Same, it was the middle of the night & I was listening as I fell asleep && all of a sudden I busted out laughing when she said that! They watched the bone grow out of her feet & cartilage & skin start swirling around it.
Yep. He doesn't want his daughter to have the shot and be independently protected from harm no matter what she does. He wants her vulnerable to disease and dependent on him for protection. He views her as his property that he gets to gift to a man he picks eventually. Because his daughter has no inherent value to him she is just a resource to be used. Disgusting.
Exactly! Why should we want ANYONE to be vulnerable to disease that can easily be prevented? I want to protect my child NO MATTER WHAT. Even if they are an addict or prostitute one day, they do not deserve to contract diseases. Not to mention how insanely ignorant it is for any parent to think "that will never be MY kid."
You can get Hep B accidentally when doing something like picking up trash on the side of the road for a community service day. I don't understand people who don't want to be immune from horrible diseases they could accidentally contract. It really doesn't make sense to me why you would choose potential suffering when you could just not?
Parents overall are very concerned about children’s access to social media and internet content in general. Neglected children will always have access and therefore laws need to protect for those whose parents aren’t watching any internet content or access, as far as I know there’s no legal precedent to legally enforcing an internet restriction for a minor onto a parent. So there need to be strong legal protections for children regarding online grooming and predation. There is no demographic of parent that is promoting a wider use of social media or the internet to raise their children.
“Demons want you to be like them, not like you,” Then everyone claps because the context of a man using a pole and him talking about gender has alerted them to the fact that “demon” means “woman” lmao
@@Schu0086 Yeah but there is no way to really regulate social media like that. Kids just lie about their age and sign up for accounts all the time and there are MILLIONS of them, so combing through accounts trying to find and ban them all is a losing game. They will just make another account. Then there is the issue of different laws across different countries. So a kid in the US could just say they are from another country where it's legal for them to have an account. There is also no way for these companies to ensure people who sign up are adults. Have them give a credit card or license? They steal their parent's or use fake ones. You really just cannot enforce this by making some laws saying kids can't be on social media.
@Vesta_the_Lesser Of course, we all did it! 😆 The internet is so entwined in our lives there is no way you're gonna get kids off social media without Communist levels of control ( and even that they find ways around)
@@DimaRakesahnot ALL kids, but we could def drastically improve that number with more mandatory parental controls & like an ID or SSN verification for adults. I’d give up some privacy if it meant less kids being abused or manipulated. Also we need more protections and background checks against these many, many pdf files online. It’s so complicated and sad.
Vaccine related; I worked at a swimming pool and this guy in his 90's would come in every morning to swim. He and another guy started talking about vaccines (this was during Covid) and he said "I am religious and this God made the trees, the flowers and birds, but I also think God created the opportunity to get vaccinated and I will." As a non believer I really liked his view on that
This should be a more popular opinion. If God creates everything, including modern medicine, why not use it? It is stressed in the Bible that God can't do things directly for you. You have to help yourself. If someone's survival is dependent on a vaccine and they don't take it, that is their choice, but God gave them an option and they refused it.
There's this fable I always remember about a man trapped in a flood who keeps praying for a miracle. A rowboat, a speedboat, and a helicopter all reach him and offer to rescue him but he refuses, saying he's waiting for a miracle from God. After he dies in the flood and reaches heaven, he asks God why God never sent a miracle. To which God says, "I sent you three and you ignored them all." ... That's exactly how I see the alarmingly high number of adult people who think science is the enemy of faith.
Also, how did he not know? I’m not a parent, nor a medical professional, but I know about vaccinations after birth. Furthermore, how was this not a conversation ahead of time with his wife? Does the person who endured gestation for 10 months and just gave birth not get a say in her child’s medical care? Good grief.
