I was just thinking the same thing lol I’ve watched their treadmill video so many times, that’s all I picture them doing when hearing this. It’s so strange seeing them like this lol I loved seeing them live back in ‘07 long before I even saw the music video ❤️
@@Haseo92 I didn’t say it was difficult to play. I didn’t say it was a rare time signature although being in 6/4 at times isn’t a common signature in rock. And I never said sing the lead was tricky because it follows the chords a lot. The backups are harder. They land on different beats. To me that was hard to learn and play. I sing backup. One day at the gym we tried dancing around on treadmills. Learning to do what they did on treadmills was easy.
@@jordancarpenter676I get what you're saying, but there's way more room for error doing the treadmill thing and falling and getting hurt on live TV than messing up playing a song. I'd pick playing the song live rather than doing the treadmill routine.
I liked this song when it first came out but I didn’t really appreciate how good it really is until I saw this. The video is legendary but it distracts from the music .
Actually, I feel that way about all the music/videos they make. The music is great, but the exceptional video productions kind of suck the wind out of it. It was nice to see this no-frills live performance and appreciate a darn good tune on it's own merits.
It's weird, but after watching all of their great videos, it's actually kinda strange to see a straight-up performance vid.

Me too🤣
exactly, I was like - oh right they are a band and they obviously must play instruments
Wow! Why can't we hear more music like this today!
Just need to tune your algorithm better :)
WOW not only a great intro by David Letterman but that performance. Everything about this is GOLD. Way to go boys.
the backup singing in the chorus send shivers down my spine. i love it.
Love this more punk rock version of it. Killed it
They are quite creative but they are also good performers. Thats amazing
To the single-brain-cellers out there saying their music sucks without the videos... You’re at the wrong party. The funeral is down the hall.
YOUR MOMS DOWN THE HALL
Wow.. They sounded great.😳
this was flawlessly done
This might be the best live performance I've ever heard from any band.
Its great no denying that but Queen Live aid best live performance ever!
My man you need to watch some Led Zeppelin live at the MSG in '73.
Oh yes, that amazing times when Cillian Murphy
use to sing.
i get the joke but cillian also used to be a musician that was moderately successful.
Now that's a tight band
Wow how the f did they top that great video. Such an energetic performance.
Man he knows how to work these suits 😍
Can we all take a moment for a standing ovation for CIllian's orthodontist?
Amazing live performance
Straight-up 2000s Power Pop Punk band.
Easier to perform this live than make the video!
That’s the Fact, Jack!
Said no musician ever. This song is tricky. I’d rather dance on treadmills than play this and sing at the same time.
@@jordancarpenter676 It's a simple song to play on guitar though and it's not like it's in an uncommon time signature either

if I could like this twice I would !!!

Perfection !
Like a cleaned up version of the Clash. This is a great band.
Dam first comment after 6 months. They killed this performance
That was pretty damn good.
It's the chaotic intro for me
Just heard it for first time on stingray retro...what a fucken jamming tune!!
They're better playing live than I expected. Next time they should try playing live on top of the treadmills.
um u guys freakin rock :)
This has a real Elvis Costello sound.
goddamn that was good

Class Act
where is the love button
Shit hot
This song clearly is in the need of a couple of treadmills...
超かっけー
Really confused I thought the lead singer was bald?
Feels a bit weird without the treadmills.

All barre chords. Even bassist.
Sauer Cliffs
Goodness? Censored by Letterman for “Jesus”?
Jesus loves you and He died for your sins
This is nothing without treadmills. 😁
They are nothing when they have to rely on just their music
You're nothing when you have to rely on your brain for a decent comment.
Oh little Stevie, you are nothing. OKGO are a great band on a huge stage. You are a nobody and it burns you up.
You are wrong
This was great proformance
Ok random loser on youtube lol
