My favorite throne is actually the Shadow Throne in the Halls of Reflection. The Halls were Arthas’ personal quarters in ICC so it’s noteworthy that it looks like almost exactly like the Throne of Lordaeron.
The Winter Queen's throne pattern is just the rings of the tree. The blue bit on the Thunderlord's throne is a pelt, the 'feathers' are the napp of the fur.
Great list but I was expected #1 to be the gaming chair of the Warcraft addict from South Park. He's the most powerful individual in the Warcraft universe, so his throne is by definition the greatest of all thrones.
Tbh, this brings back memories. I stopped playing WoW a couple of years ago, but watching these... I remember seeing these thrones for the first time and being in such awe of them. I wish the game hadn't gone so downhill for me, personally.
Kinda surprised we didn't see Odyn's Throne on here, but I guess his is kinda standard looking. But he does the Thorim boredom pose too. Plus Odyn's a dick.

And not only did they mess it up, but they messed it up so bad the entire expansion (in my opinion) is an injustice to the world at large. The Jailer was to be this entity that is why Sylvannas was revived, and why she did things. And the "jailer" ended up being "boss number 7532." (i made that number up, it's an example).
seat of the primus is possibly the biggest throne. emperor thaurissan's dwarven throne is imo is better than the other dwarven thrones at the end of BRD. Halls of valor Odyn's throne was kinda nice. Garrosh had his own Throne at the end of siege of orgrimar.
Number 8 isn't a throne because, in the very definition you listed off, thrones are on top of an elevated position to show their higher power and authority over others. That throne is on the same level as the other chairs.

My number one throne is The Imperial Seat, in Blackrock Depths. Always loved the big room with council people leading up to it.

The throne in blackrock depths is pretty iconic, back in the day people were taking turns to sit on dagran's throne.

Stormwind has a pretty cool throne aswell with the golden lion decorations which also appeared in the Warcraft movie