The closest I could see it going is the nurse saying, "often people believe that Hep B can only come from dirty needles or unprotected sex..." and he interrupts the nurse and never lets them continue
yeah seriously. no way it was explained to him like that. he was the one making up stories about his daughter regarding drugs and sex work, and not actually properly researching hep b. his story is not convincing lmao. weirdo
Yeah, that definitely didn’t happen. I’m a nurse and would NEVER say something like that. I’d also like to add that if he knows so much about medicine perhaps they should’ve had a home birth and if he has a broken bone ever he should heal that sh*t at home since we (medical professionals) don’t know anything.
Okay, the whole “there’s nothing purer than two men in a cage” monologue…tell me you love a dope ass gay nightclub without telling me you love a dope ass gay nightclub.
Yeah they actually, factually lifted the voice of a CSAM producer but it’s these open minded folks who are hunting children and making them silent (≖‸≖)
"Being pressured into making a sexual decision at 9" Well, first of all, society genders everything. Second, people like this guy, Driscoll, tell boys they need to be rough and violent and girls they need to be modest and sociable way earlier than 9. They go up to kindergarden kids and ask them if they have a (heteronormative) boy- or girlfriend and shame them subtly if they don't answer in the affirmative. Beauty pageants, child brides, etc, etc. How is all of that crap not pressuring kids into taking sexual roles at a way too early age?
My first thought was what research supports his stance, if any? The second was are the incidents increasing, or are more children and adults reporting abuse more now that our society actually acknowledges child sex abuse as a problem?
I’m ngl the video of them taking mark off the stage and the way people reacted in the audience was so disturbing. This man was saying some fucked up shit and everybody was just agreeing with him? Like he was actively baiting a whole crowd against some man that they deemed effeminate to the point of accusing him of being a demon and all those guys were in agreement. Like Jesus imagine what that crowd of men would do to an actual gay man
This event got all these dudes hyped up and aware/defensive of their "masculinity" - Mark coming in and stirring the pot is him tipping the scale toward the violent dominionism he preaches. Folks in that room were ready to follow him off the cliff. The reaction was scary.
Also the crowd was super easy to swing whichever way they wanted. It was weird hearing them cheering one thing then flipping to the opposite so quickly depending on who had the mic. So much for strong independent thinkers....
Baiting a whole crowd against a man who was *present* who would potentially have been in physical danger if he'd just gotten another minute to rile them all up without pushback. Like it doesn't even matter if someone's actually gay. You can't just go telling a whole conference full of religious people that this guy standing right here is a demonic presence in their midst, that as men they're supposed to be willing to get physically violent for things they believe in, and then expect that's going to be fine.
As an actual circus performer whose primary act IS chinese pole, this whole story is very funny to me. Also if anyone is curious, the difference between chinese pole and pole dancing is primarily the pole's material, height, and circumference. Chinese poles are coated in a silicone or rubber coating, are usually much taller, and are thicker than pole dancing poles. This allows the performers to climb much higher than on a pole dancing pole. Because pole dancing poles are bare metal, the performers have to wear as little clothing as possible in order to grip to the pole. But because chinese poles are coated in rubber, performers have to perform in pants and usually a long sleeved shirt in order to prevent friction burns from the rubber. Chinese pole and pole dancing have some tricks in common with each other, but the difference in poles also allow for two different performance styles.
I want to admid that there is special coated clothing (like leggins and longsleves) for pole dancers to have a better grip and/or to be more covered. Some also were fake leather leggins as a budget option.
In his one transphobic rant he asks “why don’t young men talk to young women?” Well Mark, it’s because the old men are already trying to talk to the young women.
Also AS IF a trans woman would go through an entire engagement and wedding and all that just to honey trap a transphobe, I promise you she's not interested in putting herself in mortal danger like that
@@vintagearisenExactly. But fearmongering hate-spewers like him need to make up these fake scenarios to rail against, in order to pretend they're righteous warriors for God.
