Definitely agree with the braking situation though, my brakes are still factory.
@turboskratch gaming - Does and S550 have braided brake hoses? One has to wonder if that with exceptional fluid and pads would make a huge, relatively cheap improvement?

It seems that this speedometer runs at 20-25 fps which is obviously much better than 1-2 fps speedometers for many other car manufacturers. I think some manufacturers think that the speedometer is hard to read if the numbers change fast but you can easily keep the numbers readable with fast enough display (you need maybe 20 ms pixel response time or less for a crisp 25 fps display so that's should be easily doable even in cold temperatures with a good LCD and obviously OLED would be always fast enough). I find slow speedometer response hard to use even for normal passanger cars if you try to accurately match the highest allowed speed on road. I think using tabular font for the numbers would have been even better. For example, when speed went from 172 to 171 the number 7 shifted a bit towards to right because "2" was taking more space than "1". Some fonts have very nice numbers with regular widths and do not require such shifts. And I loved the tachometer implementation even more here.

They will squeal/squeak some and need to be Heated Up for best stopping performance and best used with grippy Track Tires -- Super 200's or better. These pads will get a lot hotter than oem
Finally! Mustangs for the win To the owner - try to use ventilated hood and some canards, it will bring car much more front grip (the hood lifting killing front grip); and looks like you have quite nice setup for the rear DF already
The thing about Mustangs is that they are basic boxes from the factory because Ford expects them to be modified immediately. So stock, they are a bit meh. Add a few modifications, and you get this. :)
So true. I’ve driven many high end cars and when I bought my stock brand new 2020 Mustang GT it didn’t really impress. 50K Australian later and it goes like a frickin racing car (100-200km/hr 5.6 sec and goes around corners like a go kart).
The mustang is a huge performance secret and before the prices went crazy we’re an awesome value I bought a track pack car like this for 26k and put about 10k into it now I have a car that makes over 700 whp and handles really good.
It surprises me that no one is suggesting brake ducting… 2 piece rotors and some endurance pads with ducting will make the car way more consistent. Also I’m glad he mentioned the mt82 as the weak point because it is. The Camaros tr6060 is much better and geared a lot better too. The 10r80 is faster if tuned properly, but can be a lazy slush bucket if not.
The only reason people say mustangs can only drive straight and give them so much hate for wrecking so much is because of two things, there are more mustangs out there to be wrecked than other vehicles and you can say oh there were more dodges sold in 2023 or whenever but look at the history overall and how many different mustangs were put out and sold compared to charges or challengers or Camaros or whatever, and if you look at the numbers then you will see there are more mustangs sold then most of those cars put together and another reason you see so many crashing is because of drivers underestimating the cars and not being able to handle the power and also the amount of drivers that aren’t able to handle that power doesn’t go well with a car that has sold more than 10 million times
Super cool to see Misha...had a feeling you would like this one. Ford almost took the GT350R to Lamans because it was very good on track...so they say. They do put down shockingly good lap times on track.
I think the Ford Mustang has been the number one selling "sports car" in Europe for several years. Someone mentioned it and I didn't believe it, but a quick Google search confirmed it. Especially in Germany.
@@gpaje yeah but IIRC that was because Ford couldn't meet demand for the Mustangs, not because the demand was lower. Also yeah, the Mustang is the best selling sports car around the globe. I'm not surprised it sold so well in Europe especially since it's the first generation which came here (I guess second generation if you treat the facelift as a separate one).
Sadly emissions taxes killed it, the price tag is still good but the taxes are insane. In multiple european countries you are now looking at close to 100k€ for a GT. Example : In my country the price tag is 58400€ for a GT and you add 25000€ of emission taxes & 1500€ registration so 85000€. That's a lot of money for an entry level GT.
how is nobody talks about that golf in the beginning, even in the straight the mustang needs some effort to close the gap. what a properly tuned golf i believe 👍🏻 great mustang too!
Misha was taking it easy, especially on the shifts, in the beginning. Remember the owner talking about the shifts before the lap? Once he was getting used to the car he hunted down and passed him.
Two comments: first of all, the driver can really drive!!! second, his accent seems so Greek, I was sure he's a Greek. Finally, I would like to point out that it's a shame that we cannot see what gear the car is at any moment. I would really like to know the gear when they're going 257 km/hr, and the car seems to rev quite a lot. Anyway, overall a great film showing a very capable driver with a great GT.💛

