Heidi Darlin without a doubt you are the "Salt of the Earth"like you I love Travel and took off to roam the world at the age of 17andround the world ,two complete circumnavigations of the world before I was 19.I worked my way up slowly from Cadet to Master ingot my first command in 1966then emigrated Canada .I still like travel and even nowI'm retired we have journeyd far and wide.Although you gave up teaching I bet your students must have loved you .I envy your life style now going whereever you want over such a huge network of canals and rivers and ever changing views. Now you have the ideal companion in Bonny and it seems an endless supply of Rum to wet the lips.I can actually se your happiness in your eyes ,Its nice that you have a loving family and great friends among the wonderful community of the canals to visit with ,may it long continue. I was full time teaching as well but didn't fit into the 'system' lol, got out before I was kicked ha ha. Relieving was more fun and since covid I have tutored small groups in a caravan on my front lawn, so much fun and kids who are focused. I love it when people can live their lives by their true calling and not stuck on the conveyor belt of having to slog to live. That dragon is beautiful, what a skill Brian has. goodness me what a small world. I was born and lived in Derbyshire for 8 years, we then emigrated to Rhodesia ( as it was then) in 1958 and in 1964 we moved down to Natal ( South Africa) where I spent my teenage years and adult years until I was 48. We lived in Zululand from 1983 - 1999 and finally returned to the UK at the end of 1999 and are still here. Our girls grew up in Zululand (Richards Bay) and had a wonderful free life there. No wonder I feel I get on so well with you.OMW Bryan's metal work is to die for such amazing work. Wish I could get near to buy some of it.

I love whatever you do but having friends tell us about their lives and how they make a living is totally fascinating. I am positive that you and Bonny love each other and I am so glad that you are not jumping ahead on totally trusting her to act predictably ... time and age will make that more certain. Also, as I mentioned before Bonny is a VERY bright "fur child" and bright children whether human or fur baby can get in real trouble very quickly because of curiosity. You seem to be exercising a really good balance of freedom and controlled freedom so she can explore her new world. We, in the US just don’t have true artisans around every corner. His work was amazing. I LOVE the treble clef poker..So very cool. Thanks for sharing. Also…I’m gonna say it. I do wish you’d share more of your music with us. I know you compose your own things for the vlog. We chatted about it (during the pandemic) when I figured out you used to be a music teacher. I have to admit that there is a huge part of my soul that wants to do just as you have done…Alas way too many critters and an ocean away. To downsize and live simply. What a concept.

Fabulous vlog as usual, great to see Fradley Junction, we spent many of our courting nights in the Swan some 55 years ago (was a lot quieter then) taught my wife to drive on Fradley aerodrome, not far from there, (now an industrial park) keep up the good work with Bonny you will get there in the end.

Heidi! I always enjoy your vlogs…you are my go to between lessons/practicing. This week though, you out did yourself. The blacksmith boat is so cool. We, in the US just don’t have true artisans around every corner. His work was amazing. I LOVE the treble clef poker..So very cool. Thanks for sharing. Also…I’m gonna say it. I do wish you’d share more of your music with us. I know you compose your own things for the vlog. We chatted about it (during the pandemic) when I figured out you used to be a music teacher. I have to admit that there is a huge part of my soul that wants to do just as you have done…Alas way too many critters and an ocean away. To downsize and live simply. What a concept.
Ahoy … it takes me months to make a piece of music as I create all my own sounds too and then months to pass through copyright … I am trying but it’s hard in-between working full time, cruising, exploring and editing videos 🤣🏴☠️

Fabulous vlog as usual, great to see Fradley Junction, we spent many of our courting nights in the Swan some 55 years ago (was a lot quieter then) taught my wife to drive on Fradley aerodrome, not far from there, (now an industrial park) keep up the good work with Bonny you will get there in the end.
