I hate to tell you this, but concrete has a tendency to explode when heated. Ask any firefighter. The best material to use is firebrick, terra cotta or metal.

Não pode fazer armação nesse caso. O metal espande com o calor e aí sim que iria rachar tudo de vez.
Uso de argamassa refratária seria o adequado.
Pode-se usar armação sim.