The car seems too heavy and underpowered due to excess weight, but it looked like a comfy ride.
Am hoping that Misha gets to pilot the C8 with the Z06 upgrades. From an engineering standpoint & daily usability it’s really impressive in terms of bang for the buck.
When Micha is driving, it looks like Walter Röhrl ❣️
Totally in the game and the car is flying over the track 😅👌🏼
I love it 👍🏼
Love from Berlin,
Ramsi 😘
Fantastic ,really enjoyed watching the stang around the ring ,good driving and great car ,keep the good work up 👍
I had the same RTR wheels on my '16 Mustang GT, also manual. I loved that car a LOT. Such a joy to drive.
The foot camera is essential for these videos. Please include it in every video. Love this shit!
Finally! ...a coyote on the ring, on this channel (I haven't seen one here before). Not a bad motorsport weekend, Coyote on the ring, and F1 in Monza. Definitely kicking back later to watch these.
There was another a few months back
S550 is a total beast. I had a 2019 PP1 and it was so much fun but then decided to sell it for a 2021 Subaru WRX STi. Subie is on another level again in terms of grip and confidence it gives you.
Can drive way faster in my STi without risking certain death in the GT!
i’m actually torn in between the 2 but i’ve heard subaru engines are unreliable and the ford transmission sucks
@@mio3379 the engines arent unreliable its the owners who are unreliable. They add parts on and dont get them retuned which can damage the engine.
Specifically what handling problems did you have with pp1?
The Cup 2 tyres on this thing made all the difference!
seeing your footwork is amazing
Man I'd really love a rear facing camera sometimes on these videos
Great lap, so much fun. 🤩
Mustangs on the Ring are so darn cool to watch.
Even my S197 4.0LV6 from 2010 (not calling it sports or a track car by any means) handles pretty well with leaf springs and stock suspension on the right set of tires.
This video was scary and a ride in a fast car through the Ring known as the "grave yard" is crazy and dangerous! Very entertaining watching you drive ‼️😱
Love Mustang gen 6 Soooooo Much
the fact dat ford offers so many ford performance parts is amazing
I like these guys. Fans of American muscle. I have a 5.0 and would love to hit the nurburgring one day, but I live in the us.
Someone let this man drive a GT350 out there! My goodness, where are the mustang representatives at lol I love my stock GT350 and I've had people compare it to an E92 M3.
Great video! Good setup! Only wish you had a G-meter to get an idea how much it’s pulling for being such large auto. Looks like it generated a lot of downforce!
I would love a Mustang
Always had a soft spot for them
Loved the old Cobra R
Misha think you can get your hands on a GT350R? think you will love it
Brakes ---USE Carboterch 10 & 8's or 12 & 10's. Much Better initial Bite and then modulation thereafter over oem! Great for Road Course use and still ok/fine for street. They will squeal/squeak some and need to be Heated Up for best stopping performance and best used with grippy Track Tires -- Super 200's or better. These pads will get a lot hotter than oem
Finally! Mustangs for the win
To the owner - try to use ventilated hood and some canards, it will bring car much more front grip (the hood lifting killing front grip); and looks like you have quite nice setup for the rear DF already
American here. Can confirm that they give out a free mustang when you buy a pack of mac-n-cheese
🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad you get to drive a manual S550 Mustang, finally!
awesome to see you driving more american cars and giving them good reviews.
50K Australian later and it goes like a frickin racing car (100-200km/hr 5.6 sec and goes around corners like a go kart).
that so enjoyable to see manual cars on track
Great drive Misha!!...I was hoping it at least had a turbo but I can sleep tonight knowing it was a manual! 😂😂😂😂😂
OMG!!! What an amazing lap!!
Love the additional angle for the peddle box, thank you!🦿Kick ass car!
The mustang is a huge performance secret and before the prices went crazy we’re an awesome value I bought a track pack car like this for 26k and put about 10k into it now I have a car that makes over 700 whp and handles really good.
Go on Ford performance. Lol. Nice car and a fantastic lap. That golf at the beginning. Madness. ✌
Bruh the sound of that coyote during the 3-4 shift at full throttle is glorious
Interesting fact: Misha never uses right turn signal on the lap, because no one can overtake him, whenever car Misha drives)
Not completely true!
emptied half a tank in one lap haha, awesome!
Needs more GT-350😬
Get me one! :D
@@mgcharoudin Would if I could my friend. Still saving up to get one for myself. They sound sooo good!
That's EXTREMELY surprising. It's pretty obviously one of the tops in the US.
@@mitchellsteindler The charger is the best selling in America usually. Love my Shelby though.
@@RCXDerp That's only recently, the last year of two in the last decade has the Charger outsold the Mustang in the US.
Updated короче =))
This car looks very stable and it have impressive cornering speed. Love it.
Thanks!
00:42 that turned shiftknob reminds me of the GR Yaris i've driven XD That also was too easy to loosen
I would love to see Ford, put a Mustang GTD in your hands for that track! 👍🏼
The immediate Golf flyby was disconcerting 🤣
how is nobody talks about that golf in the beginning, even in the straight the mustang needs some effort to close the gap. what a properly tuned golf i believe 👍🏻 great mustang too!
You drove the piss out of that car!! Great job from the states 🇺🇸
Beautiful lap, beautiful car.
The world talk and cars is never accurate especially regarding this car as the intro says. Nice to see a mustang that actually corners and did it super well too .
a GT500 with new tires on this track would be the best video ever.
I suspect that once Tim Burton (shmee150) gets his over from America he will have it at the Nurburgring although I suspect he will drive it for his video, but hope he gives Misha a shot.
Wait till you feel a supercharged mustang gt😳
Wait until it overheats half way through a lap….
@@RollingRoadEFI You can upgrade the radiator.
@@RollingRoadEFI I’m running a Roush TVS 2650 with the new larger radiator and tune to match on my 2018 Mustang and no problems anymore with overheating. Will run lap after lap and no problems with braking either as it has braided brake hoses and upgraded pads. Is only on 10 lbs of boost and you see 647 horses on a hub Dyno-most accurate Dyno you will find.
@@RollingRoadEFI these cars with a centrifugal blower rarely ever have issues.
Misha, You are truly a diplomat. The owner seemed wishy washy, and despite all the supplication he added to the cars power, it seemed totally negated by the pathetic clutch performance. None the less, you and your skill got all it was able to offer under the circumstances.👍🏼
Good ol mt82, love how he needs to warn you
