      $10 on a Black Friday sale. Mine is from Black & Decker, either way it tale 20 minutes. Now for Brown rice use IP, much faster and better cook. I like brown Basmati.

    Great comparison but it’s mentioned that the Duo Plus is available in 3quart and 8quart. I had to double check because I have a 6quart Duo Plus currently on order. Had me worried.

    • @JLilliquist
      @JLilliquist Год назад

      Many models are some only 6 and 8 quart. I use 6 quart and have extra liners. I could even run 2 at once but have not done that yet. I have never needed more than the 6 quart can make.

      Only their most popular models are in all three sizes. I still prefer 6 qt. Same for slow cookers, I got a smaller one on a Black Friday sale, I never use it, it has see 1 or 2 uses in over 5 years.

      Depends, I am not planning to remodel the kitchen soon so I got a Duo Crisp which so I can do convection baking faster than my convection microwave. I already had an Ultra. For newbies, a Duo version, for people that do more I use my Ultra more currently. The may change once I try the crisper.

      Depends if you take care of your pot. I tend to take care of my kitchen gadgets and equipment. I have a waffle iron that I got 25 years and and still use. My toaster oven is about 20 years old. My pots and utensils are about 25 years old. My Kitchen Aid mixer is about 18 years old.
      The Instant Pot seems heavy and well made. I figure I'll be using it until it eventually dies, if it ever does. I bought replacement seals and pins and heavy duty accessories to use in it. Clean it well, use it correctly, and don't abuse it, and it should last a while.

    • @applegal3058
