I used to have a cat and so when he would be outside, he would take LIVE RATS AND MICE into the house so he would catch and eat them later. You can imagine how that was like. We had to give up the cat because he could go through the doggy door and we would need to block the door to keep him inside and that wouldn’t work with out dogs. So we gave him up to a farm where he could go explore and hunt whenever he wants to. It was sad when I gave him up though.

I lived in Washington State and we had raccoons, and other small critters that came in through the doggy door. I then lived in San Diego where Rats would come in through the doggy door at night. So we got rid of the doggy door.
