If you're not expecting anyone over... don't even think about opening the door. Look through the windows or eye hole if you don't have cameras. Look out for your neighbours if you think it's suspicious.
One good thing about westerners is everybody has installed a camera on the door whereas it's not that common in Asia...all these recordings were horrifying as hell😭
Minnesota is not a "stand your ground" state. So, if someone breaks into my home via the front door and I can escape through the back door, I am legally bound to retreat. I cannot engage nor defend my home nor family. Doesn't matter if there is a weapon or not, I need to retreat. Got into it with the police chief in our small town. Flat out told him that I would stand my ground, defend my home and family. Guess I'll be going to jail.
That’s messed up!! I think we should be able to defend ourselves in our homes and elsewhere no matter what! Like you, I would do it too!! That’s just pitiful
The 2016 clown sightings were urban legends that rose in popularity during 2016 about an individual or group dressed up as clowns who stalk, harass, or otherwise scare random people.
One time, my auntie was at home sleeping (it was 4am) and a random guy came up from a car to her door and ringed once, but my aunties dog, whom she trained to be a guard dog,was also sleeping inside and heard the doorbell and barked loudly at the door several times before my aunt woke up and looked at her doorbell camera, and found that the man was already gone by the time she had called the cops. Sadly the cops didn’t have enough information to identify who the strange man was. The guys was wearing a black hat, black mask, backpack, jeans, and a black hoodie we saw that he had had something in his pocket.
that last one freaked me out the worst right away just due to how bizarre his phrasing is. repeatedly asking "are you sure" and "are you absolutely certain" seemingly in response to... literally nothing. and then that only makes the sudden shift into explaining what he wants to do in incredibly clear, stunningly direct fashion, with a completely calm and even tone of voice... i don't necessarily live in the safest part of town so to speak but this shit makes me so glad that my part of the apartment complex is set up in a way where someone would either need to correctly enter a code or break a lot of glass to even approach my actual front door. god DAMN. my partner and i collect knives and are no strangers to dangerous situations but that guy had such a disturbing vibe. like, if that guy got into our place, he would not survive it, but i get the feeling we wouldn't either.
I never open the door to someone I don't know, even in the daytime, even to kids. I don't even let them know I'm home. One, because I don't want to deal with it (antisocial), two I don't trust ANYBODY. 😉
Haha saaame! If someone knocks on my door, I go into full-on lockdown drill from middle school mode. I now have a sign outside that says "do not knock, just go the fuck away." Thankfully I don't live somewhere where people just knock on random doors, though, so that helps. I have a blind friend, though, who lives in a bigger city, and because he works from home, he's always getting knocks on the door, and every time he's like, "Come on in!" Clearly we are polar opposites lol
Stay safe brother nd sisters..... It looks like many crazy peoples are freely walking around u in darkness.... Don't open doors at night time...love from India🇮🇳 stay safeeeee guys❣
It makes me LOL when burglars look directly into the ring doorbell camera, shuffle like 2 inches over, continue to look directly into it, and still don't think that the person on the other side can see them.
This is the kind of crap that happens because people think that they are now above the law and can get away with pretty much whatever they want. Unfortunately there are people like me who will not tolerate this kind of shit in or around my home and I will do whatever is necessary to protect, not only my home, but also my animals and my family that lives within it.
Thank God that the last man was arrested he was scary and I had seen him on another video but it never said what happened after he left, I am so glad Amanda was safe and put him online she was brave for doing that
I called them before when someone was banging and banging on my front door but they said there's nothing they can do because no crime had been committed!
12:01 now why the hell would someone leave their car doors unlocked and leave valuables at that inside said car???? Like imagine if she did have a extra set of keys that could be used to get inside???? Like thats so scary to even think about.
It's sad that the police don't even bother to follow up on a lot of these. That poor Lyft driver with the girl biting him. It's on camera and they must have had her name, info to order and address but they do nothing about it. That just reinforces that she can get away with it and do it again
@@caroleejohnson1553 Oh, give me a f*cking break. The police should be held to a higher standard than the public. They are not judge, jury, and executioner.

