@@HSETM all the electronic siren controllers have some sort of tone generator. The 2020 and 2030 are programmable it’s pretty much a full wave square wave generator. The voice capable 2020 and 2030 controllers you can load pre recorded messages on it.

I've always wondered how Whelen digital controllers work. Is it an audio file it plays or something?
It’s actually a tone generator circuit you can re-create this with a whelen amp and arduino.