HEPATITIS ALERT 🚨 Hep can happen without a cause and with NO symptoms. My mom was diagnosed with it in her 60s when routine bloodwork showed super elevated liver enzymes. She is 80 now and hepatitis is now full blown cirrhosis. She nearly died last year when her liver wasn’t draining properly and had to get emergency surgery and multiple blood transfusions. She is not eligible for a transplant. Doctors said her case was hereditary. I did some research and found a relative in the early 1900s that died of hepatitis. She’s an old southern Baptist lady with bouffant hair. She drank maybe 5 glasses of wine per year. Never even tried drugs. Married to my dad since they were 20 and neither one had been with anyone else before or after getting married. Her mother had no liver issues either.
Aunt who worked as LPN in the 70-80's, recapping needles or tossing them in your pocket was fairly routine practice. She was unaware that she had hepatitis for decades. By the time it was found, she was in liver failure.
It always fascinates me when they insist men were just made to be toxic basically. In their own book, god made Adam and put him in a garden with no threats or predators. All the fighting and everything is supposed to have come through the devil after “the fall.” But there’s a whole lot of these types of Christian men who insist god made them with all their violent and sexually aggressive traits. I think it literally makes them abusive.

Springfield MO native here! James River Church is absolutely a plague on that city. The toes scandal was absolutely delightful though because almost everyone I knew was on the same page about how ridiculous it was. The memes were a highlight of living in Springfield. James River also got flamed during COVID because they have unmasked, fully attended services during the pandemic. And as you already went over, horribly all the phobics and -ists anyone can possibly be. They've been holding this men's conference for years now. They already have 4 campuses across SW MO, and now they're building an east campus near the new Buccees we got last year. Almost every person I knew that attended that church was the most stereotypical, ignorant, and hateful "Christian" that I had encountered. They also display the largest "JESUS" sign I have ever seen around Christmas each year.
Maybe the city should stop giving them building permits. I’m usually against such things, but government has a duty to limit monopolies by overzealous overreachers. Expand the Bass Pro campus, but Saints and Demons Preserve Us! No More Driscoll!
Could you imagine? The rest of the conference would be awkward to say the least. Also, non-christians would be invited in hopes of getting them 'saved' . Well that idea is out the window.
Regarding Hep B vaccines, it’s also required for healthcare workers. I investigate failed orthopedic implants and had to get the vaccine and undergo blood borne pathogens training.
Whoa! You’re telling me that vaccines are simply a healthcare measure and it’s ridiculous to moralize medical treatment?? Mark Driscoll is such a loser.
As a parent, I need to tell this "man" that there is NO guarantee over what your children will end up doing or not doing from the moment they begin to spend time away from you. In preschool. All you can do is guide them as best you can in the rights and wrongs. He'll have a rude awakening. I feel sorry for his kids already. Imagine living under that threat .
And it's like... even if you don't think your daughter would ever end up on the streets, have you not considered that kidnapping happens? It's totally possible your daughter could be coerced into doing something she doesn't want to, why wouldn't you want to protect her as much as humanly possible? His extremely misinformed logic doesn't even hold up on its own merits
Men like this love to say that stay at home dad's aren't working, yet they refuse to do any household work if they have a sah wife/kids because "they were working all day." Like, which is it? Is taking care of a house work that you don't want to do after your 9-5, or is it not work that you can help out 50/50 after your 9-5? You can't have it as both "too much work after work" and "not work."

One episode included a guy who told the swapped wife that so the work she had to do after coming back from fishing in the bayou was easy and his wife didn't even have a real job and she should be thankful that she doesn't have to work like him. "New wife makes the rules" period happens and he has to do a reasonable amount of chores. I wonder how people like mark would fare against mma women because let’s face it if you got to constantly say you are tough then you are not if you are tough you do not need to prove it actions speak louder than words
A few years ago I had to have some blood work done and found out I was no longer immune to Hep B. I got vaccinated as a kid, but the MINUTE I found out I no longer had immunity, I went out and got vaccinated. Vaccines save lives!!
also just want to say that the bible DOES mention angels having sex with humans in the beginning of Genesis 6 as the reason for the flood. so that bizarre point he makes about demons being transgender + nonbinary sexual entities as opposed to angels just falls apart; especially when considering the descriptions of angels as androgynous figures lacking distinct masculine genitalia (or genitalia at all) despite their masculine pronouns.
