- We didn't have the best luck at Great Adventure, as most rides that we waited for broke at one point or another, leading to a frustrating visit. The rain later that afternoon didn't help either...

Day 1 of wanting the Silver Ticket Awards to come back.
Day 1 of asking for Coaster Studios want to frick off OofinTic
But silver ticket awards was no longer upload... sorry you're privated
What if the rides were actually open but Taylor was hallucinating from lack of sleep and was having a nightmare
that'd be a weird twist ending...

Someone is having a Six Flags day.
What a bummer that so many rides were closed. 😣 Fun fact: I’ve always been a coaster enthusiast so my kids were all introduced early to them. Last year, we went to SFGA and my youngest daughter, who was 9, was actually tall enough to ride all of the coasters. She was so tired of being the only one who couldn’t ride so she was excited to ride them all. The one I was worried about was KK so I told her if she could handle Nitro, I’d let her ride KK. 😏 Well, not only did she handle Nitro, she LOVED IT so we headed over to KK. We were next in line and it broke down!! She was so bummed so we decided to wait it out and after about 15 minutes, it was up and running again. She had a blast!!
Awww I was terrified of coasters at her age!
@@boardwalker1997 me too!!
@leela no one but hopefully my comment will help other parents not be so scared to allow their kids to ride these larger coasters. The younger they can ride, the better as long as they are safe and fit the weight and height of the ride.
@雪間 yukima and youre prob a 13 yo
I think I put you on Skull Mountain!
On another note, yes the slow dispatches are due to short staffing on spring break lol, we're hoping it gets better as schools get out.
I’ve got to say, you are a class act. Being completely sleep deprived and face with so many disappointments, you did a good job keeping a great attitude and not hating on the park. I’ve been in that exact situation and it can be tough. There is a reason I avoid parks early in the season. LOL.
Thank you. I try to always look on the positive side of things and try to understand what the reason is for us not having the “perfect day” and look at what would’ve made it better. It’s not always in our control (aka, weather), and there’s nothing the park can do about that. It just happens sometimes!
Title: Everything's Broken at Six Flags Great Adventure
Me: Ok, so what's new?
That’s to funny😂😂😂😂😂😆😆😆😆
Things are usually not broken though
The idea of just not sleeping does come across our minds from time to time
I love his mindset. It's a great experience to play with sleep deprivation done it with kings dominion and busch Gardens
Being at a theme park where everything is closed is how sleep paralysis must feel for an enthusiast
Ka will forever be in my top 10. Rode it opening day,7th train & literally grew up with that ride in my backyard. 🥃🦁
I really wanna see a Jersey Devil POV, that animation looks sooooo speedy, wonder if it's just as forceful as it seems.
“Really good airtime, really ejector” 😂
I went to GAdv on opening day and besides El Toro not running we surprisingly didn't encounter many ride closures. The dispatches were very slow overall though
taylor: this ride is stupi-
runaway minetrain: *YOU UNDERSTIMATE THE POWER OF THE MINE TRAIN*
I waited in line for Kingda Ka on four different occasions in 2020, only to have it close when I was near the loading platform. I *finally* got to ride it in September.
I came to the park the same day u were there and the main reason why operations were so terrible was because they weren’t allowed to run the trains unless everyone had their mask on, which some people had problems with.
I can believe that
Why if they don't wear a mask six flags should kick them out of the ride
Some people gotta ruin it for everyone
@@staringcorgi6475 i think you meant out of the park lol
@@Nick-dq5zn yeah
You don’t even wanna know how many times I pulled an all nighter. And one of those times was the day before I went to the Great America. I didn’t even scream on the coasters, I just sat there with a straight face
Tired and amusement parks don’t mix. You need that BLOOD FLOW
@@scottyjbd I've noticed the less sleep I get, the less I feel airtime, hangtime etc..
@@koalakyle19 I used to smoke a lot of marijuana and it always dulled the experience. It slows heart rate/blow flow. You want CAFFIENNE at the very most!
@@scottyjbd I’ve found roller coasters usually kill my high when I smoke. I wouldn’t say it fulls my experience but it’s not really practical to smoke before each ride.
