weird animation loop of a hand lol

this was animated on paper with some help from TVPaint. i did all the keyframes for this on my animation desk, used about 60 sheets for it. i scanned in all of the frames and timed it out in TVPaint. figured i'd try to use TVPaint for cleanup and inbetweens, but i went a little wild with it after a certain point. i threw away a huge chunk of the original animation because the motion didn't make any sense, so i re-animated that entire section in TVPaint instead using a bunch of my brushes and random colors. oh yeah, that big metal-lookin' thing at the bottom of the frame is actually the bottom of an acme pegbar that i taped onto my scanner surface. it helps a fair bit because i'm able to scan the full platter and keep the drawings in the correct places, without the scanner doing any auto-align stuff that might mess up the placement slightly.
anyways yea its been a while since ive uploaded an animation here. ive been doing a lot more music lately, but slowly easing myself back into animating random stuff lol
