"What do you see in this mugshot"
A mistake the police made.
@Joe Kinchicken Their ego is bigger than my future
Solution: Lie detector test combined with truth serum. Stop discrediting science and technology when it comes to lie detection and truth extrapolation.
@@inconvenientexistenlism Lie detectors aren't science, though. The only people who advocate for lie detector tests as being useful are people trying to sell lie detector machines. The reason why they're inadmissible in a courtoom is because they're psuedoscientific garbage, and the results are entirely subjective. There are thousands of different things that can affect the outcome that have nothing whatsoever to do with the truthfulness of the person being tested.
Truth serum is a problem for a couple of reasons; one, a person cannot be compelled to testify against themselves and so the argument could be made that using truth serum is unconstitutional at face value. However, that's moot because truth serum DOESN'T MAKE PEOPLE TELL THE TRUTH. What it does is make a subject very easy to coerce; their memory becomes very malleable and open to manipulation. Therefore it's actually WORSE than a lie detector, because it can makes it very easy to confess to things that they didn't do but it even becomes possibly to convince them that they did do it.
If you're going to make appeals to science and technology, please read up on the actual science and technology behind these things. They don't work like they do in James Bond movies.
@@seraphinaaizen6278 Lie detectors may not be 100% true, but it's shown to be at least 70% true. 70% is still better than nothing, and better than greedy lawyers and HE SAID or SHE SAID as lame evidence. Combined that lie detector with the subject using truth serum in a courtroom is a far superior way of conducting interrogation. Lie detectors are used by government agencies to conduct background and honesty tests of applicants, and if it's good enough for these government agencies, there is merit. Of course, annoying human activists and criminal-loving sycophants are going to use whatever emotional excuse that could have saved an innocence or quickly prosecuted a guilty. Is truth serum and lie detector all unpopular and unorthodox, perhaps, but it's far better than what we have now of weak "witch accusation." Thankfully, the world is getting better with increasing surveillance as deterrent against criminals...then again annoying human right activists and greedy lawyers will use more lame human aka criminal rights to fight against these advancements as threats to their purpose and profession.
@@inconvenientexistenlism "it's shown to be at least 70% true"
I'm going to need to see a citation for that, because I don't believe that to be the case at all. However, it's worth noting that even if that's true, that means there's a 30% chance of it NOT being true.
Are you alright with approximately 1 in 3 people being convicted based on lie detector evidence actually being innocent?
"Lie detectors are used by government agencies to conduct background and honesty tests of applicants"
Yes, and it's considered a MASSIVE problem that law makers have repeatedly tried to address and law enforcement agencies refuse to even look at despite all of the evidence indicating that they're not reliable.
Pointing out a mistake in law enforcement is not a good argument for castrating the criminal justice system by using pseudoscience that would ABSOLUTELY send innocent people to prison if it was used in the way you are advocating.
"Is truth serum and lie detector all unpopular and unorthodox, perhaps"
It's not about whether it's unpopular or unorthodox. It's the fact that it DOESN'T WORK. The only thing you're going to get from using lie detector tests and 'truth serum' in a court room are a whole lot of wrongful convictions, which is exactly why they're NOT used in the way you're advocating.

My mom knew his parents. Our little country town without a single red light was thrown into this national headline. I'm happy it got overturned, that kid didn't do it. @Danial compton what was the ex's solid alibi? I only heard that it was due to having snow on his truck. I could be missing more information but I'm curious what his actual alibi is. He also just found out the daughter he thought was his, wasn't his.

In the report there was no sign of a break and enter buy anyone, therefore the murderer was inside with them. the sister claims before they went to school she heard a big bang identified as a gunshot noise why did the curiosity of the kids not go and investigate, I think that the demon said to his sister that everything is fine and nothing happens. the demon killed his step mom nobody else would have because they would have not left the murder wepon inside the house. The demon woke up did his morning routine, moved his guns to a strategic location, he loaded his shotgun before entering the room he went inside and shot his step mom in the back of the head immediately killing her the demon collected the shotgun shells and put them in his pocket before leaving for school. The demon was jealous thats the motive for him. if the tree trimmers would have killed her than there would have been a sign of force of entry the house would have been a mess because of the fighting they would have had but it was not there.