@@HiCaballo that makes perfect sense. You don’t want your heart racing or blood pumping, it just helps to pass the high. Though if you’re REALLY stoned, the G’s could make you blackout
I just hear a awwwwh when Taylor said Sarah lol
The energy from Taylor is infectious.
First, love to see the video about my home park, but sadly a lot was broken. El toro is open now too
I grew up with GA in my back yard, worked at the park from 92 to 98. 75% of thier staff are high school students. For that reason it always has a slow start at the beginning of the year.
I went last week, el toro was closed, so I went again on Thursday that ride’s a beast.
It is funny you mentioned that about their mine train as the scariest head chopper moment in my life is on Cedar Creek Mine Ride at the end of the final helix. Just when things are being extremely tame... THEN BAM! It makes it even more shocking!
It is an underrated moment but the rest of the ride is ok.
8:37 the people in the background wondering what’s going on right now
They are understaffed. It seems as though that’s a New Jersey thing in general for parks
My very first ride on twisted cyclone went like how close you cut it with kingda ka. Literally pulled into the station and it went down.
I went the first Monday it was open and got great rides on almost everything, I even got to see a rollback on Kingda Ka while i was in line
Happened to me last year! First day the power was out and nothing ran. Second day was better though! Weird park and good rides when they run
I was there 2 days ago and the rides weren't down. Nitro went down briefly and king da ka went down for an hour for tests. It was pretty crowded with super long waits though.
I am soooo excited for Jersey Devil!
That really sucks 😖 I was at the park like literally one day before you and everything was open except for Bizarro
At least you got to see cheetah hunt😂
I remember they used to have a shuttle bus for their employees from the Philly area years and years ago so they’d have enough staff.
I went last week and my experience was well... awful. The only ride I truly wanted to ride was bizarro and el toro, yet they were both closed the entire day
El Toro was closed on opening day and that sucked since I hadn’t ridden it in a long time. I hope it’s open next time I go.
We came the first Monday after opening with ridiculous winds in the morning. The first big coaster to open was GL like a good 45 minutes after opening. One train operations on pretty much everything except for Nitro which had 3 that stacked and had us on the brake run for a few minutes, it also started running like 3 hours after opening. Waited like an hour with one train operations for Bizzaro, the longest line of the day besides superman which we waited until the end of the day to ride. Also, 10-minute operations on Wonder Woman? Our salvation was a front-row ride on kingda ka, which I had never ridden before, and because it's been 3 years since I've ridden dragster, it was an absolutely incredible experience. But at least Batman was consistent.
When you meant everything was broken, you meant everything, even the rain was broken cause it was way colder than it should of been.
The rain is sad.
heyyy my home park what a great showing lol
I was here in April during there night event & I was so happy el toro was open. I love that ride but I definitely save it for last because I’m usually sore after. I went back last week & el toro was closed I heard it came off the tracks recently
Taylor, have you seen that Monster at Grona Lund is now running! Off topic, sorry, I'm just excited :)
Well compared to my recent experiences at this park you guys had a mildly better than average day at this place 🙃
taylor got really unlucky...we went to kingda ka at about 1015 that day.. it was running and it was basically a walk on ...went on it 4 times then saw taylor and crew walking towards it probably around 11 am...and it must of went down for maintenance right as he got there
right as we walked into the queue it broke down lol
Went there last week. It rained in the morning. Bizarro was running great, hit mine Train for the credit.... Holy cow what a rough horrible ride
I watched a video of another coaster enthusiasts and he went to here and toro was not open and I watched your Friday night live stream and when I saw his video I was like ohh nooo cause I knew It wasn’t going to be open I guess your luck really is like that sorry Taylor but it’s always a good day when you post but just imagine iron gwazi opens tomorrow😂
Glad you noticed the runaway mine train ejector hill haha
Did you have to make a reservation? When I go on the website to make a reservation in May everything is greyed out i’m confused.
We did have to reserve a spot, yes
When I went, El Toro, Kingda Ka, and Bizarro were closed. I am yet to ride any of those. Sorry you didn't have a great time.