@@virginiavanni8061 yes! as great wheels of fire with many eyes. and when assuming a "passably" human shape its usually in the realm of the uncanny valley
15:01 he thinks that by educating the children about their bodies, it manifests in them the curiosity to see other kinds of bodies. As opposed to keeping them completely in the dark, which is widely demonstrated to create an environment where curious children have really no other source of information than other children. The price of this has already been exposed with ppl like Josh Duggar, and yet he continues to propagandize the virtue of keeping children ignorant, knowing that this makes them more vulnerable. Because he has reasons for wanting that. Sounds like someone who’s going to super hell.
As a woman who plays combat sports (medieval), I find it hilarious that they think fight sports are only for men. And yes it terrified the conservative Christian guy's I've known over the years. One quote "you make me feel so emasculated". 🙄 Cry harder.
It's so obvious that pathetic men think this because they want to feel more powerful over others and scare women into thinking that they are necessary to have in their lives. Heaven forbid women are able to defend themselves! 🙄
There’s nothing manlier than immediately crumbling at the mere thought of a woman in combat sports (I have never been more sarcastic about something in my life)
The irony of their heartfelt chat/apology is that they are capable of being emotionally aware, respecting boundaries/consent, and NOT choosing violence. All the things Mark preaches against. Sad that they can't extend the same respect to groups they're not a part of.
Yeah, those tears were such a contradiction. Maybe it's okay to bro cry with a strong bro on a stage before a strong bro audience (bro hug with aggressive squeeze, back right off, then administer three whacks on the back)
@@maryeckel9682 Yeah, like an aggression sandwich: Start with your toxic hate speech, have a lil bro cry with your spiritual daddy, then a violent back smack to top the whole thing off. Similar to a compliment sandwich, but with extra horseradish sauce.
That's what is so insidious about these groups. They have to see you as an equal, which is rare, to give you basic respect. Their congregation is just a means to stroke their massive egos. I'm rewatching the other video Jen did on him and he is a pos bully, so is that other guy for giving in to a pos bully.
Great example of "if wanted to he would" Also neither the image of him getting his ass beat or the image of him beating up a much older man was really going to do him any favors to his reputation. 🤔
Mark constantly talking about what you have to do in society to “be a man” just shows he actually agrees that gender is a cultural construct and not just what’s in your pants
can i just say i love the humor in this episode? jen throwing herself into the opening credits of the men's conference. james throwing in that he was reading from a wikipedia page because he hates the chiefs. jen's live reaction to that entire song and dance that involved mlk like she was there in the crowd. this episode was great and i can tell you both had a blast recording and making it
Within this subculture, what Mark did was *SUPER* disrespectful to the home pastor and it totally tracks that the home pastor blew up over it. Because the authority structure and holding to that authority structure is the *most important thing*.
You know what's f***** up about those toe people? I work primarily with people with psychotic disorders. Specifically people in their primary episodes of psychosis. I have a client who has a lot of religious preoccupation and among art and writings there are also stories he tells me. So here I am updating his mom and telling her about his symptoms and she tells me hold on a minute. The stories are not fake. Apparently the stories he told of somebody regrowing people's limbs who were in a wheelchair are real because in their previous Church the pastor literally pretended to regrow people's entire legs below the pelvis and below the knee on stage. Clearly they left that church but it just goes to show how unbelievable these people are. Because here I am as a professional treating somebody with a psychotic disorder thinking these things he says he saw and experienced are delusions. When in reality these are things that's f***** up Church actually pretended to do further triggering additional religious preoccupation.
I'm all for religious freedom but with the rise of mental illnesses and prosperity gospel or other religious exploitations, I don't see how a society can remain functional without eventually having to address it.
