Well met everyone (yes, I have to practice my medieval speech)! First of all thank you for all your nice comments and the hilarious ideas on how to use this song. It is very entertaining to scroll through the comments section.
Since many of you asked for more music like this, there is only one question left: what would you like to hear on your next visit to the tavern of your trust, or wherever your adventure will take you? Just leave a comment on what you would like to hear in a medieval/fantasy style and I'll choose something and try my best.

@Sirius Stark Al Ghul Nah, an awful lot of people die from folk medicine, even today.
Most real medicine we make today is poisonous in a slightly higher dosage. Why on Earth do you think that medieval women with no actual education would be any less prone to killing people by accident.
Also, the fact that you think Witches were burned shows how little you actually know about the subject. Witches were typically drowned or hung as a rule. Burning was for apostates and Heretics, and was the sole purveiw of the church.
They are called Inquistors
@@VentilatorenBumser
Inaccurate. Inquisitors didn't give a shit about witchcraft. The various Inquisitions were aimed squarely at heresy. Say that Christ has only one will and you can expect a visit from an Inquisitor after they send you a letter telling you not to leave town for the next six months while they form a formal case against you an metaphorically bury you under a mountain of council decisions and bureaucracy.
It wasn't until after the protestant reformation that witch hunters actually became a thing. See, the Catholic Church's policy was that witches aren't real, because Satan can't give you magic powers even if he says he will. Protestants disagreed, and some individuals decided to go from town to town offering to find local witches and to sell various devices and charms to protect yourself from witchcraft. They weren't a part of any inquisition. They literally metaphorically whipped up mobs to sell them torches and pitchforks.
A prime example was Matthew Hopkins, an English Protestant, who claimed to have been given the title of "Witchfinder General" during the civil war (no office ever existed by that name) published a book titled "The Discovery of Witches" and then went on to kill more people than had been accused of witchcraft in the previous century. During the entirety of the middle ages they estimate roughly 500 witches were executed in England Matthew Hopkins executed just shy of 300 between 1644 and 1646.

Eh - wasn't heliocentrism itself as much as a perceived attack on the pope/jesuits in his writing. Heresy is what got you in trouble then, and Galileo was (pretty wrongfully) accused of trying to reinterpret the Bible (many don't think he was). Keep in mind, this isn't so long after protestantism caused a huge rift in the church/world, leaders of the time were sensitive to those that might undermine the status quo. Saying the church had it out for Galileo ignores that he was employed at university (run by the church) to begin with.
Not saying what happened to Galileo was good or anything, but its a little more complicated than "burn the witch." Also, he wasn't burned/killed or anything, or even formally accused of heresy, he lived under house arrest after his trial.

This is the song that plays when the drunk guy bad mouths the Baron, not realizing three of the barons knights are sitting on the table behind him.
Plot twist the guards hear the song cause drunk guy is An Assassin
"In the early night of 25th February 1272 Ralph son of Ralph, vicar of Bromham went into the road opposite the east end of Bromham church towards William Passeleuwe's house. Robert Bernard of Wootton, Robert of Shefford, Richard Norman and Roger Brien came, and Robert Bernard asked Ralph who he was. He replied: a man, who are you? Thereupon Robert, because he was drunk, sprang forward and struck Ralph across the crown of the head with a "spart" axe, giving him a wound 5 inches long and through the middle of the bone in depth, so that blood and brains immediately flowed out, he immediately lost his speech and died thereof about midday on the morrow."