Always get a security door thats a rod iron or metal door that locks on both sides that goes in front of your front door. Always get multiple rings so you get several access points covered. Get motion lights and motion sounds.
These videos should be ads for ring doorbells, or home security of any kind. Every time I watch one of these all I can think of is how many people in the past have fell victim to these creeps and thiefs, how just having a camera outside and being able to survey the body language or clothing of the person at the door can determine the out come of what happens. Must save so many lives, I really feel like I need one 😭
Y’all ok life tip: NEVER open the door even if it’s during the day, the safest option is to hide fr. I don’t like talking to people so I don’t open the door anyway😹 but even the people you do know, could have bad intentions. These people don’t even need to be in your house, if you open the door they could do something to you right at your doorstep. So lock your doors, hide your keys, and hide if you hear knocking. Pretending no one is home will prevent any intentions they have👍🏼
I was a new mom, with a 13 week old baby girl, 1974. My husband just left for work at 11:30pm, he was a policeman. We lived out in the country, no street lights, no 911 back then. At midnight a black man knocked on the front door “selling encyclopaedias”. It was a half glass door and we could see each other. I did not open the door of course, and he tried the handle. I told him to go away. I got my husband’s off duty gun and called the police. I heard my two large dogs in the basement going crazy, the man kicked in a basement window and was trying to climb in. I went down there and pointed the gun at him, he told me I didn’t need the gun….yeah right! He still tried to climb down, but the dogs and my gun scared him away. He was arrested farther down the road breaking into another house. He was high as a kite, and a convicted rapist. The police response time was almost 10 minutes, since we were so far out of the way. Thank goodness I was armed, and had dogs.
@@qutanyaWoods-wm6vv - I’m far from being a racist. You have to realize the situation and where it happened. I lived far out in the country, the area was basically all white. Having a man….any man…..come to your front door at midnight would be unusual, having it be a black man in an all white area was totally unusual. When you give a description of an alleged criminal……race is probably the most important and first detail you provide. He was a black man who was a criminal, he wasn’t a criminal because he was a black man. Know the difference. Much safer staying overnight in truck stops and rest areas with loads of other trucks plus I make $1,200 per week and I have no rent or utilities. The company pays for the fuel. Everything I make is pure profit. I saved alot of money and I eat like royalty.
Hackers can get into a ring doorbell / camera and can easily find out what you're doing, if you're home, if you're gone, whatever they want. I watched an investigative report about that on TV a couple years ago.
I don't think people are getting worse, I think we just hear more about it since multimedia is bigger these days... creepy stuff happend also when we didn't had door cameras
I can't believe how anyone would think it's ok to leave their unlocked overnight smh this video shows the importance of making sure ALL doors are locked at night
The first clip shows exactly why I love having four dogs. People we know, know that our dogs go crazy at the front door, so they step back until we stop the dogs. Anyone else, they may be chewed to bits if they tried to come in.
My house burned down 2 days ago on christmas eve. We lost everything. It spread so fast there was nothing we could do. Our hearts are broken. We have lived in that house for over 40 years.

Very dangerous living in America, no gate outside of house. Cannot imagine so many criminals and crazy people, nobody do something to prevent strangers near your house.
Depends on where you go. I live in the country in Tennessee and have never locked my doors. I do however have a present for anyone who dares to break in.

One good thing about westerners is everybody has installed a camera on the door whereas it's not that common in Asia...all these recordings were horrifying as hell😭
Please do not generalize Westerners. This is in the USA. The West is composed of many countries.
Everybody in the USA does not have security cameras either.
In iraq there are cams everywhere houses/cars litterly everywhere
Minnesota is not a "stand your ground" state.
So, if someone breaks into my home via the front door and I can escape through the back door, I am legally bound to retreat. I cannot engage nor defend my home nor family. Doesn't matter if there is a weapon or not, I need to retreat.
Got into it with the police chief in our small town.
Flat out told him that I would stand my ground, defend my home and family.
Guess I'll be going to jail.
Wow unbelievable.
Press your elected officials to change that STUPID law!! Everyone has a God given right to defend yourself and your family.
Also, vote Republican!!!!
That’s messed up!!
I think we should be able to defend ourselves in our homes and elsewhere no matter what! Like you, I would do it too!!
That’s just pitiful
Same in Illinois not "stand your ground" state. Really sad. Democrats are clueless and side on criminals.

