    • @TeffyBabyy
      @TeffyBabyy 2 года назад +1

      With any propagation type, you are going to cut a stem right below a leaf node(where the leaf grows out of the stem) and put into water, soil or a propagation box. A propagation box is good for keeping the soil moist and the lid on the box holds in humidity. If you are taking a stem cutting and propagating water, make sure the stem is about 2 to 3 inches long and it's ideal to have at least 2 or 3 nodes submerged underwater.and it's the same way for soil propagation or a propagation Box.

      I`m in Southern Australia , and we are in our summer season now , it`s very dry and hot here at the moment. I`m building some acrylic terrariums for the fittonias , they do well in those.
      I also use pebble trays , ( just a terra cotta saucer with some fine crushed gravel topped off with water ) that helps a lot , both in shade outdoors , and indoors too. I just have to remember to top up the water every day...

    I had a nerve plant that was slowly going downhill for unknown reasons. I snipped the only stem that still had good looking leaves and threw it in my closed terrarium and hoped for the best. It’s been about 8 or 9 days now and it’s sprouting new leaves and I’m assuming new roots.
    I’d pluck it out to check on them but I just want to leave it alone because I’m scared I’ll disturb the good thing going on for it lol.

      @@maryjanemananghaya8992 hi, actually wala. Kung meron man e hugas bigas pinandidilig ko madalas. I tried putting some of my propagations indoors pumangit tapos yung iba halos mamatay na kaya nilabas ko na din. They just want the perfect soil and indirect light, proper watering then healthy na yan. You can try fertilzers din just in moderation and try hugas bigas din.

      Hi, pwedeng moss lang and mist it regularly. I changed my propagation box content now, I'm not so happy with moss lang and lagi ko tinatanggal to check condition ng cuttings. Now I'm using soilless medium nalang, easier for me same effect din naman. Try to check which is best for you but if you have soilless mix now ok na yan. 👍😊
