Transporting my C7 Z06 Corvette to InShane Designs on a U- Haul Trailer for Motorama 2018

- Here is a video I made of my experience trailering my 2016 C7.R Z06 Corvette to InShane Designs for a full wrap installation. I met with Shane back in October and he is wrapping my car to be unveiled at Motorama on February 17 & 18, 2018 in Harrisburg, PA.
This wrap design will be absolutely top notch! You will not want to miss Motorama because the entire 717 Crew will be there. StreetSpeed717, Shane, Troy Sowers, GuitarmageddonZL1, Pat Roell, DHRstreetSpeed, Durtymax Jack, just to name a few. They will also have NighWingZ06’s Gold/Yellow Flake wrapped Z06, Dave’s Black Viper and Camaro 1LE and Many other awesome cars, RC cars, Fighting Robots, 4 Wheelers etc.

Just subscribed. That’s an awesome car. I used to haul for Redline Motorsports few years back. They used to be in Albany, NY and now they are down in Pompano Beach, FL. All they work on is Chevy.

2:15 It will fit 💯👍I highly recommend some 2x 12’s to get a better angle or a sloped spot to get a better angle on the rear. Not for the timid, I’ve seen two people on Rick Corvette Conti’s channel show up with U-haul trailers and chicken out! 5:33 if you can find a slope like this to load and unload then you are Golden ☀️
@@RustyZipper yes I got some boards. Like said a good slope would be great. I am going Carlisle Thursday want to make sure it fit if not I would have to pull my personal car hauler.
james walton - so you’re a pro! No sweat then! I’ve been to Carlisle ‘18 + ‘19. Good times, last year was busy with the C8 factory booth. My boss said no out of state travel so I can’t attend or the NCM Labor Day Bash, just cancelled my hotel today actually 😢
Thur and Sun are a wash IMO unless you’re bored and just want to attend any car show this year. I’ve yet to attend anything myself this year, here in NY things are locked down thanks to Cuomo. Anyways- safe travels! 🏁💨
@@RustyZipper o dam. i am retired so no boss for me....well if you do your social distance and wear your mask you should be good. but I understand. if people had like we did in the military and took heed to the protocols i think we would have been good now.
Never used a U-Haul trailer. Plenty of used and new open and closed trailers. I had an open trailer when I first went racing my Corvettes that was much easier to use that the U-Haul. But soon I got an enclosed as crap will fly off your truck's rear tires and raise hell with the front of the car. Seems all went well with the transport. Look forward to seeing the wrap.
Robert - thanks! Open U- haul trailer was my second to last option. My 1/2 ton GMC won’t like towing an enclosed trailer that far through the hills in PA. Borrowing / Renting a bigger truck and enclosed trailer was not financial feasible. Luckily the roads were fairly clean, at least in PA. Damn NY Salt!

I’m getting ready to haul my Z06 to Florida tomorrow. So nervous to load and unload onto trailer. This helps.

Hey, I just saw you message in the Spam box? I use Final Cut Pro X on a Mac Book Pro Laptop; I highly recommend not using it unless you are proficient in Mac computers and iMovie already. I was using a Dell Laptop and Windows Movie Maker (free); much more user friendly. That will do what you need until you have multiple clips and music tracks on top of each other. To do it again I would get a Dell and Adobe Premiere.
