- There was a ton of talent in the NBA throughout Jordan's career, and there was always another challenge on the horizon. On this night, it would be Michael Jordan unloading his entire arsenal against 3 Hall of Famers, on the 1990 Golden State Warriors!
The Warriors, during this era, were best known for their dynamic trio of superstars, often referred to as "Run TMC." This trio consisted of Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin. They brought a fast-paced, high-scoring style of play to the league and fans all around the world will never forget how talented this team truly was.
Run TMC embodied an electrifying, fast-paced style of basketball that blended unselfish teamwork with spectacular individual plays. Their ability to transition seamlessly from defense to offense, combined with their exceptional scoring prowess and highlight-reel moments, kept fans on the edge of their seats every game. The chemistry and camaraderie among the trio, along with their penchant for high-scoring, close contests, made the Warriors a must-watch team that made fans want to celebrate the sheer joy and excitement of the game.
All three members of Run TMC, Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin, have been inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, cementing their status as basketball legends.
The Warriors also featured NBA legend, and fan favorite, Manute Bol! Manute Bol's towering presence on the NBA court during the Jordan era was nothing short of astonishing, as he stood at 7 feet 7 inches, making him one of the tallest players in the history of the league. Fans were in constant awe of his remarkable shot-blocking ability and his distinctive appearance, which often led to gasps and cheers from the crowd. Michael Jordan once said, "He made you think about driving to the basket a little differently when you saw him there. You knew he could block it, but you had to get in there and challenge him anyway. That was Manute's presence. It was a game-changer." And Charles Barkley added, "Manute Bol made you think twice about going into the paint. He was a shot-blocking machine."
On this night though, even 3 Hall of Fame players with the legendary Manute Bol were no match for the offensive onslaught that Air Jordan unleashed!

This was a masterpiece game for MJ but they all were. He did the same thing every night. The defense (steals, blocks, rebounds, constantly disrupting the opponents offense), the creativity, the scoring, the motor, the intensity and tenaciousness. I'm convinced he could've averaged 50 every year during his prime but he was also intentional about getting his teammates involved as well. He played the game at a different level than anyone else that has ever played and probably ever will. Simply the, "greatest of all time"

Great call out on the zone defense Blitz. The Bulls employed multiple different strategies to defeat a zone made tougher by having Manute Bol in the middle.
Mitch Richmond was mentioned by MJ on being a hard player to defend because of his similar attributes, being able to create his own shot despite any heavy defense applied...
