I still say it was that hit in that game that signalled the true beginning of the Pat White Era at WVU. I'm so glad I got to see so many of his games live and in person. You could never get a true appreciation of what he did until you saw it with your own eyes. PW as QB, OS and SS there on either side, and Reynaud to throw to. There is a hard offense to stop.

Actually he was projected to go in the 3rd to 4th round. He raised his stock in the Meineke Car Care Bowl and senior bowl. He also had a good combine draft.
Also a good runner (most likely rb/wr) will line up on the weak side slot position and cross over during the snap to the strong side. And that's the wildcat. This formation can be altered slightly giving a D countless different looks.
despite all of the talk, he's been one of the best QBs at this year's combine. I dont see Sanchez or Stafford being elite QBs in the NFL, so Pat has a chance to be the best of this class if he stays at the position AND goes to the right team. Im from GA and like the falcons, but he can do well in Carolina or Tampa, and they're both due for a QB competitions for the next couple of years. not to mention how it'll give the falcons some mobile qb karma.lol
if they can get him though, it'll be crazy to see White and Slaton in the behind the same O-line again! of course, matt schaub is their starting qb, but he's injury prone nowadays, so we might get some Texans/Eers action afterall.lol.

Ya but Parcells is not stupid, its far fetched but is a possibility, Pat White can run for a couple of yards if theirs no one open and those couple of yards can make all the difference. His arm strength and accuracy are very underrated. Pat will most likely have a descent amount of playing time out of the wildcat formation. So when you think about it, Pat will already have the upside at the end of the 2010 season, having thrown more passes in a real NFL game.

We used LT Long, right tackle Vernon Carey and pulling guard Justin Smiley on the strong side. Anyone could take the snap. But its better to have someone who can both run and pass and that's why miami took white. Also having a left handed passer here is going to cause chaos. Yes i know brown is a lefty but i can throw better than him.
