DUDE! You’re a year early man!!!
Good to see this finally come to an end.
Perhaps next you could do Canterbury city centre or a more interesting place, the whole of Westminster city, the disappearance of the river tyburn is a tragedy, as well as Whitehall palace, holbein gate and the monastery that used to sit there.
I want to do a smaller vid around other London fortifications but then history of Westminster (palace, abbey and maybe Whitehall and Buckingham palace) would be my dream. Sounds like a big task though!
I would love to see other 3D animations of other castles that had evolved throughout the century..
The modern global skyscrapers really feel like a blight on the architectural individuality of London.. Great job putting the entire physical history of London to light with these videos
It's fascinating how many fortifications, ramparts, walls and towers and other buildings came and went.
How did it take about 1.5 years for the 3rd part to come out but less than 3 weeks for the 4th to come out?
Maybe he has a life outside of RUclips?
@@Deaniebx It wasnt anything against him, just a simple question
Probably made them at the same time
I wasn’t getting many views in the beginning so stopped doing it for a while. Found a new motivation recently
@@reconstructor3068 amazing job. Have loved watching these
Wonderful video series! Thank you!
Finally! The years worth waiting has paid off
he'll make part five in 200 years to update the series
This has been an awesome series and clearly a labor of love. Thank you for undertaking it.
No way we got part 4 so quickly! Thanks man!
Very interesting
I've long awaited this series to be completed, and you did great
This was bloody fantastic! I had no idea the scale of how much was demolished, changed, rebuilt. What an emotional rollercoaster it was seeing some incredible architectural buildings demolished but then nicer ones constructed in its place. Seeing it explained and demonstrated visually like this was brilliant! I think I need to book a trip to the tower soon
As someone from Liverpool I would love it if you covered the history of the Liverpool docks and waterfront. There was a castle called "Liverpool Castle" located where "Castle Street" stands today.
ReConstructor, your work is brilliant. I know it takes a lot to do something like this. Not just the animation but the research and scripting. Well done, it's fantastic. You deserve a huge audience. Don't give up. Keep going.
And here I was preparing to wait for a year.
I would like to see the history of:
*New Amsterdam to now
*Liberty Island
*Central Park
*St. Paul's Cathedral
*Abbey Cathedral and Big Ben Hall
*Notre Dame Cathedral
*Forbidden City
*Temple of Heaven
nice to see this finally finished. Great channel, keep up the good work
After a long journey watching this series of videos, it's good to see the end.
Yessssss I was waiting with bated breath for part 4!
Can’t wait for part 5! The Future of London Bridge!
Nice video. It would be interesting if you made an animated history of Buckingham palace. You have a new subscriber. Hope you keep up the good work.
well done, it's clearly been labour of love getting through this project!
It was great series! thank you
Really appreciate this style of video! The quality and attention to detail are very impressive. I would love to know if you intend to do more of these for other famous castles/palaces...?
I didn't realise quite how extensive the Victorian Neo-Gothic modifications were!
Yes alao glad to see a Part 4. As i was wondering when Tower Bridge was built.
The only thing i wish that was explained, was why each building was occasionally demolished. I assume there isnt much information of it.
You are right, there is not much information about every single building that was torn down, however, most often than not, the reasons were due to their condition, or change in fashion. Especially the clearance in 19th century was mostly due to wanting to reinstate the castle to its medieval state as much as possible, rendering all later additions unworthy - which I don't agree with!
Great series.
Great series!
Honestly the Tower looked nicer at the beginning of the video than at the end.
Nice! Keep going!
Finally!!!
Do Westminster Abbey
Can you do a series on the white house next or buckingham palace.
What is going to be your next project?
@@yarne551 I really want to do more reconstructions around London and UK primarily
have thoroughly enjoyed these, it really is nice to actually see the "white" tower, just a pity Christopher Wren considered the whitewash out of style and out of date when he came to rebuild London after the Fire and removed it all when he made his alterations at the Tower.
It's a shame they never put the whitewash back later, although i suppose it made a financial sense, not to got to all that trouble for a place that had long since stopped being a Royal residence
do you sell all these 3d models somewhere? :)
@@insertacoin738 no I just like to do it :)
@@reconstructor3068 I would buy them! if you ever consider putting them for sale
Love this - well done, mate! Bravo! 😁
