To all of those of you who commented on here about ‘repetition and dictation’ or made sarcastic comments clearly do not understand the immense commitment and contribution that these men and women make to ensure that you can enjoy your family life. I am proud to have served but even more proud that the brotherhood of global submariners can combine their knowledge and technology to jointly produce this amazing and much needed service. Please don't lie about Kursk. The technology was available at the time and was at the scene. The Russians attempted the rescue in their dilapidated old rusty tin cans and failed. They refused British help until it was too late.
No the literally all died because the commander waited 15 hours before reporting it he got fired then a bunch of nations brought these things to get them and another commander said they couldnt go near it on like the 5th day they finaly let divers go down... without the rescue chambers but they were all dead long before that Putin went on vacation during this time and a lady was yelling at leaders during press conference and a nurse came up and jabbed her with a needle pretty intresting documentary I just watched on it but they died of a fire it was a rocket or whatever malfunction when being shot broke the nose of the sub then 23 or so people were stuck in the back and they died of chemical fire from oxygen chemicals
@@DeluxHippopatumus they were all dead within 6 hours the remaining crew that survived the initial blasts were killed when a chemical oxygen capsule was accidentally dropped into oily water which resulted in another explosion. The fire consumed the remaining oxygen. They basically suffocated.
My understanding was the LR5 sub was not powerful enough for the current and could not effectively stay on station. I believe there was also issues with the mating of the two subs - there certainly was much communications between the Russians and the RN.
This is a perfect example of showing how precious lives are! No matter what nationality you are or what religion you practice, to create new ways in saving lives where once was impossible, is truly astounding and a testament of brotherly love!! Bless to all involved!!!
@@boeingah-64apache54 Doubt it. Reports explain that 95 of 118 sailors perished in the initial explosions. 23 sailors survived the initial explosions & fires, hiding in compartment 7. According to reports, they would have perished around 12 hours later due to loss of oxygen.

Most subs are nuclear today, and can remain under the sea for a long time on their own power. But only a small part of the ocean floor has been sonar-mapped, and although subs have undersea "vectors" just like aircraft do, it has always been scary to me to think of serving on one. Even though I am a recreational diver (SCUBA) it kind of un-nerves me to think of being way down 1500' below the surface, and today, subs are constructed to withstand the vast pressures of deep oceans up to about 2400' but I have to admire those who serve on those vessels, and thank those who served way back in WWII, when they were crowded, often hot and steamy and very uncomfortable. Brave guys! I read about a story once, about long ago when some men had to escape from a sub 200 feet down, and without special diving equipment, that is extremely dangerous. I can't recall whether or not they all made it to the surface, I know some lived to tell the story. Very brave men to leave that sub and try to surface, knowing the risk!

@@callumjones7386 Yeah, kinda figured that out. Hopefully they managed to recover the bodies for the families sake, but I can only imagine how bad a body would look after that.
@@spacedonkey3412 aeroplanes are pressurised to allow them to fly at high altitude where the jet engines are most efficient, without needing supplemental oxygen to keep people alive. It's not required for structural integrity.
And the other 300 tons on ready need-ed equipment u need power plants decompresion suite the davit to lift recover and the crews or get it to work not forgetting Tom and Collin and u need a damm big helocopter to lift Nemo almost 50 tons of sub ....
So, it is a underwater ambulance. But here is the question. An ambulance had to save everyone, say hyperfactically, NK fatboy kim have a boat crush. Last time i check, ambulance don't carry guns, how to ensure the survivors not hijack the ambulance?