Kingda Ka being down isn’t too surprising because it’s infamous for that. Bizzaro has the occasional downtime but not as bad as Kingda Ka. Every trip to Great Adventure I’ve been on except for the latest one, El Toro was up and running the entire day. On my latest trip during Hollowfest in October, El Toro was down most of the day, they did test runs with dummies but that was it. Finally reopened towards the end of the night and I got my first night ride on El Toro, it was amazing
Bazarro is Madusa 2.0 only kinda the same lay out and not to mention that little corkscrew loop above the sign that they still use
I was there opening weekend and the dispatch times are horrible! Hope it gets better
10:03 How did you ride Kingda Ka 20 times in one day? Did you have to take advil? The ride isn’t that rough but was your head able to withstand the slight rattle as nothing? How on earth? I could maybe 4 times?
we got used to it after a while and it didn't bother us. We were so determined to get a rollback that we didn't care the price we had to pay
I just came for the Sarah nitro burn. Thanks Taylor, you did not dissapoint.
They’re very understaffed. They flew in Fiesta Texas ride ops and hired a bunch of temporary security. It was weird seeing all the fiesta Texas ride ops in our hotel.
Damn Fiesta Texas? Surely it would’ve been cheaper to get staff from Darian Lake, Great Escape, New England and America
They have temporary ops from almost every park
This is like the definition of a #sixflagsday... can't be good for the company that we all know what that represents!
I went opening day and el toro was closed. everytime I go a ride always gets stuck
El Toro was closed during my visit and it sucked
Ops were bad during spring break, and Bizzaro had a 5-7 minute dispatch
I also sat on the brake run on Batman for at least 5 minutes too
This is my Homepark but I’ve never seen it like this lmao
I’m gonna be in NYC next week. Trying to figure out a way to take a quick visit to SFGA.
You’ve got about a hour and a half to two plus hours depending on traffic and where you’re coming from. Also expect to pay a lot in tolls
@@therock238360 I won’t be driving LOL no way in hell am I driving there. I’m flying in early Thursday morning so if I do get lucky and have the time and money I’d take a bus.
Some day I'll go to this park and I would be pretty sad if these many rides were closed, but I know it happens
12:02 is it just me or is Green Lantern absolutely hauling from the rain, just look how fast it's running.
ur right like i said it was HAULING.. so underrated
@@peterschwab5259 hi peter
Seems like Nitro is the only one that's always open.
Definitely not a complaint though love that ride
That's why B&M are so reliable
Bruh that suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. I've only visited this park one time. In 2019. I was honestly blown away by how much i enjoyed this park. And i live literally right between cedar point and Kings island. almost middle ground. Would love to make it back there again.
Man I hope that jersey devil opens up in may
Absolutely crazy... Park customer relations would be hearing me for sure. You want a park open then open the park with full staff...... No excuse.....
Lots of excuses. Most staff are temporary and out of state/country apparently. Covid kinda killed that 🤷♀️
@@VyDovah Absolutely right "LOTS OF EXCUSES" but as a paying customer I do not care about their problems, I expect a certain level of service which includes not being greeted by closed attractions.
hi and welcome to Six Flags Always Broken Rides.
Its my boy Taylor! Been here since '17
Great Adventure seriously needs to update the Runaway Train so that adults can actually fit in it. A Big Thunder Mountain type upgrade to the track and trains would be perfect.
I had the same frustration at six flags over Texas many rides broke down more than once
Didn't watch the whole thing yet, but I was here on the 8th and they were triple stacking trains on Nitro.. :/ everything else was either a 5 min wait or walk on but I sat in the Nitro line for about an hour because of their ops. Not sure if that's usually what they do as there is a mid course on the ride but everything else was fine for me.
Same as the stacking at Batman, it's because of short staffing. When schools start to let out and more people are available to work, coasters will have enough employees to put on a grouper and speed up dispatches.
Can top thrill dragster and King da ka actually get stuck on the top ever?
I was there a few days ago and marathoned half the rides including kingda ka with my friend
9:30 What does LROTNOKK mean?
Imma try: Last Ride On The Non-Operating Kinga Ka (?)
Last Ride Of The Night On Kingda Ka; it's in one of their videos about coaster enthusiast slang
When I went El toro opened for the first time for the season
i wanna go to great adventure sometime this month, but el toro being closed is such a bummer :/
It's open now as of this week!