When I was a teenager I was part of a ministry that "cast out demons". I often think about how many mental illnesses and delusional thoughts we bolstered, even in generally healthy people
i think it’s interesting that when Mark brought up stripping it was immediately female strippers as if men can’t strip too. The pole made it stripping somehow and although Mark saw it as stripping he still didn’t talk about male strippers or male modesty at all- it was immediately demonizing women who do it
I think Mark Driscoll equated Alex Magala's difficult and athletic performance to women stripping because it had the same effect on him as women stripping.
We need to set up a fund for if she ever needs help getting away from him that and Matt Walsh's daughters too. Sadly they may grow up to be fundie self hating pick mes.

“First of all; sex with demons: cool” and I thought the same thing when I saw how he had positioned the fire in frame. My man thinks he’s so salt of the earth.
Ok could we just agree that everyone has Adams apples. All the people. All the genders. I'm tired of this misunderstanding. And there are a lot of things that can give you hepatitis. Thank you Jen! 100% yes. Lots of features considered to be “manly” often happen with everyone! I am a girl with a pretty prominent nose, broad shoulders, etc etc, and if we see these features as only “manly” (which we already do) it causes a lot of harm.

Another Springfield resident here and just wanted to clarify the main James River location where Lindell preaches is in Christian county, but their other branches are in Springfield/Greene co where the law was repealed. @@missmelodies52I think for a lot of people that’s part of the attraction of attending a mega church. If it takes that long to get off the parking lot it MUST be important and therefore YOU must be important for going there. It’s just the glow of celebrity in a religious setting.
Thank you for reminding folks that stripping and pole dancing while entwined are not 1 to 1. Plenty of people pole dance and do not do any sort of sex or sex based work, and plenty of strippers do not do pole dancing.
As a young Christian doing volunteer work in Mexico, a person on the medical team I was assisting fumbled putting a needle in the sharps container and poked herself. We couldn’t determine who the needle had been used on (so couldn’t request them for a blood test a and had no idea what she may have been exposed to) and it was very scary. Get your vaccinations, people! (The volunteer was fine, but just pointing out it is very easy to have accidental exposure)
I have discovered needles in parks and playgrounds. Notice them in waste cans as well. My brother in law was exposed when poked as a paramedic working on an overdose victim. Police officers are at risk. Happens in many ways.
I'll never forget going to a megachurch with my best friend years ago, and during the announcements they talked about the ladies group's weekly tea and then the men's group's "hearty breakfast". Men want a woman who is passive and subservient and fulfills a "woman's role" in terms of keeping the house, cooking the meals, tending children, etc. But what they *don't* want to do is put in literally any work on their end that would make it possible for a woman to live like that. There isn't a man in that building willing to put forth the effort it would take. They say they will, but they won't, and that's how you find yourself working forty plus hours a week and responsible for everything at the house while your husband goes to work and comes home and does literally nothing else but complain.

This reiterated the way patriarchy is so invasive and harmful. Hearing the men in the audience affirm Driscoll was chilling. And Driscoll seemed to be on the verge of tears, like a dog with his tail between his legs when he was on the stage with Lindell after their talk. First of all no one is asking. A 9 year old “What’s your sexual orientation,” but when I was 9 I would’ve been able to tell you “Well I like other boys.” I didn’t exactly know what the word gay meant, but I knew that I liked kissing other boys on the playground. As a medical professional - that nurse did not fucking say that.
I agree! I’m not a medical professional, but knew IMMEDIATELY the nurse didn’t say that.
Right?! Absolutely not.
I love how Mark Driscoll’s idea of “the worst public high school” is one where kids are talking about their feelings 😂
“Demons want you to be like them, not like you,”
Then everyone claps because the context of a man using a pole and him talking about gender has alerted them to the fact that “demon” means “woman” lmao

Vaccine related; I worked at a swimming pool and this guy in his 90's would come in every morning to swim. He and another guy started talking about vaccines (this was during Covid) and he said "I am religious and this God made the trees, the flowers and birds, but I also think God created the opportunity to get vaccinated and I will."
