- Chris Hansen catches a married predator during a sting operation in Michigan. The predator, Michael Leigh Lott, was charged with soliciting a non-existent minor using the internet as a result of the sting. Lott was sentenced to 25 months in prison after pleading guilty in May 2022 to "Child Sexually Abusive Activity."

I remember when Chris used to do these interviews with a level of calmness and neutrality. You can see after years and years of doing this that it’s really affected him-he’s noticeably more aggressive in his interrogations. Which I absolutely love. I can only imagine what his work has done to his own mental health. Thank you Chris, you’re an American hero 🇺🇸

Originally it was an educational segment on dateline and I think he was being much more careful about appearing to be police or restraining them. Part of what he had to do was get them talking.
Partnering directly with the police makes a massive different in how he's able to approach these interviews. He literally has a captive audience now.

To be fair man I remember my kids by year they were born and always have to sit there and do the math unless they just had a birthday and I don't think I am a bad dad. @theoriginalbnude usually inmates find out what you're in for without even asking. Usually it is only asked for as a confirmation, but you'd be surprised how quickly word gets out. Some have phones and can just look it up on the internet.

I wanted to know his High School history. What makes him think at his age he can go back to a time when he was a minor and able to get away with such foolishness? @@hrdkorebp the guy at the beginning said they have a 100% conviction rate, and all the ones featured on the show ended up with some time locked up. So no they’re not thrown right back in this case. Maybe other types of charges. Pay attention.

It wasn't "less than 60 seconds" ...it was a lifetime of him targeting innocent kids and finally getting caught by authorities , rescuing his current family from any further damage he had made or could have made later.... his family gain a new finally safe life .
Let's be honest, this isn't a "less than 60 second" scenario. According to articles surrounding this guy he was only talking to someone he thought was underage for a hour and a half before agreeing to meet with her.......he's probably done this before

I got full custodyy of my kids when my ex sat in court didnt know how old our kids were(missed by 2 years when he guessed) Judge asked how long we had been married missed by 5 years

No, not heros. Because they are now going to jail. His family, children, lost a breadwinner. When he gets out, he will be much worse. Why? Because he has no job, cannot get a job, and will be on the street. There must be another way in dealing with criminals. As soon as you put them through the system you create real and worse monsters. Rather just give them death penalties then.
