I purchased the foundation and I like it a lot too but 2 days ago I received a phone call from Rabanne asking me to return the foundation as they were not happy about the texture!!! They assured me that there was nothing wrong with it medically speaking just that they were not satisfied with its texture. So they're withdrawing all the foundations here in Paris

Also, the quads are SO much prettier and impressive in person! Their advertisements really did them no justice, but oh my, the curations are lovely and look beautiful on you...that green...wow! Thank you for such a stellar watch...I always walk away feeling I've learned a ton bc you really do such a standout job in covering all the nuances in such a thorough, thoughtful and unbiased manner.
This release seems like makeup for people who LOVE makeup ❤ We don't get enough collections like this, these days, especially of such quality. I picked up a few of the Colorshot eyeshadows during the Ulta sale. Thanks for the thorough review!
Lexi, thank you for introducing Rabanne. I’ve seen but did not know much about the products. The eyeshadows look pigmented but the foundation wow that is the lightest shade. I think with new companies they have to start somewhere and test out things and hopefully make improvements. Thank you for reviewing and the beautiful eyeshadow swatches! 😊🌺

@@LexiJong Thanks. I love it. In fact, I love ILNP. Their metallic polishes are unparalleled. Juliette, Chelsea, Madison Avenue and some others were staples for awhile. I had my nails damaged and they looked terrible while they grew out. But those metallics, with all the metal pieces, actually filled in the ridges and made my nails look OK until they were healthy again. I may get into their metals again when it gets gloomier out. They are cheery in mid winter.

Hi Lexi! Thank you for investing in this new brand and testing and reviewing a wide selection of products. I was looking forward to your review of this brand. Though the lipsticks and the eye duos and quads seem nice, I am now most interested in the Color Shot liquid eyeshadows - especially the Lavender Sky shade. It’s an ambitious start for this new brand - whose name I have long associated with men’s fragrances. It was perhaps too many products at once, as some should have been perfected prior to being launched, like the glitter lotion and the eyelash products. Thanks again for your thoroughness and doing real wear-tests as opposed to first impressions, which can be so misleading. Looking forward to your next video!
This is the review I was waiting for! The packaging got me drooling and I almost got a eyeshadow quad but I decided to wait, thank you for this review, I am specially interested in that creamy lavender shade but I dunno if that justifies getting the whole palette…probably not.
I purchased the eyeshadow quad with the cream formula and I’m happy with that cream too, although I agree the sparkling shadows are quite subtle and light like a topper as you well said. I’m going to try the liquid shadow 😊

I have to say, it is interesting watching a makeup launch with a few flops. It seems like they had something very specific in mind with the products. Perhaps the glitter in the dropper bottle is meant for the body? I saw Ali Andrea use the same eyeshadow duo and I thought it was gorgeous.
The glitter can be used anywhere. They have a picture of it on the cheeks too. They have some specific body glitters as well but I didn't purchase those.

It is very shimmery - but no glitter. I think it looks nice. No creasing; stayed put all day. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants an easy to apply cream eyeshadow and doesn’t mind a bit of shimmer. Great as a one and done or paired with a matte shadow in the crease. I put a little bit of my WA powder bronzer in crease and that worked well.

thanks for the rview , the texture of the foundation is excat the same like chanel serum , plus if you wanna ad coverage better to use stiff face brush and you will see the different and thats my opinion its not bad just use the right brush
I personally prefer the Chanel serum - it gives a lot more coverage with one layer for me than this one does but it sounds like they are reformulating the Rabanne foundation already so we will see what changes they make. I'm glad you are enjoying it and thanks for the brush tip.
Trying to catch up on watching your video, and enjoying another great review. Can't wait to try the color shot, did you have any fallout at all after a while of wearing it? My pet peeve is having those glitter raccoon eyes lol, even if it is a very finely milled glitter, I can't have it. I am so excited about the green eyeshadow, it reminds me of a Chantecaille limited-release wolf trio, and it feels nearly identical, I don't use that trio anymore due to the age of the palette, and so excited to see it reborn so to speak, as I never could find a close match. Surprisingly the Rabanne color shot does not give me any fallout. I've worn it a few times now and no issues. I had totally forgotten about the wolf trio but that is a great comparison!!

I definitely want to try the green quad and one of the neutral ones and a duo! It’s too bad the Glitter Shot fluid doesn’t work (or worse-smears what you already have on your eye!). The concept is cool, but the execution is terrible! You really took one for the team with that product! The eyeshadow compacts have holes so we can string them up?? I’m so glad a brand finally did this. Now I no longer have to waste my weekends drilling holes through my eyeshadow palettes so I can wear them as a necklace! You're always the first with new makeup! Thanks for wasting your money on these. I looked at them online and was not impressed. I did get the Cle De Peau Holiday and the packaging and makeup is lovely and really they are colors you can wear all year.

Speaking of foundation , Harrods updated my order, i wish that they would just cancel. So foundation is not av, i ordered also pulse eyeshadow but now with shipping its not worth it. I contacted them through email yesterday, but havent got response yet. Do you know how i can contact them? How long it takes for them to respond? I guess i will have to order from Selfridges, which is what i should done in the first place 😂 P.s havent received Chanel enhancers yet. Once i do i will let you know how i like it. Hi Lexi, I think overall Rabanne makeup is not very exiting and Prada seems to be a better quality. I didn’t try anything from these 2 brands and my opinion is based from youtube videos. Thank you for sharing!🤗
The fairest shade of foundation is such a disappointment. But I have to say a lot of brands are not very inclusive of lighter skintones so I kind of expected it. Maybe the glitter drops could be used as body makeup.
The eyeshadow pallets look so pretty 😍 I think the whole stringing it on a necklace thing is kinda tacky and a dumb idea 🤣 I mean who is gonna take their eyeshadow pallets and use it as a necklace unless your 10 . Besides they could break. LOL so I'm not into that idea but I'm into trying these pallets and the cream shade you got is so beautiful.

I thought the same thing about the necklace idea! Lol. That's something you might see in kids' makeup for a novelty item.
Yet another makeup line and this one seems less-well-planned than the Prada Beauty one.
The Prada is definitely better imo but these palettes are nice in a more affordable range.
The quads are giving me Nabla vibes and not high end. I think it’s a pass for me at this point. My wallet is pleased.