Honey that thing was not even a real human
Sometimes humans cone across creatures like that who mean no well intentions
I never open the door to someone I don't know, even in the daytime, even to kids. I don't even let them know I'm home. One, because I don't want to deal with it (antisocial), two I don't trust ANYBODY. 😉
Haha saaame! If someone knocks on my door, I go into full-on lockdown drill from middle school mode. I now have a sign outside that says "do not knock, just go the fuck away."
Thankfully I don't live somewhere where people just knock on random doors, though, so that helps.
I have a blind friend, though, who lives in a bigger city, and because he works from home, he's always getting knocks on the door, and every time he's like, "Come on in!"
Clearly we are polar opposites lol
@@coalblooded yeah, unfortunately I get kids, Jehovah's Witnesses, solicitors, wrong apartment, ect. I'm like "Just go away!" 🙄

After watching the one with the clown, I quietly walked over to my door to make sure it was locked. Scary shit

The mountain lions sightings are indeed common because many of these houses have been built in their territory! I live in Colorado.
Yes! Then the people who move in there, where it was home to the wildlife, gripe about the wild animals.
Our population is way too big now. It's actually annoying.
Are you sure? Guy scared me to dead for sure.

Wtf yea this was creepy and annoying at the same time
The man at the end was the creepiest, holy shit.
It makes me LOL when burglars look directly into the ring doorbell camera, shuffle like 2 inches over, continue to look directly into it, and still don't think that the person on the other side can see them.
“Are you sure” Are you absolutely certain” “Are you positive”
Brooo this guy ong
Ok but those mountain lions are gorgeous 😍
This is the kind of crap that happens because people think that they are now above the law and can get away with pretty much whatever they want. Unfortunately there are people like me who will not tolerate this kind of shit in or around my home and I will do whatever is necessary to protect, not only my home, but also my animals and my family that lives within it.
It's those people that's why
the guy who kept saying "Are you Sure" has such skinwalker vibes 😶

Thank God that the last man was arrested he was scary and I had seen him on another video but it never said what happened after he left, I am so glad Amanda was safe and put him online she was brave for doing that
This is why I'm so glad I live in Australia. Encounters like this are very rare and even if they happen, very few would have a gun in their possession

Yeah, I live in Germany and always think the same when I watch these videos.
Aussie here and I agree. Although in my town we've been having car and house fires and break ins. The fire-bug hasn't been caught yet.

Ok, I have a question. Why didn't these people call the police from the very beginning?
Because this video is BS.
@@nancyhillard6456 If you believe that, then why watch the video at all?
I called them before when someone was banging and banging on my front door but they said there's nothing they can do because no crime had been committed!

Because the moment you call the police they can break your door because they think you are not home.
How did they not catch that clown? His prints must have been everywhere, and that guy MUST have had a record.

12:01 now why the hell would someone leave their car doors unlocked and leave valuables at that inside said car???? Like imagine if she did have a extra set of keys that could be used to get inside???? Like thats so scary to even think about.
You’d be so surprised by how many people leave cars unlocked with money stored inside, expensive bags, computers etc.
I'm always eager to watch your videos. Keep them coming!
Tbh i love watching creepy video's before bed
I totally agree, Paul. Never never open your door!
It's sad that the police don't even bother to follow up on a lot of these. That poor Lyft driver with the girl biting him. It's on camera and they must have had her name, info to order and address but they do nothing about it. That just reinforces that she can get away with it and do it again
All of sudden the police are a welcomed sight.🤣🤣

Always get a security door thats a rod iron or metal door that locks on both sides that goes in front of your front door. Always get multiple rings so you get several access points covered. Get motion lights and motion sounds.
These videos should be ads for ring doorbells, or home security of any kind. Every time I watch one of these all I can think of is how many people in the past have fell victim to these creeps and thiefs, how just having a camera outside and being able to survey the body language or clothing of the person at the door can determine the out come of what happens. Must save so many lives, I really feel like I need one 😭
These videos should be ads of door rbells . ..... bro casually dropped the greatest marketing strategy
Pretending no one is home will prevent any intentions they have👍🏼
And always close any type of thing that covers the windows so they don’t peak into the windows and see you.
yeah of course and if they think no one is here, they might try to intrude inside to rob
People you know, could have bad intentions? Whats the solution? Hide if a friend knocks on the door?

Did u really have to add he was a black man don't be a racist because of something like that happened we aren't all that way
@@qutanyaWoods-wm6vv - I’m far from being a racist.
PS We have 4 bi-racial grandchildren, who are fabulous human beings, whom we are extremely proud of. No one said all blacks are that way. I do not make generalizations.
You could have just given the context instead of leaving it out and mentioning skin color. This is pure racism. Full Stopp.
