I love how you made a point of saying that people shouldn’t feel guilty about having desserts that aren’t “healthy”-also those brownies and peach cobbler look so good!
Oh yes 100%! I rarely make ‘healthy desserts!’ And a lot of times these ‘healthy’ desserts aren’t even that healthy 😂
Totally agree, all about balance!
A lot of the "healthy" desert stuff is rooted in diet culture, which often encourages people to feel shame and guilt about eating foods that are not as "healthy" because they don't want to be fat or gain weight. And quite frankly, diet culture often encourages people to feel shame and guilt for even eating healthy food like fruit or bread just because they have carbs because "carbs make you fat" bullshit. Like, diet culture is a breeding ground for unhealthy relationships with food and body image, and diet culture even goes so far as to contribute to actual full-blown eating disorders like orthorexia, anorexia, bulimia, and even binge eating disorder.
Stop miss treating ur body just bc u have a food addiction
@@suzytalks4778 Pretty bold of you to assume the commenter is mistreating their body because they choose not to eat these "healthy" alternatives. Maybe they haven't found one they like yet. You can eat anything-even these healthy alternatives-as long as you do it in moderation. Too much of anything is unhealthy for you. Even this stuff.
BIG oatmeal person here: the slimey/weird texture usually comes from overblending the oats; try to not let it sit for a long time in liquid (it starts soaking it up) and blend until just smooth! hope this can help!
In that case it'd better to blend the oats into a flour first and then mix the other ingredients.
i dont blend mine at all xD still love it
I make this mistake every time dude
Tip for anyone using natural peanut butter for PERFECT consistency. First, always store it upside down in the pantry for a day or two when you first buy it, this lets the oil incorporate on its own. Then when you open it for the first time give it a good stir and then again, upside down but now store in the refridgerator. Whenever you need it, just bring it out for a few minutes and it will be perfectly incorporated and smooth everytime. Just saved your life. You're welcome.
Thanks!
Ok

I’ve made baked oatmeal, but I’ve never blended the oats. I thought it was strange the oats were blended. Try it by blending the other ingredients and then mixing the oats in. I think it will be a way better texture!
Yeah I think so. I’m going to try a few different recipes and see because I feel that it has potential! Like a giant oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is what I’m trying to get at. How good would that be!!
@@BrittanyLupton that would be delicious! I’ll wait for the recipe. 😆
Thanks for that tip
I never blend my baked oats,I mix everything in a bowl and leave it in the fridge overnight and bake in my airfryer for 15mins at 180. I also put cauliflower rice in sometimes, you can’t taste the cauliflower rice.
@@BrittanyLupton Yeah that was weird! I have never had baked oatmeal be gummy. Tbf, I do make mine in the microwave rather than the oven lol, but maybe that is something you could try.
To get the chickpea flavor out beforehand, wash them really well then let them soak in water with lemon juice for 20 min :)
this could be a legit game changer for this recipe 🤌🏽🤯 thank you!!!
I made a dessert hummus I recommend soaking the salty chickpeas overnight and my brownie batter didn't taste like beans 😋
She was right about healthy alternatives. I mean if they don't satisfy me, i would rather go for the orginal versions, feeling full and happy
AMEN!!!
I hate oatmeal but love baked oatmeal. I have it everyday. What I learned to make sure it's not gummy is I only use about 40 grams of banana and I also add a scoop of protein powder. More cake texture now! Try again with these adjustments. you'll love it. So many different flavor variations as well
Thank you Rachel! I Really want to try it again! So I’m going to give this a try ☺️
Just came back from making the flourless brownies and they’re so good. You are right, the consistency and texture is just like regular brownies. I did add cinnamon and collagen protein to mine. I will definitely make again
BRITT! I am on week 3 of lifting heavy weights all thanks to you!!! 🥰 thank you for being so sweet + inspirational! Lifting has done so much for my mental health already and I feel like the universe really came thru for me when it delivered one of your videos in my suggested feed. I am recovering from trauma so I am just really thankful to have this positive thing in my life 💖 thank you thank you thank you 💖💖💖💖
Danielle this made my morning! I’m so happy to hear I could help in any way! sending big hugs 💗💗 ur so welcome!
That's awesome Danielle! Jesus has helped me a lot in my life even when I thought it wasn't possible. I love this video too! :)
LOL love the reactions. Vinny is too cute! He’s convinced me to try out that first recipe
Haha yes the first one was a hit!! It taste just like chocolate chip banana bread!
"I accidentally doubled the vanilla in my recipe" 😂 "it's never an accident"
Relatable!!!
Love this video! Thanks for making these desserts and giving your reviews!
