What about the merging on the highway?

Once you pass your road test, you’ll get class 5 novice 1 for 6 months. Then class 5 novice 2 for 12 months. Then if you get no incidents during those times, you’ll graduate as an experienced CLASS 5 driver’s license.

Nope. It depends to the examiner and how you drive. Freeway is a very dangerous route for newbies. So unless they are comfortable with your driving skills, they will take you to the freeway. 😊
