates and notices how GREAT Fleabag & Atlanta is, and even takes some notes from them to improve(his show doesn't really need much improving its perfect) on his show. Hell yeah Bill.
I have the exact anxiety and had this same conversation about it today
It took years but I’ve really come to love Bill Hader
Excellent interviewer, great questions.
Bill Hader is so ridiculously talented. People know him now but I think he's going to be a legit Big Time name in the next couple years
This conversation was awesome!
Great guest but Im pretty sure a wall could create a more stimulating conversation than the questions that were asked. I’m pretty sure this was the same exact conversation that took place the last time he was in. They should to take notes from Hot Ones host or Joe Rogan.
Not Joe lol he's too stoned and derails the conversation to talk about gorillas or psychs literally every episode
You think Rogan is a good conversationalist?
So you don't think (depe inhale, 45 second snarky, rhetorical question) makes Sam a good interviewer? Oh...nooo? NYANYANYANYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
He is like, suuper nice guy
Sam will repeat something the guest JUST said and then regurgitate it into the form of a question. I get that he is there to keep the convo going but he just ruins it sometimes.
Bill Hader, "After you do SNL and it's so competitive, it just makes everything else seem easy." (or something along those lines)
Sam, "So is it like, after you do something like SNL, does it make everything else seem like so easy?"
Exactly
Yeah or when he just gives you the same example in a different way. "Its like after being in a bad relatio ship and then once youre in a good relationship all the little peoblems seem small in comparison to how bad the last one was." Yes Sam thats exactly what he just said. Thank you.
Lol they talked about the josh brolin bit and the fall foliage skit the last time he was their.
@25:34 you can see a very young Jay Thomas in the inset! Look up Jay Thomas, Lone Ranger joke.
#BillHader
as someone who just started standup, this interview is gold. The anxiety is so bad sometimes its just cool to hear real pros talk about it
I dont think it ever goes away you just learn to deal with it somehow.
Surely some of the SNL anxiety is offset by the fact that you don't have to be off book. And the only reason I know that is because the eyeline cheats are so obvious.
Pre-show nervousness is different to pre-show anxiety. The former is a little rush of adrenaline in anticipation of performance. But pre-show anxiety is the fear that you will fuck up because you're not prepared and you'll never get through it without failing. Anxiety is z precursor to stage fright.
Jim doesn't even get that the footsteps remark was more likely about the audience being too quiet than about the stage being too loud. Bill just rolls with it. lol
Right? Hes like yeah i hate it when the stage squeaks and the audience can hear it in the back... Im like him hes talking about bombing so hard they can hear footsteps not about a squeaky board rofl
He skipped a few words and bumbled through it but he obviously meant when his lines didn't go over well they (the audience) could hear the creak all the way at the back.
8===D ~
You know there's plenty of actual reasons to piss on Norton?
You pair of nitwits
Bill Hadar is Cute ♥️
Eww
The nervous exaggerated laughter from Jim and Sam makes me want to blow my brains out.
This could be an "interview" from any boring milquetoast morning radio/tv show. That's not what put O&A on the map, it was a hang where the guest became part of whatever discussion they happened to be having at the time.
Beat that dead horse
Yeah this needs mor- HOLD ON HOLD ON HOLD ON LET'S GO TO LADY TRUCKER
I hate saying this for someone whom I have never met nor know in any capacity BUT- Bill totally seems like the kind of guy that deserves all the success he's currently getting
Not friend from Big - that’s David Moscow - from Newsies ❤️
Take a shot everytime he says ”you know”
BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL
Uncle Paul is scarier than Pennywise.
GS Jim and Sam,Bill Hader 😂😂😂
Sam looks like Pennywise.
Does anyone have the fall foliage link
Why did this cut out? Where's the rest?
Get Anthony Carrigan on! It’s all about NoHo Hank, he’s like, really great guy! So nice!
@9:28
Why didn't the producer as Hader to lower his mic, as Sam's is?!
Marty Shorts like that
21:15
He’s baby
Being from the UK SNL isn't a thing but I have seen clips and he was funny as fuck. Terrible giggler, especially in The Californians, but just made it all the funnier.
