I personally adore the design of the new murano. In my opinion, the last model was absolutely horrendous. Some people just naturally reject such radical change. It'll grow in them haha
Would buy based on looks alone. I personally think that's the design isn't conservative enough for "empty nesters". That to me implies boring. This vehicle is gorgeous and I see younger people buying this over the pathfinder which has gotten soft and boring.

I have had it for a month now, and I love it. I have got a lot compliments on its looks. I had an infinity g37x, and this Murano drives better. Better than Lexus RX.
I love the way it looks, I love everything about it! Especially the mother-o-pearl finish on the inside, absolutely gorgeous!!

Great video, love 4K quality. Really impressed by the design, it's really striking but purposeful and clever. The interior trim and color is really innovative, the soft white LED accent lighting is more sophisticated than the the typical vivid LED colors. I noticed the panoramic roof has a standard size opening, while Edge/MKX have an oversized opening which I would personally prefer. I really like the motorized return of the fold-fat seat backs, again a nice feature that I don't think the new Edge has for example. Not allot going on with regard to drivetrains beyond economy gains.

More like Roman was asking the questions pertaining to this Murano rather than Scott Pak telling the reviewer more about the vehicle without Roman asking him questions.
Many people are turned off by the CVT, including you as I remember.
Having said that, I can't help wonder why this gentleman did not take this opportunity to shed more positive light on the CVT on this gorgeous vehicle taking advantage of the latest developments in CVT design improvements that we've come to see in the Accord, Forester, and others. Surely Nissan must've adopted at least some of them here. Just sayin.

Love it. I used to own a 06 model and loved it, now I drive a Infiniti FX37, I just might go back to Murano again if everything goes well with the car. Time will tell!

I can't wait to see some of these design queues in the next Maxima. I love the front detail and the headlight evolution, I just find the rear lights a bit "bug eyed"...They stick out too much, I wasn't a fan of those on the Juke either, but they're definitely pushing some nice designs forward.

Love the design of the interior with the notable exception of the so called "mother of pearl" accents. I assume that there will be more options but other than that it's quite well done. Not digging the front end but it's nice to see that Nissan kept the overall essence of the Murano.
Unless you are a car enthusiast there is nothing song with CVT. I've been driving the 06 model for a 3 years. And I can tell you I haven't had any problem with the car. Go for regular check up and all is fine.
It's pretty nice actually comparing to the past murano generations. The "floating roof" however, may have been thought out during the creation of this car, but I did see that design first on the bmw i3.
With the Rogue and Pathfinder taking both practical ends of the crossover spectrum, the Murano is going to settle even further into its semi-premium luxury niche, and that's extremely evident by the wild styling that this new one carries.
GREAT interior, built on the styling and functional achievements of the current Rogue. Exterior, dynamic but I'm not sold on it. I wish they didn't confuse the D-pillar area.... I was hoping for a styling acknowledgement of previous generations

we had a 04 murano. loved the bodystyle of that gen. Was not a fan of the CVT, no power. Having said that, one of the best cars we've had. My Daughter's 07 Versa got her thru high school, college and still going strong while she is making her way into the real world. My 05 Frontier was the best truck I owned, traded for titian.
The front of the 2015 Murano is too ugly for me to even consider this car.
For the same amount of money, the 2015 KIA Sorento is the best crossover in this segment.
Stefan Schmidt This. The CVT is also a huge minus for this car.
And I agree the 2015 Sorento and 2015 Territory are the best SUV's this year according to most motoring reviews.
Stefan Schmidt Ford Territory and Hyundai Santa Fe are excellent in this segment too.

Good hp , but noticed the same engine yields more hp in other v hi putting it in 4rh “gear” is almost like a sport mode. Do it for short distances but it’s fun. Don’t believe it’s harming anything any advice on usurp tiptronic to get more sports car feel?

The platinum Nissan murano depreciates quick and easy to get the payment you want. There are some 2015 to 2018 platinum murano pretty reasonable with low mileage. The rebates are pretty good on the 2019. I don't know if it's the cvt. Some dealerships offer a lifetime warranty on the engine. Yep. You can find a bargain on these.
I know the looks seems very weird but I actually love the design of this car. It's really an eye catcher on the road. It's not for everyone of course but to me it looks great. The Murano always had a different look than the standard SUVs.. this one is no different. Love the aggresive line.

Haters be hating, who are probably mostly Toyota fanboys. This car looks great. The styling is bold and different and is definitely going to shake up the CUV market once released. Keep it up Nissan. Just get the CVT out of the pathfinder and the maxima.

Almost everything you wanted to know. Almost because you forgot about theactive grille shutters and the awd torque vectoring to help improve handling by minimizing understeer/oversteer. Finally awd tech that can be used on- road where it counts in everyday driving. How does the radr see 2 cars dhead?
I have a 2012 Murano. The only time I really don't like the CVT is on medium-speed, curvy backroads.

It seems like this will be a cheaper version of the Infiniti Q30 that will be debuting late next year. However, it is a sharp looking crossover, but it would of been nice to have a chose of transmissions

Wow this looks nice inside and out but i wish the interior was black or at least darker, white gets dirty too fast. Can't wait to see how it performs i wonder if this will be better than the notoriously successful Highlander. I like European cars but u gotta admit Japanese are taking over with reliability, value, economical.

Did they get rid of the orange dash lights? I ask because I didn't buy the 2014 because of the ugly orange dash lights. Everything else was great.
I fucking love the look of it! It reminds me slightly of the Renault Captur. What a shame that you guys in the US don't have the chance of seeing one, or any French car for that matter.
If this is priced like the current murano, it could be a great car. Hopefully they don't raise the price to $40k+ considering the rogue has gotten abit bigger/better with the redesign.