“Aquafaba” is the word you were looking for with the chickpeas!💗
Yummm I def want to try the peach crumble😍
Hahaha yes 😂👏🏽 and the cobbler is easy & yummy!
I also agree that baked oats has such a weird texture! I really want to try the blondies and the peach cobbler! 😍
okay glad it’s not just meeee! 💗 and yes the cobbler is good! blondies 🥴 not my fav but maybe you’ll like them!!!
Yay! Just started watching your videos! Love them! So relatable. I just started my fitness journey. God bless.
Yyyaasss. I love your positive attitude girl, it’s so healthy and refreshing!
THANK YOU 🥺💗
Love all your videos! Vinny signing, my speech therapist heart felt so full!!
and yes he’s gotten sooo good at his sign language 🥺💗 it’s been so fun and great to teach him!
When should I start to teach my baby sign language?
This is my first video I’ve seen of yours and I need to try that first recipe ASAP! Also, your little boy actually made me want to have a baby and teach him sign language so adorable!!!
This girl is a trip 🤣🤣 The recipes look so good, so I WILL try them. Aw, I like that her family joined in her video 🥰 beautiful family!
For the chickpea version I have found a recipe that has same ingredients but (same amount ) medjoul dates instead of maple syrup, and an egg, plus vanilla in addition and I thought they taste really really good! You should try (or at least, I recommend you do;)
I just made the Banana Chocolate Chip Brownies and they are delicious! It was super easy to make and the ingredient list is really short and simple, I would highly recommend. I am not sure what about it is "healthy" though. Its about 300 calories (if cut into 8 pieces) a regular brownie is the exact same amount. Maybe the fact that they were able to incorporate fruit into it is what they meant by healthy. On the bright side It's dairy free and gluten free, so that's nice for all the people with intolerances
It’s %100 because it contains “healthy” ingredients like PB, oats, and maple syrup instead of icky “unhealthy” ingredients like wheat flour and sugar.
something can still be healthy even if it has a lot of calories???
Okay 1. Sweet baby. Too precious. And 2. I’ll definitely give the flourless brownies a go and the baked oatmeal out of sheer curiosity. It seems like the texture might be like bread pudding.
The end was so cute awwww
awwww 🥲
Love your personality Brittany ! New subscriber here ! You are so fun to watch , this is a helpful video ! Happy holidays to all of you !
For a more cakey texture for the baked oats leave out the bananas. My full proof recipe that I have for breakfast or dessert:
So I do 3/4 cup oats, a few dates or maple syrup, vanilla extract, 3/4 tsp baking powder, add enough milk (any kind of milk) to just cover the oats. Add a tsp of cocao powder to make it chocolate. Blend then bake at 180 for 15-20 min. I like to serve it with custard or i make a sauce with some vanilla protein powder and milk or a chocolate sauce with peanut butter, dates, 1 tsp cacao powder and milk blended.
thank you!!! is it 180 C? I need to try this ☺️
@@BrittanyLupton yeah sorry! Its 180 C
Will try that first recipe! Your family is adorable ❤
Omg you are literally so funny and nice! Love your energy ✨🥰
aw thank you!! 😭💗
I accidentally overbaked, baked oats and it was life changing, they had the cake consistency and it tasted so good. If you want you can even break it up into chunks and have it with milk and it is amazing
I love how she’s like “AHH, come back outa the oven!!” I cracked up. Also Vinny is ADORABLE
FWIW, ramekins are all oven safe. They're made for things like crème brulee - which goes under the broiler in your oven.
LOVEEE THE VIDEO😍💯❤ AND THANK YOUUU FOR YOUR HONEST OPNION LITERALLY!!! 💯❤
YOU ARE SO WELCOME!!!
I love that you taught Vinny basic ASL!1 im definitely makking that first recipe!!
These are so good!! My husband loves them too! I them today the banana chocolate chip brownies.
which recipe are you most excited to try!? 🤩💛
If you have a baby you could name her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name or Christian if it is a boy
definitely need to make the first ones!!
The way you speak and interact with the camera is kind of like a workout coach and i am HERE FOR IT like no joke i feel motivated to make something in the kitchen, workout, finish all my coursework its amazing. Love the vibe, new sub
Thank s for sharing ,i love it very yummy and healthy,,,❤️
As someone with a sweet tooth, this is for me🤩
haha perfecttttt timing 🤩
Make more videos like these! Makes me want to try new recipes :)
Love the honesty in this lol
Vinny is so cute!! I would only consider trying recipe 1. Thanks for sharing. I like that you didn’t sugar coat. 🙂
Your so funny and honest I laughed so much bless you
Thankyou for the recipes you cutie pie 🥰
The “goop” lol. The liquid that the chickpeas sit in is actually called aquafaba. It sounds fancy but it literally translates to “bean water”.
that’s so cool, i didn’t know it translates to bean water ☺️ thanks for sharing!