As a non believer I really liked his view on that
This should be a more popular opinion. If God creates everything, including modern medicine, why not use it? It is stressed in the Bible that God can't do things directly for you. You have to help yourself. If someone's survival is dependent on a vaccine and they don't take it, that is their choice, but God gave them an option and they refused it.
He's in his 90s? He probably remembers how awful polio was and what a huge deal it was when we developed inoculations for it.

This is a very good instructive parable which I think every person of faith should meditate on.@@saveferris486
Also calling BS on the nurse giving that explanation for why baby needs a Hep B shot. That is not how that conversation goes.
There was probably no nurse.
yeah seriously. no way it was explained to him like that. he was the one making up stories about his daughter regarding drugs and sex work, and not actually properly researching hep b. his story is not convincing lmao.

"Being pressured into making a sexual decision at 9"
Well, first of all, society genders everything.
Sex ed is proven to prevent abuse and empower victims to speak up, so no wonder they are against it
My first thought was what research supports his stance, if any?

They would probably run in terror of catching the gay virus.
It's because they're strong independent thinkers 🙃
These people have never heard of performative masculinity, and yet they'll spend 20 minutes watching a LITERAL performance of masculinity
Today I learned. Thank you.

My mom had hepatitis as a teen in the 70s. One of my aunts had it as a child and now has cirrhosis

It always fascinates me when they insist men were just made to be toxic basically. In their own book, god made Adam and put him in a garden with no threats or predators.

Total prosperity gospel garbage, but the difference between the groups and the manly hearty breakfast always got me.
I hope the ladies tea was served with hearty snacks.
@@Bright_Broccolididn't sound like it 😞
We weak JEZEBELS can’t handle the hearty snacks duh 😂
If women have enough to eat they might run away 😒
@@smfreij how are we supposed to catch strong godly men if we eat too much hearty breakfast?
Mark Driscoll is what happens when Jesus turns water into Monster energy.
Brawnddo, the thirst mutilator! ;)
I’m trans, non binary, and autistic… does that mean I’m a DEMON?!?!
✨💖😈💖✨
NO IT DOES NOT! Not even a little bit. I'm a pastor and I confidently say that you are NOT a demon, nor are you an abomination. That theology is WRONG. Keep being your awesome, authentic self!!!
No, but you are fabulous!
Me too! 😂
Nope!
Demonic possession, despite what Evilgelicals think, is extremely rare.
As a Christian, it is frightening to see how they create the monster and then can't control it. Mark, who admits to sleep deprivation, has the crowd hanging on every word and demanding he continue his insane rant. Then, after having to use their "big" voice to shout down the audience, they invited him back and called him a prophet. He was straight out wrong, and they give hima powerful title of prophet. Absolutely dangerous.
On a tangentially related topic, Jen’s makeup is AMAZING in this video. Those colors make her eyes pop and the blending is perfect. 10/10, no notes
I agree! Jen looks amazing 🤩
“Mark Driscoll is like if Joe Rogan was a pastor.” 😂😂😂 It’s so true!
I don't know about that. Rogan is kind of a douche, but not to that degree 😆
I still can't get over the guy cutting a log with a chainsaw with pyrotechnics. Why am I not this guy????
Why *_are_* you not that guy?
You're just one chainsaw away.
Live your dream!
One of the most entertaining afternoons I ever had was when I went to a lumberjack festival. No pyrotechnics, but lots of chopping, sawing, pole/tree climbing contests, chainsaw art.
If you are interested in it, try it out. It's both fun/entertaining and useful.
@S_H9260 that sounds amazing. I would definitely pay to watch that.
@@n.r.m.15 it really was fun. I wasn't expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised. If you get the chance to go I recommend you do.
Every time you said Lindell, I thought of Mike Lindell being at the men's conference. He would have fit right in.
Same! Expected the images of pillows to come up any moment. To have *MANLY* pillow fights or *MANLY* talk session while resting on them.
