Love this!! Just a little healthy tip my sister taught me - you never need to use any fat to cook bacon, as soon as it is heated it will start cooking in it's own oil :)
So glad to hear it!!! I can definitely do more meal prepping but I usually tend to primarily stick to the same recipes as the 2 videos I have posted so I wonder if it would feel repetitive? I can def do more easy healthy breakfast/snack/dinner and lunch recipe idea videos too :)
@@TheCarolinaLifestyle Yes love the idea you mentioned on doing "more easy healthy breakfast/snack/dinner and lunch recipe idea videos". Would definitely watch them. Just subbed. Thankyou!!
Hey, just found your channel from the meal prep video. Was so helpful. I am curious though, why you switched from plant based to eating meat? What was your experience like? I am debating whether to do 100% plant based or keep animal meat in my diet. Thank you so much fellow NYC'er lol.
Hey hey! So glad the meal prep was helpful :) I went fully plant based for a few months in 2020 and for basically all of 2021 I was eating mainly plant based + also having eggs and fish. I was experiencing issues with my hormones/my cycle/energy levels so my acupuncturist recommended adding in bone broth and more animal products so I reintroduced meat/chicken/turkey/etc and full dairy products like yogurt halfway through 2022! Every single body is so different, but personally it's helped me a ton with feeling more energized throughout the day + seeing better results from the gym because I am able to hit my protein goals! I always aim to buy high quality products through (hormone free for chicken/turkey, grass fed beef, pasture raised eggs, and wild caught fish). I also think sleep, enough hydration, lifting weights and working on my stress has been key on my journey!
Thank you so much! I don't have a link for it because it was actually a graduation gift I got a few years back -- it's from Van Cleef, so def an investment piece