@@Robchacha omg really? the website still says it’s down but fingers crossed ✌️
@@julianalicciardi yup I just rode it on tuesday
i went opening day i feel your pain with everything breaking 😂 nitro got stuck in the same spot twice in 5 minutes
I only like Green Lantern in the front. The rest of it hurts my head so bad. Nitro at night is the best. It’s pitch black in the back. I went the first day it opened this year and got on 8 coasters and Womder Woman.
11:28 Oh the Green Lantern. I still remembered as Chang from Kentucky kingdom. That ride gets too much hate certain people needs to don't hate, enjoy it.
You're so lucky that your parks are open
idk what's worse: you going to all these parks and seeing all these (opened and to be opened) attractions closed like iron gwazy, pantheon, el toro, jersey devil etc,
or me who lives in belgium where every themepark is closed and you can't travel to other country's haha
If I don’t sleep between theme parks, I’d die on a roller coaster and be buried there. Which would be sweet, but I still have more parks to visit 🤣.
Also, sounds like you’ve had another Six Flags Day. How many is that this year alone?
I went there on spring break geroriga scorcher and scream machine were down
The 2 best rides
Strange day for you for sure.
As for Batman; strange to hear it stacking. Usually dispatches for B&M Inverts are quick (I still recall that video you did on ride dispatch times for Cedar Point where Raptor dispatched in 50 seconds!). And those corkscrews on the Batman clones are intense.
Whenever I get to Great Adventure, Batman always seems to have a longer line than the other rides there (Superman is usually a longer wait because it’s a flying coaster). It’s worse on a hot day because you have to wait in the stairwell
As someone who works Batman, I want to let you know that the stacking is, as Taylor guessed, due to short staffing, with the attendant also taking on grouper responsibilities. It's no one's fault, but just wanted to let you know.
Six Flags Great Adventure is trying to get lapbars on KK but the State of NJ needs to approved it
had a similiar experience this year at busche gardens in Tampa. you pay good money to be able to go on all these rides and none of.them end up operating. some serious discounts should be available when you expect to have a good day at the park just to waste time for nothing to be open...
You should make something for us to be able to to track you! I was there Thursday!
Everything closed at six flags that is so classic sick flags
You know its a good video when you hear open gangham style and dont stop believing in the same video
Same when I go to six flags over texas everything broken
Will you do a el toro review as soon as you get to ride it?
I reviewed El Toro years ago, but I am looking to do an updated review. I will post that following the next time I'm able to get on it
They are extremely under staffed i may not be going again this year. They need to get there sh*t together. 💯
Not their fault people won't go back to work!!!! Most of the fast food joints in my area close early or open late because people won't go back to work. All have now hiring signs up.
@@281sTravel nah it kinda is the company’s fault for not paying enough
I'm making my first visit in May & hope they get their sh!t together before then.
LOL, I was at first Texas and almost everything thing was closed
When I rode the twix I didn’t flip. I was actually relieved.
Just went last weekend bizzaro and nitro was closed everything else was open
six flags coasters always look rusted to hell and faded when i pay close attention to them
Only bizzaro was closed Friday, Superman was shut down most of the day but some people went on it (not me). The gp loves the joker here for no reason no matter how bad it is and how much it’s closed. Kingda ka and zoominjaro was even open Friday (first ride of both, it took me long enough) come back in like May-July there will be shorter waits and most rides open every day, plus jersry devil will prolly be open by july
My first time in SFGA was terrible, Kinda Ka stopped working after 1h waiting, then El Toro stopped working after 1 1/2h waiting, Nitro was packed, I just gave up and told myself that I would never come back... then I've been there many times😬. I truly have a love/hate relationship with this park. Kinda sucks driving 4h from VA to have all the great rides closed. I wish six flags America was better. That park needs something new and not a pendulum precisely.
Lol I lowkey feel bad for the animal (lemur?) just chilling in his tiny cage at 2:33
COASTERSTUDIOS IS A BABA BOOEY!!!!!!!!
This is why i haven’t been to a six flags in a few years
Never thought I'd see El Toro be SBNO. 😭