I don’t believe we should believe in how he acts I believe we should look at evidence and evidence showed he wasn’t the killer. He wasn’t even home when this happened(he was school). That was the solid evidence that was a huge break of him being released 9 years. All the other evidence the police provided can be easily picked apart because of how horrible the investigation was. The cops literally contaminated the crime scene by not wearing gloves and admiring to it.
@@donjon123 fair enough, i don't really know the details tbh.. but it all sounds very fishy.
I feel so angry for him. Nothing makes me sadder than adults pointing fingers at a child without evidence. Especially the victim's family...who were very quick to want to lock him up. In doing this, they let the real killer get way.
there was evidence
He did it. Review the evidence. His behavior in detention shows no remorse. He didn't show any sense of loss over his stepmother and soon to be born brother and he had been in his room with his 20 gage his dad gave him for Christmas and the shotgun had been recently shot and he had GSR residue on his clothes that morning. I am still confused and big question inside my mind about this serious mystery murder?
google. Insufficient evidence doesnt mean hes innocent, means the lawyer or cops made a mistake
They keep covering up the fact that the child saw a strange black truck parked next to the house as they left for school.
Everybody overlooking the fact that she asked him to stay at home that day too. Why did she ask him to stay home, something had to be going on. I'm not saying the son...but something was making her fearful to the point that she wanted her fiancé to stay home. so sad
if my wife asked me to stay home I would this ass hole did not maybe he killed her some one did and got the fuck away with it
@ Joe...Exactly, if your wife asks you to stay home, instincts should tell you that something may be wrong. He probably thought she was over reacting...clearly she was not. So sad smh
@ Geisha...I feel the same way. I don't think she was afraid of the children either. Someone definitely wanted to hurt her. sad thing is...if someone truly wanted to hurt her, had her fiancé had stayed home, would he have been murdered too. There are a lot of unanswered questions.
Maybe it was a set up to kill the father n it went south so they killed her instead . Rip though
Jealous ex
Of course. She was rightly afraid of little Jordan the double-murderer.
His 7 year old step sister said nothing out of the ordinary happened before going to school..once the police interviewed her a second time her story mysteriously changed. It's very possible and very likely the police influenced and prompted the young girl to blame her brother. Very sad but it happens.
It was his story who changed his sister said she heard a big boom.
1 important question: was the woman's ex, or exes, a COP in that town? if the Answer is somewhat YES....then....This is going to be solved if and if , they let us solved this and not by those cops with connections to the YES answer.----Jr Patatas a brilliant in iogical understanding of a true event.
Yeah makes sense !! She a little girl at that age ur confuse about things so the cops twisted her mind smh
Maybe she was afraid of the cops and of her stop brother
They interviewed her 3 times, the first two times off camera with no recording, the first interview was get her story, the 2nd interview was to plant information in her head and the 3rd recorded interview was to recover the planted information from her head.
It's preposterous that anybody would have to wait 3 years for a trial, let alone an 11 year old! He would have missed important, formative years, no matter whether they had found him guilty or not.
He didn’t blink when he was asked if he murdered her!
Maybe he “looked” like a criminal BECAUSE HE WAS ACCUSED OF MURDER AT 11 YEARS OLD-
He was an easy target hurry up and go to jail was their memo sad
So the boy's story changes slightly and they say that's suspicious. But the girl's story changes in a major way, and that just proves that the boy did it. Yeah, I see the rational line of reasoning here. Maybe an investigation could have been conducted prior to an arrest.
Media Stereotypes, I felt the same way, I don't know what happened that day, but it does sound like the police only had circumstantial evidence, they really rushed to arrest him in just hours without a full investigation, killers/intruders have been know to use the victims own weapon, If his dad was rich, his son would not have spent a day in jail, to me that's the sadist part.
The "investigation" (if you can call it that) is laughable. They never tested the supposed weapon he used but instead say it was a "similar" weapon. Their "new witness" was 4 years old at the time. The weapon he supposedly used had zero blood splatter or human tissue on it and they never swabed his hands for gun powder. Oh, and their other leads were quickly eliminated as suspects within less than 24 hours. They stole a boy's childhood and won't even apologize for it.
Are you saying the little girl did it and is covering her tracks?
@@yotatoy8218 that's funny. Children (and adults for that matter) change their stories. Children especially are also tremendously open to being led. So they asl each of the children to try really hard to remember anything at all that wss unusual. Was someone in the truck? Yeah, I think so, maybe. Did you hesr anything? Did it sound like a shot? Yeah maybe?
The father should have been present when the kids were interviewed. But no one would have imagined that they were interviewing the boy as a possible suspect.
It's crazy to me that they could suggest that an 11 yesr old, acting out pf jealousy, could shoot the woman and just hop off to school like nothing had happened. All in a matter of moments.
Even hardened killers need time to pull things together and cover their tracks. But this kid just felt nothing, no panic, nothing.
It never even occurred to them to check his story about a black truck. Maybe the saintly woman with a handful of kids was having an affair? Someone in the police department was in an awful hurry to pin this on someone and forgo a real investigation. Whenever that happens, something definitely smells rotten.

@@damianjackson7437 So just so ppl know.. the family allowed the boy to have access to his own shotgun. The sister saw the boy carrying it around before they left for school and heard it being shot. There was snow surrounding the house and a single shotgun case following the boys footsteps that lead to his bus stop. The boy had gun powder on him, but the defendant stated it wouldn’t be unlikely since the family often shot weapons. Law enforcement figured this would be sufficient enough evidence. It was not.
