There's still the 1825-2024 period haha... Other than the 19th century, I don't think a lot happened in the 20th and 21st century

It's really cool to see how the Tower of London with its mishmash of buildings is almost its own mini village

Its back! Thank you for your continued work on the series. Another cool series idea could be on the development of a medieval cities skyline. Cities like Aachen, Paris, or London (which you already have some of the work done for), would be awesome!

Great work! I'm fascinated to see the buildings rise and fall in real time. And so many architectural styles! The Tower really does wear its history on its sleeve.

That was great, can't wait for Part 4, I know the fire of 1841 destroyed a lot of it! Although I wonder which queen the garden was built for in 1506? Elizabeth of York died in 1503 and Henry VIII only married Katherine of Aragon in 1509 and they mainly lived at Placentia (Greenwich).

I’d assume since it was built by Henry VII between 1501-1506, that Elizabeth of York might have been the one

Wow, I had no idea that there were so many changes! Some of the changes were explained, but others not (e.g. onion shaped roofs). I would have loved to sit in the same room when decisions were made to do the changes. I am sure all changes had a good reason, its just that we don't know what the reasons are!

Was so excited for this to come out!
I was curious, I just recently learned about the Louvre Castle (prior seat before Versaille and the Louvre Palace) and was dismayed to learn it was torn down. How much do we know about this specific castle? And could it per chance be a potential future video similar to this one? 😊
Would LOVE to learn more about the Louvre Castle because of how beautiful it’s depicted in tapestries and models

I knew this was gonna hurt! Sure rennessaince and colonial architecture is beautiful in it’s own right, but man, seeing all those medieval towers, gatehouses and living quarters just torn down or remodelled to fit canons just hurts 😩
Obviously just as much a part of it’s history but still it stings the eye 🥲