I would have loved to ask him why Kristen Wiig wasn't cast as the adult Beverly Marsh in IT 2, because that girl from the first chapter looked exactly like I would think Kristen was looking as a teenager. Sarah Paulson would have also worked very well! Jessica Chastain doesn't bring the vibe for me so it could have been interesting to talk about that.
No, it should have been Amy Adams.
It could've been Elizabeth Olsen
@@fatima_hussein Nowhere near old enough.
Sam had the quarantine look down before it even happened
What a cutie
Jay thomas was great
Bills mic position is bothering me
Rostik Skobkariov
Sounds good to me. Visually it is a little funny.
People need to understand that most of these long format interviews are for podcasts or radio. The video is more of a behind the scenes thing they post along with the audio. It's like getting a free coke and complaining it has too much ice.
@@ModeratelyAmused but its not just a podcast. They record it and put it on the net....Its like giving an analogy and failing at it
Those mics are "end firing" but look like side-address, so he may be confused as to how to approach it.
@@paragon1017 It's a filmed podcast, this is bonus footage to the audio, the analogy with coke isn't that off at all. Plus, it's free.
I feel bad for his other show that got nominated. No one ever mentions it
Barry?
Brysonius Maximus probably talking about documentary now
@@MaddieM0 yep
23:57 Where's Rodney?
Hader's reaction is GOLD... And now that freaking song "where's Rodney" is in my head
Obviously nobody 'tried' Adrian Brody's 'drunk rastafarian' sketch.
Get Mike Judge on pls
Where's rooodneeyyy
Dude did Fartface really bomb? I thought it was great!
Love this guy. Apatow wolf pack for life
Just watched the Californians and then this, the Internet is on top of it's game
What's up with these uploads EXTREMELY late!?? I heard this on the radio like a month ago!!!
This was yesterday
Ya dawg, this was yesterday
@Breezy Mods He just told the same rape joke when he was on a month ago as well as yesterday. No, I'm not kidding.
New interview, Hader just repeated the same stories from his last visit. I'm sure they noticed & just tried to be polite.
And now you get to see it.
What's goin on maan?!
Who is the guy in the back with those amazing sleeves ?
rhymeandreasoning Gavin free
@@ChakasCave Thank you
Sam loves talking about his uncle Pennywise.
Another re-upload, y’all can skip this one if you’ve seen it.
Im pretty sure theyre just talking about the exact same shit as the last time he was on. I dont think its a literal repeat but it's pretty close lol
Yesssšš
Fall Foilage™
My boyfriend is so gorgeous am so lucky❤️
Tss.. who is his brother, Bill Lover???
Fawkin Home run!!
Tage Tageson *daddy like*
Tage Tageson His sister is Playa Hader.
Sam is visually becoming a Rob Zombie film. I’m sure he’d love that but it’s not a compliment
I don't like Sam but I can't figure out why.
How does sam Roberts look older than Jim Norton?
I think the beard and hair is the only thing keeping him from looking like a 75 year old man with dementia and a loss of bowel control.
Jim is also sober and health focused, I think. Physical health, that is.
"Going to the gym and eating better...."
Is this man successful? His he the greatest and nicest guys in the world? Is he funny and a genius? No! All we car about is his time on fucKING SNL
Bill tells the same story in successive interviews. #fallfoliage
they all do
@@Guntherthefool He's got HBO money. His assistant could keep track of it. The show could track it and give Bill a recap before going in the studio. I'm just sayin', this is a solvable problem.
Does he pronounce foliage correctly in ANY of them?
A cast member told my director she had to hide in the bathroom because my sketch triggered her. It was about a vantriliquist puppet who's being sexually abused by his puppeteer. I'm still not sure how to feel about that.
I miss uncle Paul :(
I actually like fart face skit, what a shame
Jesus Sam is hard to look at
He looks like a Klingon
He said he doesn't get jealous but in Haders Gonna Hade video, he mentioned that he hates his jealousy. Did he lie here?
It’s a repeat of their former shows.
no it isnt, similar title tho
What if a celebrity pitches a bad sketch? Have you watched SNL they're all bad sketches
OMG we get it he has anxiety, it’s great that he’s open to talking about it and that it helps people but can’t they go more in depth and not discuss the same talking points every interview???
Love this guy, Dwight was my favorite Office character
Bill is a Gemini, I think
@@RickR69 LMAO
The fall foilage....
