I'm glad you enjoyed it :), going to add to it in the future, but right now I just wanted to get it out there and overall i'm happy with it, but definitely a few edits I would like to add throughout
From what I gathered, Lordaeron didn’t find their call for help real due to Deathwing convincing the king that the threat wasn’t real as a way to make sure that SW would fall
this was peak Warcraft for me. Alliance vs Horde, good vs bad, protectors vs invaders. i miss this. at its beginning WoW was about the faction war. Turning the Horde, who destroy everything in their path into the "good" guys, the noble savages, was a mistake imo. great vid. For the Alliance!!!!!
For the Horde ;) I've loved Warcraft from the first time I booted up Orcs vs Humans. Always been a fan of the Horde, nothing will ever beat old school Southshore Vs Tareen Mill :D
They aren't presented as wholly good. It's about them cleaving a path for prosperity regardless of how much they deserved too, they NEEDED too to survive. There are MANY morally dubious quests in Classic especially on the forsaken side. The whole new good horde thing wasnt really cemented until Wrath and post mists. Wrath had the Horde acting just as heroically as the Alliance, but Cata and Mists make a clear divide between the "Old Horde" and "New Horde" with Garrosh doing his thing. But Classic represents it as a pretty realistic take on the whole thing. Trolls and Tauren aren't evil, and the Trolls and Humans had been killing each other for thousands of years already. The story is very morally gray and it started with WC3.....
Imagine instead of making a 2 hour movie for $160 mil, they made 10 episode series for $5mil/episode. Being able to share assets across production, right away having budget to lock in 4 seasons and tell the first 4 big storylines. 10 hours for character development instead of cramming everything into 2 hours even exhausting people who already know the story. With correct pacing and guaranteed commitment, both satisfying existing fans and welcoming the world to new fans. Dozens of storylines ready to expand or create mini-series spin-offs. Nope. Just use it as another way to exploit the fanbase and then fuck off.
I’d always hoped they would do some sort of series using their in-game cinematic footage or even some sort of animated deal. Never fully understood why since they have the artists and voice actors and everything. I’d get far too excited too see that if they did it
@@scrollsofazeroth Despite how Halo went which should have been movies instead of a series, Microsoft does show some interest with others like The last of us and Fallout showing success. There is still hope. It's also the highest grossing fantasy universe in the world. It would stomp lotr and potter if it expanded to other media than games. If only executives earning millions would understand an action game needs a movie and a game with story needs a series. Probably a lot will depend on A Minecraft movie working or failing.
This is awesome as usual!
Thanks!
Amazing as usual