He gives off strong vibes of the type of guy who comes to his first BJJ class and gets really pissy when one of the more experienced women makes him tap without breaking a sweat, then he complains to the instructor about it.
Probably while making mental note of everyone's throat.
The day this happened to my mysoginistic brother
Oh how I was gloating :D
It was the day he decided karate was a dumb kind of sports anyway
Men want a woman who is passive and subservient and fulfills a "woman's role" in terms of keeping the house, cooking the meals, tending children, etc. But what they *don't* want to do is put in literally any work on their end that would make it possible for a woman to live like that. There isn't a man in that building willing to put forth the effort it would take. They say they will, but they won't, and that's how you find yourself working forty plus hours a week and responsible for everything at the house while your husband goes to work and comes home and does literally nothing else but complain.
You must’ve met my ex-husband, ha-ha.
Sounds like a typical far-right household, yea.
Wow that conference, you could've told me it's parody. I got blocked by Mark a few years ago. I've been out of the church for a decade and from all I've seen since then, they've really leaned into the absurd. It's all so silly, but so so dangerous and scary.
My Dad was very supportive of me when I came out as Trans. He even taught me how to do my makeup as he was a Cosmetologist.
That's nice♥️
The fact you called him the mojo dojo casa preacher😂 Kristen Du Mez just did an article about this conference and fiasco titled the mojo dojo casa church
Look, I'm a Christian. I've been one all my life... and I swear the American Evangelicals surprise me on a weekly basis. When someone coined the term "evangelical industrial complex," they were not kidding.
Today I found out I'm not a man.. I can't backflip a basketball into a hoop
😂
Welcome to the non-man side. ❤❤❤
As your father, I am very disappointed in you 😔
As your mother, I love you regardless.
I was a he/him when I was born.
I was a he/they when I started this video.
I was fully They/them by the end of that men's conference footage
Stoppp, i had to pause to catch my breath after watching it all go down in that clip of the conference. It was actually scary, like the sheer number of voices cheering for Mark to come back... Its haunting 😭😭😭
As an ex-mars hill exvangelical and non-binary gay, my night was made seeing this upload 😎
This reiterated the way patriarchy is so invasive and harmful. Hearing the men in the audience affirm Driscoll was chilling. And Driscoll seemed to be on the verge of tears, like a dog with his tail between his legs when he was on the stage with Lindell after their talk. Yet somehow after the media coverage of the event, they are still beefing, so everything said on the stage after was a show for the men's retreat. This whole things feels like a pissing contest between two narcissist pastors.
My badass daughter served multiple tours in Iraq, was the only female on an EOD team of 165 men!! So, WRONG!!! She did the same job as the men and even won multiple fights that broke out!!
your daughter sounds kickass, it's just annoying that Dubya had to send so many people into the Middle East to die for him and his buddies to make profit and get oil. or something like that, anyhow. i was only born like 3 months before 9/11 so your mileage may vary.
too long; didn't read summation: your daughter sounds awesome, i could never imagine working with a bomb disposal unit
Thank your daughter for her service!
The way the place errupted once Mark was thrown off stage...I was just waiting for them to yell at the pastor "PUT EM IN THE CAGE AND SEE WHO'S THE MAN OF GOD💪👊!!!!!!!"
“Mark should have brought that to me in private. I, on the other hand, am a man of god and will righteously call him out into this microphone.”
I'm with him, in this case. Mark is a lying hypocritical narcissistic fool.
I'm so sad to admit I once worked for and belonged to this church as a member. The stories I could tell are endless.
Yooo spill the tea 🍵
Go for it. You're anonymous, they took advantage of your sincerity and faith, and are doing so to others now. You owe them nothing.
Please do!
Yes, do go on.
Share! Share! We’re listening!!
feels like a Southpark episode, but no, 100% real, wild!!!
It is exactly like a South Park episode!
Amazing!
Someone needs to call Matt and Trey.
They're so focused on the toes and everyone just kinda glossed over that a woman was SHOT BY HER HUSBAND, WHAT
Yeah, like that was no big deal
Happens all the time.
