Play the 7 string for a couple of months, and when you pick up a 6 string again you'll be like "why so small?" - the neck feels SO thin, I instantly start putting your thumb over and everything 🤣 A friend of mine is a big 8 string enthusiast (his first guitar was an 8 string when he was like 8, and for years he knew nothing but an 8 string lmfao), and he feels the same with the 7 string, when he picks up a 6 string you can see he's uncomfortable (his hands are HUMONGOUS tho, with very thin fingers, bro is anatomically perfect for this shit and I guess it helps this feeling too 🤣). Extended range guitars are freaking amazing, and learning chords on it is very cool to give you a very distinguishing sound, inverting chords for arpeggios is my favorite thing on a 7 and 8 string - hope you're having fun with it 👏

What if I had a real song that does compare to you’re it’s not that hard at first?