I LOVE YOU THANK YOUUU
I don’t even eat healthy but I was so curious 😂 and beautiful family you got over there!
Omg Vinny with the sign language. My little brother was a late talker so we had signing time on all the time to try and help him, we all knew the basics for a while and it really helped. My mom once signed for him to ahem “stop. Crying. Now” In the grocery store and it was the only thing he listened to and immediately stopped. A passing lady found it pretty awesome lol
brownie:
1) 2 banana mashed
2)1 cup of peanut butter
3)⅓ cup maple syrup
4)1 egg
5) 1 tsp of cinnamon
6)1 tsp of baking powder
Baked oatmeal:
1)½ cup of oat
2)½ tsp of baking powder
3)1 banana
4) 2 tbs of cocoa powder
love the sweet smile on ur boy ! thanks for the video!
aw thank you! and you’re so welcome! ☺️ happy to share!
Lovedddd this
sooo happy you did!!!
Definitely going to try the first recipe!!! Thanks !
yes it’s good!! Actually holds it’s weight on the mix of ‘real desserts’ 😉
Wowowowow😍😍😍
love ur video!!!!🤣
I love your vids!
🥺😭 thank youuu
I was dyyyying watching you make the brownies 😂 "that's not enough chocolate chips!!!"
😂😂😂 what can i saaaayyy i like my chocolate chippppyyysss
@@BrittanyLupton omgg I can't believe it was your favourite out of the 3! You were so mad at it while making it 😂 I'm so excited to try it. I can't believe how fluffy and moist it turned out 😱
@@msraerae91 haha I KNOW 😂😂🤣🤣 I was sooo skeptic but it was actually good I was so humbled. And the one I thought I would like I hated! 🤣
@@BrittanyLupton I love when thay happens!! Now you have a new favorite treat for the family too 😍❤️
Yay!! New cooking video ❤️ My sweet tooth has been on overdrive lately and some healthier options are just what I need!
Yay! I hope you find one you loveeee
For baked oats, I use to do it by hand. Mash a banana, put 2 tablespoons of oats, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and cinnamon. Put that in the microwave for 2 minutes and put honey or maple syrup on top.
yesss i’m so early to this! i’d love for you to do a vegan recipes video or challenge just to see what way you would adapt your fitness and diet for veganism ☺️
i find it’s not toooo hard to adapt! we try to do vegan meals & recipes sometimes just for fun, and it’s cool to find different alternatives!
I’ve done baked oats and mine came out with the texture of cake or a muffin! I used a cup of oats, 3/4c of oatmilk, 1 banana, 1tsp of baking powder, and 1 egg. perfect. i cook mine at 400 for 30 minutes too so I’m sure that played a big role.
What’s the perfect banana substitute??

When I get a notification that you have uploaded a video, my happy time begins 📸❣️🍊♥️🥳😘🥰🤩❤️.
I don’t eat oatmeal because I’m a huge texture person, but I was really excited to try Katlyn’s baked oatmeal recipe. I too was thrown waaay off by the gummy texture. I even tried making it 3 times because I thought I had done something wrong but that’s the result every time 🤦🏾♀️😆
That recipe seems like it was for people who had weight loss surgery. Everything has to be blended until the stomach is completely healed so it doesn't get stuck.
I make the first recipe all the time it really is so good!
It’s the only one worth repeating IMO! 👏🏽
i absolutely love the video, you seem so nice ahh i want to make them as well 💘
Thank you so much!! If you make them I hope you love them!
So glad I found this video! I’ve started my healthy/fitness journey and I have such a big sweet tooth so I want to try look for healthy alternatives and damn those flourless brownies slap so hard 💯 I’d rather eat those with some Greek yoghurt than actual brownie 😂😂
YOU ARE FREAKIN' AMAZING BRIT!!!
THANK YOU 😭💗
Your so funny and honest😅 I laughed so much bless you
omg THANK YOU haha
i wanna try the browniesss!
Yummy that look good 👍 😋
GREAT VIDEO, FANTASTIC RECIPES, WOULD LOVE TO THE CALORIES!!!!!!!!
AHHHHH😍😍😍 I'M SO EXCITED AND DIDN'T EVEN WATCH THE VIDEO YET I keep jumping and laughing omg lol
Omggg just found your channel and I am in RUclips HEAVEN I’ll be binge watching you tonight ☺️❤️
AW YAY!!! welcome hehehhee
Bananas are great for treats like these. I've made simple pancakes and cookies with them, and while they do come out a bit dense and spongey instead of fluffy, and they look pretty terrible, they taste SOOOO good. And they're good for you!
