When my mother baked pies, she would roll out and bake the crust trimmings for delicious after-school snacks. We ate them with strawberry jam or orange marmalade. She passed away in 2002, and my dad passed away in 1988. I am now in my 80s, and will always cherish their memories, as do their 2 grandsons, my nephews. 私の母がパイを焼くとき、放課後のおいしいサクサクしたおやつのために、パイの部分を伸ばして焼いていました。イチゴジャムやオレンジマーマレードと一緒に食べました。彼女は 2002 年に亡くなり、父は 1988 年に亡くなりました。私は現在 80 代ですが、彼らの思い出をこれからも大切にしていきます。彼らの 2 人の孫や私の甥たちも同様です。
