No matter what country you live in or military service you serve in when the chips are down and others need help you will do almost anything to facilitate help in the hope that you can save a life or lives. Perhaps the Kursk could have been saved IF the Russians had not delayed admitting that they had a submarine down, but NO, they just left the crew to die a long painful death, the Russians would rather let them die than ask for help.
It could have been if not for Putin and the military distrust of any NATO country especially the United States and Britain. Seems it's always us against them Russia and china. Russians are so paranoid I mean the military anyway
