Cool thanks! A Mexican waiter told me in Mexico waiters will have a low fixed monthly pay check. Then they actually have to pay the OWNER of the place somewhere around 9% of what is billed to the client each night. So they rely on tips above the 10% threshold, Andrea don't be stingy!
Nice video but you should know that those numbers are not exactly right. Local Mexicans in Mexico City earns on average 700 USD/month. Locals pay about 200-300 USD for rent for 1 room apartment, and in the case of larger apartments/houses the rent is shared between family members.
There’s no way a waiter makes more than 1 thousand USD, this data is wrong, everything else is correct but the population lives very differently with lower standards of living and expats might feel some of the average standard of living lowered as well
22 millions of population, milions of apartments in different areas and all kind of commerce, are a universe. I'm from MC and i say You that the cost of living is, also, a universe of different posibilities.
Fantastic Video 👌👌👌
Thank You 👏👏👏👏👏

Yup
It depends on the restaurant, and the locality (city and state). Laws and wages vary by state.

True, I'm talking about the average expat lifestyle here. Of course you can live in a thousand different lifestyles. You could also be homeless...
