I love how Detroit fans assume that if they won in 88, it's a given they'd win in 89 and 90. It would've changed the trajectory of both the Lakers and Pistons. Lakers likely would've came back hungrier or even more retooled and that might have meant they win in 89 or 90. Also changes the hunger of Detroit and their need to trade Dantley.