But she said the toes were amputated due to a terrible care accident. The miracle-making pastor changed the story.
First of all no one is asking. A 9 year old “What’s your sexual orientation,” but when I was 9 I would’ve been able to tell you “Well I like other boys.” I didn’t exactly know what the word gay meant, but I knew that I liked kissing other boys on the playground. Because a lot of kids by that age have little boyfriends or girlfriends at school so it’s not uncommon for kids to know those feelings without necessarily knowing the labels.
Back before I realized im a man I worked as an audio tech at a mega church and had to run audio for one of these mens conferences and was the only "woman" in the room and it was one of the things that started to make me realize I didnt want to be a christian anymore 😂
Mark Driscoll is just admitting that he got his jollies watching the sword guy.
Everyone I know that's been an addict was raised Christian. So his "my daughter would never do drugs I'm a Christian!" is just ridiculous.
11:42 Jen you have NAILED IT- Joe Rogan in pastoral form. Terrifying cryptid
I know you mean “pastoral” as in “like a pastor” but now I’m just imagining cottagecore joe rogan
@@gretablackwell495 And now i've got "cotton eyed Joe" in my head with a weird video mashing those together...
This dude absolutely RADIATES guilty, projecting conservative.
Thank you, Jen, for giving scientific info concerning hep.
At first, I thought the blonde woman talking about her toes was Melissa McCarthy doing a bit😂
The "sideways thing" on the pole is called a flaghold btw.
That seems apt.
Thank you so much for exposing these toxic people, Jen! I would know nothing about this crazy shit without your channel. It is so far removed from my regional culture yet knowing have an influence on national policy is very scary! You are doing God's work
A miracle happened over the course of 30 minutes and not one person caught it on video?
I wanted to see her foot! 🦶
Funny how they never seem to catch them on video, even when they film everything else. 🤔
If u want your kids to work in any kind of healthcare they gotta have their vaccines and with such a large and growing field you don't wanna narrow your kids options like that
Josh Hawley gave the raised fist to the January Sixth protesters and then when they broke into the Capitol there is video of Hawley Running Away Like A Little Girl.
Brave Josh Hawley ran away,
Bravely ran away, away
When danger reared its ugly head
Brave Josh Hawley turned and fled
Yes, brave Josh Hawley turned about
And gallantly, he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Josh Hawley
“Like A Little Girl”
If you think the worst, most degrading thing you can call a man is female, what are you even doing on this channel?
Little girls are strong and brave and rarely run, even when afraid. Perhaps he ran like a coward?!
Providing the truly laughable moment of that entire affair
@@mizotterThank you, came here to make a less poetic version of this comment
The audacity to have a MLK speech there when he stood for things the conservatives hate.
Not to mention the fact that most of those guys are big supporters of the "pointy white hood" crowd makes it worse.
Mark is gross. As someone who went to Christian conferences for multiple year...I'm frigging mad we didn't get any monster trucks! We were children it would have been more appropriate for us! All we got was interpretive dance numbers performed by other children.(derogatory)
Ya for real where was this for the 90s Christian camps. Mine were boring af.
Fellow Missourian here. You should do a deep dive on James River. I have lots of friends from SW MO and several of them went there as teens and say it's a cult.
Think redneck IHOP
I can tell you from northern Illinois that it's a cult. So is our own Willow Creek. Any time a church says it's got the truth, the cult begins.
Ah, James River. Or as my dad likes to call it, Six Flags over Jesus.
This is epic.
I love your dad
Your dad is an absolute legend 😂 I have bronchitis and I laughed myself into a coughing fit but it was worth it lol
You adding your picture into the commercial at the beginning. I'm dying.
I need a club remix sampling his bizarre "men work" speech bc we could really steal that for good.
I have lived in Springfield for a decade now- PLEASE reach out to me and I would love to tell you more about James River. The Springfield community, including other evangelicals, hate James River. It is an insane place.