The chickpea blondies are one of my favorite desserts to bake; I find them so delicious! They're really good with a mix of dark, milk, and white chocolate chips. I don't taste the chickpea flavor much at all, personally, but everyone is different.
What are your current favorite workouts and meals? Thanks for keeping me motivated in my fitness progress. Doesn't seem like you see my comments now not sure why but great content. Keep up the good work! I'll ask again on the next one.
Bennie is adorable!!!!
I make a healthy berry cobbler all the time that's super good. I take the berries and I cook them on the stove top 1st with about 1 tbsp of cornstarch. I then taste them to see how much sugar to add because often times they just need 1 or 2 tablespoons, if they need a bit of acid, then add a dash of orange juice. Then when I make the toping, I don't measure, but I use about 1 cup of oats for an 8x8 pan, then I add 1/4 sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and pour in about 1/4 cup of olive oil. Mix it all together, add the berries and then top with the oats. It's super delicious, doesn't have a lot of added sugar and olive oil is good for you.
First video I'm watching and I LOVED IT. Also, LOOOOOOOOOVED that Vinny knows some sign language!
aw I’m so happy you loved it Gabriela!!! And yes it’s been fun teaching him sign language 🤗
Yay!! I’m early!!🥰 Can’t wait to try these recipes!!
let me know which one you try & how it goes!
no coz i knew the first “blondies” recipe will be fire…it’s banana + pb + chocolate combo. nothing can go wrong w that
This is my first time watching her and as soon as she started talking, I immediately subscribed!! She is so funny! 😂 I’m excited to see the rest of her videos.
That's not a brownie thats lowkey a banana bread😭
Can’t wait to try the brownies, but I better hide them cause my husband would eat the whole thing LOL… Love you Brit! BTW your bby is so cute!!
Hahaha I can relate to this! and thank you 😭😏
Glad Britt and I are on the same page about oatmeal as dessert. Every night without fail -> protein oats w/ fruit
I have the baked oats in the oven right now (i added a bit of sea salt to mine 😁)! It smells SO good cannot wait to try it! I'll update when its ready
Okay! So I'm obsessed! The only thing I would maybe change later because im not a huge fan of almond butter is add a piece of dark chocolate to the middle or a chocolate and honey drizzle 😁
i don’t eat any sugar so ive made a ton of healthy recipes like these! they r actually super good :)
Awww he knows sign language!! Im knew to this channel, but thats so cool. I used to know quite a bit of sign language when i was around his age too. So cute
hi! and welcome ☺️ yes i too love that he knows to sign. it’s been reallly fun teaching him and watching him learn and use it.
I don’t know why but you’re giving fun aunt energy
haha 😂 love this
I want to try banana brownie now
YES My QUEEN!!! **IDEA FOR NEW VIDEO** : will you take us through your FAVORITE workout???? It could be a full body, or your favorite workout for each muscle group, I just love the idea!
LOVE THIS
I've personally not tried making baked oats however I've seen recipes that don't call for grinding up the oats and I bet that turns out with a much better texture.
Baked Oats is the one on this list that has changed my life. TikTok Inspired Me but I never really liked the consistency. I played around with ingredients and Have my own recipe, and I also cook mine in the air fryer. I feel my best on a low-carb/Low-sugar Diet, and this has been a staple for Me as it curves my sweet tooth and fits into My macros
شكرا ع الوصفه الرائعة
those peanut butter banana blondies look SO GOOD... I'm making mom pick up bananas from the store so I can try them
just a reminder for everyone that there’s no such thing as “wasted calories” if it’s fueling and nourishing your body and most importantly bringing you joy, then it’s not wasted:)
BUT IS DEFINITELY STORED LMAO
“Flourless mother freakers” 😂 I love it so much!!
Vinny is the best taste tester!🥰
Hey! Idk if you'll see this, the baked oats turned out the way they did coz there's no butter/oil, no I'd recommend you either keep the pb and add 1-2 tbsp of applesauce or 1 tbsp butter or oil. With butter or oil, i leave the pb for toppings coz I find that nut butters don't allow cakey stuff to rise ✌☺
thank you for this! 🤗
It was the Elf reference for me 🤣
Hahaha so glad you caught that 😂
could i use almond butter aswell or almond flour instead for these? i have to still adjust recipes for gout and just curious if it works still with these modifications?
Aww that's sweet that your son signs, I work with a lot of students who are nonverbal so we communicate in sign a lot
perhaps the oats in the baked oats are supposed to be blended into an "oat flour" first. then incorporated into the other ingredients. Alll in all thanks for sharing! those brownies looked fire!
