Yes; among many other reasons, two might be that most omnivorous people nowadays consume very poorly, industrially raised animals and just eat muscle meat instead of eating 'nose to tail'.

This has helped me so much, thank you! I have been struggling with wanting to be fully raw, feeling guilty for eating some quinoa or beans. I am almost 53. So get that our bodies change in this phase of life. I think I can get out of my head now and focus less on labels and where I “fit”.

Thank you Angela that’s great Me too I am 46 soon to be 47 in Jan & even when I was 41 my body feels completely different now I feel like I love the benefits of the raw diet though I am now including whole food pal tn based cooked food too & it really has helped me I still advocate for raw foods being the best for our health. I could never move to completely cooked food vegan & I only have it at my evening meal I think we have to feel great & be healthy that is the important thing especially with hormonal changes

Always open to more information. I love beans and legumes. Ive been sprouting lentils last few days but had decided to cook them tomorrow before I watched this. My body goes through phases where I love eating the majority raw, but then it wants more cooked. Other days I crave a little more fruit.

Good interview. I enjoyed Dr. Areli's input. Our ancestores had no internet to tell them how many grams of protein they need. They just ate the food they found around them. There are many healthy Frutarians who never worry about their protein or any other nutrients. I, for one, refuse to measure macro and micro nutrients and everything I put in my mouth. I feel that many of us have simply lost the ability to eat intuitively. One should be able to tune in and seek out whatever kind of food the body craves and needs in the moment. More oil, eat an avocado. More protein, eat some nuts, etc...

I really appreciate this discussion, Eva, thank you!
Dr Areli is very balanced in her view of health and gives much wonderful, well-spoken advice. Her explanation of 'mucoid plaque' is particularly interesting to me, and makes me even more confused as to my own particular case.
(TMI warning!) Visibly pathogenic or toxic matter has come out of me during focused intestinal cleanses, juice fasting, periods of just eating fruit and also just eating a majority raw whole-foods focussed diet with necessary supplementation and sufficient pure water (separate from my stools). I still expel it now on a whole-foods diet. It has looked like black rubber, thick brown mucus, stringy white mucus, thick white glue, 'foam' orange or yellow mucus or thick jelly, burning orange or yellow liquid. It often smells vile (like old rotting sewage or even like chemicals), appears 'active' in the toilet bowl and causes temporary (sometimes very uncomfortable) symptoms on it's way out. Removing this matter has been the only thing to improve my health (I tried A LOT).
The FMP I currently work with is also a certified medical Dr and she is baffled, but based on all the knowledge I can provide about my health history and current issues and symptoms, she feels that it is the body detoxifying unwanted matter. This is certainly the only conclusion I can come up with.
There seemed to me to be a slight contradiction when the Dr acknowledged that inflammatory foods etc can produce mucus and biofilm, which is interpreted as mucoid plaque by certain practitioners, but then said in the following sentence that mucoid plaque (biofilm etc) does not exist. She did then go on to say that some of what comes out can be mucus caused by pathogenic bacteria, but that it is nothing that wouldn't be normally and more-or-less invisibly excreted with stool (if I understood her correctly). However, given my own case it is clear that this this is not the full story of what some people are experiencing. I think it is feasible that not every sick person has the same level of congestion in the colon. I think there are many variables to consider.
But I don't know... it really is baffling! All I can say is that for some people, it seems actual congestion of the gut truly does exist. I just wish we knew more!
    Warmest wishes,
    Suzie 💗

Hi Eva!! Awesome video!! I also eat a lot of beans on my salad as well !! I wanted to tell you that i saw mucoid plaque come out of me with my own eyes during a colonic while on a short juice fast . I was shocked !! I couldnt believe my eyes. I did an 11 day juice fast and on day 9 and 11 i saw it come out. So on day 9 i huge chunk of it about a little over a foot long. It DOES not look like fecal matter. I saw a lot of poop or old fecal matter come out but This looked totally different. It has the shape of a Colon its very substantial and thick , its much bigger than fecal matter and doesnt break apart as much, its like this huge rubbery film that has hardened. On Day 10 of my colonic nothing else came out and then the next day i did my 3rd colonic it was Day 11 of my juice fast more Mucoid plaque came out but this time it was smaller and thinner than the first day but much longer, it looks like old mucus that is stringy and rubbery and stuck together . Im telling you its real, i saw it with my own eyes come out of me during the Colonic. I dont know why people who are juice fasting go so long when all they need to do is juice fast while doing a series of colonics until it comes out. I may have more in me , im not sure but i plan on doing another juice fast with colonic in the future to see. But ya , i was so much less bloated after that first day you wouldnt believe !!

I agree with Dr. Areli’s comments that, when done to the extreme, pursuit of the detoxification pathway to “ascension” can easily become a slippery slope to no return. Orthorexia is a very real condition and is easily disguised in the name of seeking superior health.

Gosh I loved her Sharing insight & truth about mucoid plaque and especially bc of her background of cutting deceased people open- common every day people who eat junk !!!
Now I do wonder what they find in there ? Like does meat actually stay lodged & is rotting in the colon ? I’d love to hear more about what she’s seen .

Thank you Eva for great questions, and Dr. Areli for very insightful, balanced and honest answers. While listening, I had so many comments, but I'll skip all of those and only comment regarding the protein which seems to be a reason for Dr. Areli to venture into cooked territory, so...
Buckwheat sprouts are a sublime source of complete protein (13g/100g) which taste neutral or slightly nutty and fit great in smoothies, and Mung bean sprouts (25g/100g) fit well in salads.
With 3 smoothies a day incorporating fruit, sprouts, greens and some fats (or 2 smoothies + 1 salad) you can easily have 4500cal with more than 120g of protein, while still maintaining 80/10/10 and covering or exceeding all vitamins/minerals RDA's.
What I'd like to hear at your next video with Dr. Areli is something I'm trying to understand deeper for a long time, and that is food combining.
    Thank you! 🍀🌈🥭

4 lbs of kale provides 60 grams of protein and is less than 1,000 calories. Not saying that you want to eat that much kale in a day, only that it's easy to get sufficient protein on a raw diet without processed powders.

