This was helpful. Thank you. The R splitter requires another piece of wood in front of the forwardmost piece to lift the car a little sooner...learned the hard way.
I will be renting the same trailer in August and loading my daughters car up and moving her back to Tampa for last year of college. She will be staying down there for good. Will be seeing how the 3.5 ecoboost does hauling it down.
Good video, but lifting the front of the trailer with the jack can help reduce the angle of the break over point and give you more clearance for the middle of the car.
@@THEDriverMod_ Absolutely do not disconnect the hitch! I meant use the jack with the trailer connected to the tow vehicle, it would be disaster to try to drive onto an unattached trailer. Probably involve a huge mushroom cloud!
Good thing the car community and most people at the track are happy to assist. I helped a friend load his car after he lost the engine at the track. 4 or 5 of us got it done together.

Something I'll have to do next time also

It'll do just fine!

True but also loading a trailer like that isn't as stable as loading a trailer hooked to the tow vehicle

Do you have lowering springs on your gt350?
I do not, it sits on the stock 350R springs which did not affect ride height ot seems
Why didn’t you get a rental truck for 180 a day no mileage? Better comfort as well
Convenience honestly.
What size is the wood?
Unfortunately I don't recall
Do the tire straps hit the rims? I have a gt500 and that is a worry of mine
They shouldn't, mine completely grabbed the tires
@@THEDriverMod_ awesome thank you
Sorry brother came in late🙏🏼
No worries
@@THEDriverMod_ Re-watched the video🏁

Okay so what if your car doesn’t start? Need like maybe 5 guys to push it up? Lol
