Panama's use of the US dollar puts me as a Canadian at a disadvantage due to the CAD to USD exchange rate, something I'd have to really think about and budget an extra 40% for.
The inflation from the money printers has gone everywhere. I paid $1600 for a full 3 bed house in Las Vegas in 2019, now in Boquette you get a 1 bedroom apparently. Let the banks fail.
I think the reason for the difference is she focused on the higher end of rentals than the middle area. I found a really nice one bedroom with ocean view for 850.00 a month.