Great talk. Thank you. I would add this, though: I definitely agree that any vegan diet should be well planned out and supplemented as necessary. However, many of my patients are full on meat eaters, basically omnivores trending towards the standard American diet and many of them have deficiencies in both vitamin B 12 and vitamin D. I wanted to add that its not always coming out like she said and we dont notice, my colonics lady showed me pictures of one of her clients that did short juice cleanses and many many colonics, one day mucoid plaque came out in her toilet, it was like a 2.5 food long rubbery snake with bulbs sticking out, we would notice that in our toilet bowl. Its reall and some people have a bigger plaque than others but ya its real and you do need to get that out of you if you want to be completely clean. Theres no way it can be mistaken for regular poop that goes unnoticed in the toilet

This doctor has some valid points, however I feel there are always shortcomings when talking to medical "experts" as some lack the spiritual depths and understanding of what it means to be human and through their training are too caught up in appearances in the "material" external world through scientific study.
It's safe to say that our digestive system is comparitively almost identical to that of apes and chimps, but whether we should compare our behaviours to them or see them as role models to follow, such as chimps hunting meat or eating insects, is up for questioning.
Because the whole part of being human, is being a species that comparitively to animals is more intellectually evolved, with the capacity to make logical rational and ethical decisions based on our food choices.
When we compare behaviours to animals, saying they seem to display traits of hunting so maybe we or are omnivours, is putting ourselves in animal consciousness.
We are beyond animals, we are HUMAN and with a greater conscious and intellectual capacity comes greater responsibilities for our actions and the stewardship of this earth. Yes we may physically appear to be biologically similiar to that of apes but doesn't mean our behaviours follow.
I appreciate this woman's perspective as its nice to see those in the medical industry open up, but I still see her spiritual immaturity when it comes to knowledge, and understanding of deeper energetic perspectives regarding nourishment as it goes so much further than just food.
    Bless ❤

It’s still a trial stage 😊 so we need to come back on this subject in a few years 😂
we all need to see what is best long term and maybe we don’t have all the answers?
I ALWAYS liked to pair my fruit with tons of greens and I definitely eat around 400 to 500g of greens per day (I am raw vegan for more than 10 y) Lots of herbs and sprouted lentils. I don’t know exactly where are my macros but it’s still very low fat but definitely high in minerals and probably protein too. My digestion is very very sensitive so I need to chose wisely what I eat. I feel much better low fat and no or very little cooked foods. I feel like few women do well on a really fruit based diets… high greens or more fat and some legumes is more balanced
I like medical medium point of view too. Bot scientific but I’ve seen huge improvements with CJ and more greens.

We actually do have some examples of people who have been on this type diet for a very long time. The die at the same rate, roughly, as everyone else pretty much. Where are the very long term old fruitarians? Dead. The only exception is Dr Fred Bisci, who is 93. But then again he’s not fruitarian. Also, there are other healthy and thriving 93 year olds who are not raw vegans or fruitarians.

The take on mucoid plaque seems logical to me. What about the dr Morse claim that when ppl get hydrated, they start excreting that cellular metabolic waste via urine in for of white fluffy sediment that drs calls "inflamation of bladder" or any other thing? Its like the second pillar of natural hygiene. And it is very logical to me. But my ears are open to words of anyone including mainstream or not doctors?

@@EvaTheRawFoodCoach Ok cool, thanks. Id like to reitarate my question so it better addresses what I mean:
"What about dr Morse claim that when people get hydrated on raw vegan diet and their kidneys regain their proper working capacity they start excreting white fluffy cloudy residue that is supposed to be a combination of cellular metabolic waste (cells poop) and dead cell debris, unusable proteins and other type of waste? If so, when cells poop, what is the process called and what their poop constitues of? Is it during krebs cycle and the right side of official equation is missing something or is it other proces?
      So to sum it up:
      1) Do cells poop and if so, what do they poop and during what process?
      2) Does the poop, along other waste matter gets excreted as white sediment in urine and should we strive to get urine with sediment which is opposite of what medical community proposes?"
Hope its not too long, if so, perhaps just ask the summary. But imho its an important question that didnt get properly addressed by both medical community and raw vegan community.

She is failing to answer the question at @9:53. An omnivore diet that stays away from processed food is the perfect diet and not a vegan diet. The carnivore diet is too young to speak on. She did not want to admit that a vegan diet is always deficient in many essential nutrients and can never be a healthy diet. I get everything I need on my Hypercarnivore diet and do not need supplements or am I consuming too many natural nutrients. I find it worrying when ppl promote a vegan diet that demonizes meat and dairy, yet think it is healthy to take supplements made in a lab to help with deficiencies that can be fixed by meat and/or dairy.

Calories are determined in a lab by burning food items. We are not incinerating machines. Thus calories are irrelevant for us and any living organism. Let alone that the law of thermodynamics does not really an open system like a living organism where the metabolism can be raised or lowered by hormones starting with the brain + the mitochondria (the actual factories that make ATP and all of our consciousness or at least the connection with the Universe like the midiclorians a.k.a George Lucas. Energy input and output can vary greatly because of just the interaction with the environment, the state of mind / emotions and the type of nutrients not their "calories". Also, Markus and Cara are fake in so many ways and promote their trend of veganism to sell all those products ...
