Nicole and Ashley were my grammar school classmates and Nikki has helped me out so much because now my mom has SCI as of last year in May. It’s been an adjustment for me as a caregiver. My mom and I experienced all of this together. I always tell her you are not alone in this, it’s so many people like you. But I love your channel Kevin
When you both were talking about bedbaths it took me back to when my 25 yr old daughter was in the hospital after breaking her back in her car accident. Nurses didn't put “bathing” high on the list so until she could get her first shower, I kept her clean. That first shower she was able to take brought her back to a good point mentally. I cried so much while she was showering, I was so thankful she was still here to shower. Thank you both for sharing your stories. Such a powerful video. Wishing all of you much healing and happiness.
Proud of you both Ashley and Nikki!!!! You two are beautiful ladies and yall have come so far!!! Jesus loves you!! God bless you both . We love yall courage!!! Keep sharing your stories!
My Best friend had Muscular Dystrophy she also had an identical twin sister with the same disease at the same progression. They both lived on non-invasive life support respirators and they both had moterized wheelchairs. My Best friend survived her sister for about 12 years and then she past away this past January. I took care of her for the last 3 years by myself. I miss her a lot.
Thank you Nikki and Ashley for sharing your story with us. Thank you Kevin for providing the platform for honest talk about life with a different ability!
This is the first video I’ve watched of you interviewing other injured individuals and I have to say it’s so eye opening. I absolutely am going to watch every single one. This is so very informative and it’s shows that this can happen to anyone of us. It’s inspiring at the same time. So many emotions. If I could hit the like button a million times I would. Thank you for this.
Honestly I've never seen someone make a channel like this well videos like this usually people just share their stories but sharing others stories is so touching you're doing good Kevin 👍
It’s so beautiful to see the positive spirit of everyone you interview. God bless you Kevin and god bless these beautiful sisters. Btw my mother is a twin aswell
Kevin your videos are so valuable to so many people, please don't stop making such informative videos. I am so glad you matured and have become a wonderful role model to the abled bodied and disabled people alike. Thank you man, you are going places. It's in the works. I'm speaking it into existence. Love you and what you're doing! Blessing to you and Kassy!
Sat through the whole thing, their story is insane being twins and getting paralyzed the same day they definitely should try and share their story through a book or movie not to be exploitive to their situation but that’s a unique perspective I don’t know if anybody else in the world can relate to. Also your a great interviewer I’m definitely gonna be binge watching these!
I had to look up what Nikki was saying about her body filling up with water. As per Google: Like the brain, the spinal cord is protected by three layers of tissue and is surrounded by the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) that acts as a cushion against shock or injury. I'm learning so much from these podcasts.
This was powerful. Thank you both so much for sharing. Special thank you to Nicole. Your openness about everything but especially mental health was appreciated. I’m praying the best for you and your sister Ashley. Love this channel! 🥰🙏🏾🙏🏾

It's gonna sound dumb but I thought that people in wheelchairs just couldn't walk. Like too old or too big or just were weak. I didn't know what paralyzed meant.
So proud of you Kevin, having a podcast to help people share their stories!!!!
