I think people were confused b/c at the end you said "this has been the best metal of January" and it would be more clear is you said something like "this is what we think it's best of upcoming January releases"

I used to work at HVM before it shut down :(:( and I always knew when new metal was coming out and I've been lacking that luxury for almost 2 years now so THANK YOU!! I have no social media and my phone is old as sin so this is my only avenue to find new music which is really all I care about anyway. \m/

This is great! I really like the monthly tip sheet that you guys do for the patrons, and this is a great addition. I follow a lot of new releases for bigger bands, but this really helps with some more niche stuff

As a participant in the Interdimensional Vortex of Conspiratorial Tastemaking, I too have been listening to number of new releases. Two I'll mention here: Violblast - Theater of Despair & Nuclear Tomb - Succumbing. I am not even a big thrash guy (first is thrash, second thrash/death), but they had me banging my head more than others this month.
Love this show, the more the bands the better. The only advice is to make the music last a little bit longer for each bands, sometimes it's difficult to understand the type of music of the bands. Happy metal year guys, keep going.
Great show! Especially for me who does want to listen to more new releases every month! Though I thin having a few seconds each of the band's new music being played. Like, just the band's music in its full glory for a few seconds with its title. And also a theme song on the start of the video. But great job as always!
I like. Maybe a few extra albums and honorable mentions. But as a whole, as long as this doesn't replace overkill reviews (which I miss having the 2 reviews every Friday), I like it!

There's an album from January you probably haven't heard of: Tytus - Rain After Drought. Old-school metal worth checking out.
