Pretty sure the “mist” emoji was supposed to be “head in the clouds”, so now I’m wondering what could’ve been if they interpreted it like that. Still love the puffy celestial shroom kid and bog king mushroom lad.
I always viewed it more as the "homer fading into the bushes" meme. Like, that type of speechless and utter shock where you just kinda say peace 'n dip out (or well.. fade into the mist/clouds lol)

I really loved Pastel's SCP flower. It legit feels like it could be a real SCP and the fact that it's such an amazing design that she basically conceptualized on the spot is just flabbergasting!
I love that at the last round,Flurry's one was super emotional,so sad,SCP story about an antropomorphic tulip mourning the death of a loved ones,and then Henki is like a bird and a crocodile get married. Love the energy with these 2😊

I love that you made an SCP that wasn't just a Murder Bucket I would've drawn someone embracing a dissipating ghost while holding a bouquet of flowers if had the skill

This entire video is sooo good! I love the unique character designs, you both went in such different directions which makes it super fun to compare. The animations were gorgeous (loved the lil celestial shroom guy's one especially) and the backstory to the designs was really cool too! Overall just a super fun video!!
The ammount of effort that went into this video is absurd. I know how long animation takes and it's crazy how polished everything was. Probably the reason why this channel exploded tbh. Love your work, keep it coming!
I’ve done this challenge before!!! it’s super fun practice for creature and character designs!! one of my older ones is a pumpkin, knife, and cat which and MUCH more versions is my bread and butter of when I’m experiencing a struggle in making art to just ask friends for and giving them the characters/creatures :}

Funny that pastel brings up a comforting SCP that brings people things in consolation and there's literally an SCP that does that. Except it's just a dude who sits with you as you are passing, but only if no one is there to mourn you. Also he brings smokes. Sorta like a bouquet.
in my head all of these characters are part of the same story... The cow woman is picking flowers and comes across a cave. in the cave the little shroom boy spots her and thinks she is beautiful, but as she passes by she drops a flower and shroom boy wants to return it. When he catches up to her he returns the flower and offers to guide out of the cave, she puts him in her basket and they continue on through the cave. They spot the tall mushroom man with a sword and they run over to talk to him and he tells them that his friends are getting married but he cannot cross a chasm, the cow woman creates a vine bridge and they begin to cross but the bridge brakes and they fall into the chasm. they get separated and shroom boy and the mushroom man have to maze their way through a forest of puffball mushrooms, in the forest they are met with the mushroom ghost and shroom boy is scared but the mushroom man is interested and finds it wasn't real. they find their way out to find the cow woman sitting at a marshy pond with the married couple, the mushroom man is sad he missed the wedding but is told it's fine. time flies by and the mushroom woman died and shroom buy morns her grave. the tulip man appears to comfort shroom boy...

That Tulip person seems like an amazing idea. I'm kind of bummed that we don't have our own modern mythos that such an idea can take place.
I think we do, it's just that we have so MANY mythos' to draw from that it's difficult to really pin down any one concept.
