      @@groblezep5548 Death Growls are crazy like that because they're essentially an alternate use of your vocal cords. They have vocal qualities, but they're not really coming from the person's voice the way a scream or singing does. So you can be a really soft-spoken person with a fairly wispy voice, but if you do your growls right you'll sound like a 10-ton pig monster from the depths of Hell no matter how you sound normally.

    Me and a group of friends drove all the way from PA to see this show. Thanks to the band Max Volume Silence for immortalizing this awesome performance.

    Man, when I saw these guys in New Zealand I ended up getting stabbed with glass during the second song cause the mosh got too rowdy and old mate got shoved into my shoulder blade with a glass of booze. Getting stitches and a X-ray in A&E at 2am? Beyond worth it

    Yesterday night I got into this band. And I'm addicted to it. When they play slow as putrified death or sickness growing is when they achieve their peak. It's a hatred despair music that fits 100% to our time.

    One of my new "favorite bands". I looked up other projects from Ethan McCarthy and was not disappointed. This is how I imagined Doom Metal in 1990 when I heard Cathedral was the slowest band around.

      @@ClintListing Yes I suppose they are more of a Death Grind Type of band. They do have their slower tempos. As for PRIMITIVE MAN I actually don't think they even fit into a genre...it's just great extreme music.

    I'm not a newbie to listening to the countless variation of doom metal, but I never heard of these guys until very recently in a Facebook doom/sludge group. I took their entire discography to listen in 3 days and I must confess that due to the exaggeration of noise ambience used in most of their material, especially the very annoying amplifier distortions in every single start of a song, I got some migraine and "Caustic" came to be the only thing that really appealed to me. They've got visceral talent and potential and that album stands out as a pretty much diverse effort inside the whole genre. I'd love to hear more of them like that.
